General Hospital alum Vinessa Antoine's desperate search for missing brother

Vinessa Antoine, the popular actress who brought Jordan Ashford to life on General Hospital from 2014 to 2018 needs your help locating a loved one.

General Hospital star's social media plea

On January 17, Antoine took to Instagram to explain her family situation. Her brother has been missing since December, and authorities had come up empty in their search.

"MISSING PERSON! My brother Micheal Antoine has been missing for over a month and the police have not been helpful," the actress wrote. "I put out a missing person report 30 days ago with The Toronto police department, The OPP, and the Durham police.

"Instagram family, I usually don't post on social media unless it's about a TV or film project but at this point, I have no choice," Antoine continued. "If anyone knew my brother or knows where he might be, please dm me. Any information is helpful. It can be anonymous if you prefer...He was last seen in the Hamilton area with a woman named Elizabeth Spencer. He usually goes on Facebook every day but has not been on his socials for over a month. Please share if you can."

Antoine offers an update on her brother

Antoine took to Instagram again on January 18 to post a photo of Michael with an update: "Possible sighting of my brother in Hamilton this morning near Olympic Park," the words on the picture read. There are encampments nearby, and he might have been seen panhandling."

The actress also thanked fans and supporters for reaching out with tips and urged people to spread the word about Michael on other social media platforms.

The hunt continues for my brother," she wrote. "It's amazing how just a couple of breadcrumbs of information can help lead a path to finding missing people. Some of you have given some wonderful tips and even possible sightings.

"I have joined many social media groups aimed to help find missing people in the Hamilton, Ontario area including a wonderful Facebook group called: Missing: Human Beings of Hamilton. If you're on Facebook, please consider joining the group and posting about my brother and/or messaging me there as well if you have any information you think will be helpful. "

Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), who shares a special friendship with Antoine from their crime-solving days on GH, shared Antoine's second post and also asked for help.

"My dear friend @therealvinessaantoine brother Michael Antoine has gone missing in #HamiltonOntario Canada," Hughes shared. "Incredibly worrying as she hasn’t heard from him in a month. Putting this here in case this photo jogs a memory 💕 it’s possible he may have been in and around Hamilton Encampment, Olympic Park, Hamilton Mountains."
