Evildoers beware: Sonny’s going to unleash vengeance upon all of his enemies on General Hospital

Over the decades, many people on both sides of the law have tried to take down General Hospital’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). So far, they’ve all failed. However, a few of his enemies have dealt severe blows, including attempts to kill him that resulted in the deaths of loved ones like his wife Lily (Lilly Melgar) and son Morgan (Bryan Craig). Recently, what appears to be another attempt to blow up Sonny has resulted in a fiery catastrophe for his other son, Michael (Chad Duell), and the Godfather of Port Charles must retaliate with extreme prejudice.

It’s time for Sonny to clean house

As of this writing, it hasn’t fully been revealed that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was responsible for the explosion in Sonny’s penthouse that set Michael on fire in a horrific scene. However, just before it, he seemed to be awaiting something while gazing at Port Charles from his newly purchased home on Spoon Island, Wyndemere Castle. At this stage of the game, Sonny won’t know who it was that hit him, but he’ll have to hit back swiftly and without hesitation to exact vengeance on all of his enemies.

Sonny must be ruthless in his quest for retribution and leave no stone unturned. Of course, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will go to the top of the list, and while he may torture her to find out if she’s guilty, chances are he’ll realize that not even she would be crazy enough to try to blow him up.

WSB station chief Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) saw who stabbed Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in Rice Plaza through surveillance footage and may have already identified the perpetrator as Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). But Sonny doesn’t know this, and it doesn’t make any difference because he can easily have Cyrus disappear without a trace — as he should.

Sonny may want to eliminate Ms. Selina Wu (Lydia Look) of the Triad and her main henchmen, just to be sure. They have a tenuous alliance, but this catastrophic disaster should have Ms. Wu diving for cover. For that matter, Sonny should take out any remnants of the other five families for good measure. This would include the Novaks and any of their Five Points Gang; the Russian Bratva, of which leader Serge (Max E. Williams) is already dead; and remnants of the Cosa Nostra, whose leader Charles Buscema (Bart Tangredi) has already been dispatched.

It’s possible that someone related to other crime families like the Alcazars, the Zaccharas, or the Jeromes (including Olivia (Tonja Walker), who’s still alive in prison) may still be kicking around looking for revenge. They’ll have to watch their backs because a true house cleaning means every speck and smudge must be dealt with fully and completely.
