General Hospital alum Kimberly McCullough celebrates her icy birthday

Although General Hospital’s Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) may be the talk of Port Charles since she learned she was Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) daughter, let’s not forget about her half-sister, Robin Drake-Scorpio. Kimberly McCullough originated the role in 1985 when she was only seven years old, and viewers watched Robin grow up on the series. The actress has gone on to become a TV director as well, and despite her packed schedule, she took time to have some birthday fun.

Keep calm and birthday on

General Hospital alum Kimberly McCullough shared a selfie on Instagram of her standing by what looks like the calm, shallow part of a river. She wrote, “Starting out my birthday week right with a swim in the ice cold river of Ojai. This Pisces girl needs to be in the water to sustain life and mental clarity.” The river is actually the Ventura River, which runs through Ojai Valley in California. The town of Ojai is famous for its annual music festival.

@michael_anton1983 is also a Pisces and lovingly shared the comment, “I love it, Kimberly. Happy birthday to you from one ♓️ to another ♓️!!! 🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎂🎊🎊🎊.” Another fan, @amysevensky also shared something in common with the former General Hospital star, remarking, “My birthday week too. Mines today!!!! Happy early birthday!!!!!❤️.”

@marie.sheeran had a high compliment for McCullough, writing, “You look amazing I swear you age backwards and Happy Birthday🔥🔥🔥.” As many fans do when soap stars post on social media, @monbea pleaded for the actress’ return with, “Happy Birthday Kimmie! 🎉🎉🎊🎊🎈🎈🎁🎁🎂🎂 Your gift is to come back to GH❤️.”

Another follower, @imrosaliec, responded with a request, “Happy birthday! Now please come back to GH, your daughter is a nightmare 😂 @kimmeabreak.” The fan was referring to Robin’s daughter Emma who was originally played by Brooklyn Rae Silzer. The part was recently recast with Braedyn Bruner taking over, and moving Emma into a darker place as she’s a bit of a troublemaker on General Hospital.

Although her intentions can be good, this iteration of Emma likes to walk on the dark side and give her grandmother, Anna (FInola Hughes) a world of grief. She could really use Robin back in her life to help reset her onto the straight and narrow path.
