Elizabeth's house is about to get a little merrier this holiday season as Will Lipton makes his General Hospital return as her oldest son, Cameron.
Cameron comes home to Port Charles
No doubt Liz (Rebecca Herbst) will be excited when Cameron comes home for the holidays and updates his mom on his life at college. Cam left Port Charles for Stanford University in 2023 on a soccer scholarship but returned earlier this year for Spencer's (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) funeral before flying back to California.

When Cameron first left town, he had just learned that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) had broken up with him because she had fallen for (and cheated on him with) Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Now, Josslyn is all alone again after Dex recently passed away after a mysterious heart attack. He had been stabbed in Rice Plaza and was on the mend, but then he was suddenly gone.
With Cameron's return coinciding with Dex's death, will Cam be there as a comfort for Joss, as well as celebrate the holidays with his family?
In an interview with TV Insider, Lipton offered a hint at what we might see.
"At the center of all Cameron storylines, past, present, and future, it’s always his extreme loyalty and love for his family," the actor said. He will be exploring the town a little bit, maybe run into a few people that he has known throughout his time in Port Charles, but at the end of the day, it’s just him celebrating the love that he has for his family and the love that he feels from his family. So, I think the people who are tuning in will be really happy to see Cameron being as happy as he is at this current stage of his life."
Lipton was thrilled to be back in the General Hospital building
Lipton began playing a teenage Cameron in 2018 and became an instant fan favorite. He relished spending his teen years on a soap set and was excited to return to the GH studio for this little visit.
"I mean, from the beginning of my sophomore year of high school to my sophomore year of college, my life was coming to Prospect Studios," Lipton marveled. "It was just a really special feeling seeing all the people that I would see at the front gate, who gave me a big hug when I came back. My ID still works, which was a shock."
Lipton was honored to return and said he will never forget the experience he had as part of the GH cast.
"I really tried to make sure that I let everyone know what an incredible, positive impact General Hospital has had on my life," he explained. “It is giving me my fondest memories and the fact that they were not just willing to have me back, but excited to have me back, meant a great deal to me and to my family."
