General Hospital comings and goings: Bryce Durfee cast as Josslyn's WSB pal

General Hospital's Josslyn Jacks is about to become a secret agent and all secret agent trainees need handlers. On Friday, March 7, GH fans will meet Joss' WSB handler Vaughn, played by soap newcomer Bryce Durfee.

Nebraska native Durfee began his career as a model before branching out into acting. He has appeared on such shows as Yellowstone, Hacks, Pump, Aquarius, and Man With a Plan, according to IMDb.

Although GH is Durfee's first soap, Vaughn is not the first character Durfee has auditioned for. Back in 2018, he was a finalist for the role of Harrison Chase. Although Josh Swickard eventually landed the part and has been playing Chase ever since. Swickard and Durfee have another connection. They knew one another from their modeling days.

"It was down to me, Josh and I think a third guy," Durfee told Soap Opera Digest in an interview. "And the best man got it! Josh is absolutely fantastic, and I was really excited to run into him on set [at GH] recently."

Durfee is curious to see his word debut considering the whirlwind first day he had settling into life on a soap set.

"That first day was just a whirlwind," he said. "I kind of felt like I got thrown into a washing machine and I got spit out an hour later. That’s kind of how I remember that first day. I can’t wait to see how it turned out!"

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was in shock when Jack (Chris McKenna) suggested she become a WSB agent after she tracked down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and killed him when he was coming after her with an ax. She even figured out that it was Cyrus who killed Dex (Evan Hofer).

The last thing the environmental science student expected was a job offer after making her first kill shot, but within hours of accepting, she was on a plane headed to the WSB training academy. When she gets there we will meet Vaughn. The question on everyone's mind will be whether he might become a new love interest for the very single Josslyn. With Dex dead and Cameron (William Lipton) off in California with a new girlfriend, Joss certainly needs a new boyfriend...
