General Hospital fans have become intrigued by Eva LaRue’s character Natalia now that it's revealed that she used to be married to the villainous Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
That secret is just a time bomb waiting to obliterate her life, especially since the baddie is gunning for Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) waterfront property. In real life, the fans love LaRue, but she put out a dire warning on social media about scams committed in her name.
General Hospital star has a message for fans

LaRue recently shared a video on Instagram, writing:
"Don’t Get Scammed! My Facebook Page was hacked about 5 months ago with NO help from FB. Please don’t get scammed! They have been reaching out directly to the followers of my page pretending to be me, trying to sell personal meet & greets, and phone calls from me, and special subscriptions. NONE of it is me!
"Please, please report the page as fraudulent if you can, hopefully they will just take it down so that no one else is ripped off, I have totally given up all hope of getting it back anyway," La Rue continued. "Also, this is the ONLY Instagram page I have, all others are imposters and cons. Thank you sooo much for your support!! Love you all."

Fraudulence needs to be reported

In her video, LaRue sent out a plea to her fans with, “Hey, I have a big favor to ask. So, 5 months ago my Facebook page got hacked, and these creeps are stealing money from my followers. They're doing these subscriptions. They're reaching out to people directly and trying to sell fake phone calls with me, fake meet and greets with me.”
As if that wasn’t frustrating enough, she explained that Facebook itself is useless in these matters, stating “They're just stealing money from people. And as I'm sure you might know from Facebook, who does not care and has no customer service in case you've ever run up against Facebook, they won't help.”

She further requested that fans get on her Facebook page and report the fraudulence as soon as they spot it. Her rationale was that by getting enough people to report the scammers, their pages would be taken down. She also noted that fans doing their due diligence in reporting would be a good thing.
"My biggest fear is that people are being scammed for thousands of dollars," she said. "So, if you could please do me this big favor, I would love it, because none of it is me."
She explained that her only social media account is the Instagram one, in which she shared the warning and thanked fans. (Find out what LaRue thinks about working on GH.)
