Commish to commish: A General Hospital PCPD reunion

Two of General Hospital's most sought-after police commissioners recently shared a real-life reunion when Finola Hughes and Vinessa Antoine got together.

Hughes shared a snap of herself and Antoine on Instagram. Dedicated fans will remember that Antoine was the original actress to play Jordan Ashford. The actress began her GH tenure in 2014, playing Jordan until 2018.

"Spent the afternoon chatting with this absolute beauty and pillar of creativity!!" Hughes wrote. "I can’t tell you how AMAZING it was to spend time talking and cracking up! Love you always and forever."

Antoine's former GH co-stars, Wally Kurth and Michelle Stafford, were thrilled to see the picture. Kurth brings Ned Quartermaine to life, while Stafford, who is currently The Young and the Restless' Phyllis Summers, played Nina Reeves on GH from 2014 to 2019.

Antoine exited the GH scene six years ago to star in the Canadian series Diggstown, which ran from 2019 to 2022. Since then, he has appeared in a variety of movies and television series, including The Umbrella Academy, Plan B, All the Lost Ones, and The Wall Street Boy, according to IMDb.

Anna and Jordan became fast friends when they each found themselves with jobs at the PCPD at various times. After Jordan was revealed to be an undercover DEA agent, she lost her federal law enforcement job but gained a local one.

Anna had just ended a stint as Port Charles' police commissioner after allegedly killing Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise). Jordan was soon hired for the job but left the position to become deputy mayor in 2023. Anna is now the new-old police commissioner once again, still solving crimes with Jordan.

After Antoine departed GH, Briana Nicole Henry took on the role of Jordan and played the part when Jordan married Curtis Ashford. Henry chose to leave GH in 2021. Jordan was sent to a kidney clinic at the time following health issues after a transplant. When she returned, Tanisha Harper had assumed the role of Jordan.

Today, Jordan and Anna often consult on crimes and try to solve them together. If Anna one day leaves her police commissioner position, will Jordan apply for the job once again?
