Although Matt Cohen’s character, Dr. Griffin Munro, hasn’t been on General Hospital for quite some time, the fans still love him and pray for an eventual return. The actor has been keeping himself busy between producing his animated series Public Domain and even opening up his home for victims of the LA wildfire. The kind and ambitious actor recently shared some words of wisdom for his fans who are pursuing their dreams.
Stay relentless

General Hospital’s Matt Cohen took to Instagram, sharing his enthusiasm with his fans by writing, “I love all the faceless social media accounts with positive inspiration! I think I’m gonna start writing my own and putting a face to it!” And he did just that by attaching a video to the post. In it, he said, “You're closer than you think. Most people quit when things get tough, not realizing they were just inches away from their breakthrough, the discomfort, the setbacks, the moments of doubt. Those aren't signs to stop. They're proof that you're growing.”

His words were probably aimed at budding actors or anyone going for a job or working on a project that finds rejection or failure in their pursuit. He continued with his inspirational words, stating, “Success doesn't come to those who wait, it comes to those who refuse to back down. So keep pushing, keep showing up, and keep proving yourself that you're built for more.”
He remarked that perseverance in one’s pursuits will eventually pay off by wrapping his speech up with, “And one year from now, I bet you'll look back and think to yourself that you didn't give up today. So stay hungry, stay relentless. Your time is coming.”
@faithbarilla really needed some inspiration and responded, “Thank u ❤️ I needed this having a rough week at work, college thank you.” @taylor.richardsss, who obviously loved the actor when he played Castiel on Supernatural, gushed, “You are amazing! Thank you for this! We love you! #spnfamily ❤️.” #spnfamily refers to ‘Supernatural Family,’ or fans of the beloved horror series.
@itslvka found that Cohen’s words also helped them in life with their response, “Thank you for the motivation to get my physical therapy exercises done. Sh**’s scary but it will make things better👏👏.”
And although @aylahessels had a sad story to share, they remained positive and were also inspired by what General Hospital’s Cohen had to say, stating, “I love this. I can actually relate to this. I got diagnosed with an incurable disease last summer and I never let it take me down. It actually motivated me to write a book ❤️.”
Success stories are all over, and Cohen has helped inspire people to continue striving for their dreams in life. Now, if General Hospital would just write a good story for Griffin, he’d fulfill the fans’ dreams even more! (Find out how Cohen almost ended up on a CBS soap.)
