Celebrate General Hospital alum Kristen Alderson’s major mommy milestone

General Hospital fans may recall that Kristen Alderson’s One Life to Live character star, Manning, moved over to Port Charles when that soap got canceled. That was short-lived due to a rights dispute over the characters, which ultimately got dismissed. However, before that, she was recast as Kiki Jerome and played the character until 2015. Since then, she’s gone off and created a wildly popular Twitch channel, as well as having a baby in January 2024 with her longtime fiance, Taylor Crousore. Now, her child Kiera has achieved an important milestone.

Little feet, big adventures

Alderson excitedly shared quite a few snaps on Instagram, and announced, “Kiera’s FIRST Birthday Party!💖✨. To say she had a great time is an understatement! Kiera LOVES to socialize and dance and HUG🥹. In true Kiera fashion she made sure to wave and spend time with every family member at the party🥰. Beyond grateful for our dancing, waving, clapping, cheesin’, funny, SMART, affectionate baby girl💖. I never thought I could love someone or anything as much as I love you💖.”

The pictures were plentiful, with the first one showing cute Kiera with bows in her hair, a flower in her hand, and a cute pink dress with “It’s My Birthday” emblazoned on it. Other pics include the cute kid eating cake, feeding mommy cake, and dancing and clapping to music. Other photos showed Kiera making goofy faces, hanging with the family, and hugging other kids in attendance. Probably the gifts Kiera loved the most were a toy cell phone, so she could be “busy” like her parents, and a pillow with her image on it.

Fans, family, and followers of the General Hospital alum sent Kiera many happy birthday wishes. @sarajabean was incredulous and commented, “How is it possible she is 1 already??” @nicrobuck thoroughly enjoyed the post, writing, “Cannot! Too cute 😍😍😍 happy birthday sweet girl! You are just like your mommy- throw the phone to the side to give out a kissie ♥️♥️♥️😘😘😘.”

@popculturepreserver shared their delight over the post, with the comment, “So happy we got to celebrate with you! Can’t get enough of that delicious little morsel! Happy Birthday Kiera Sky. We love you! ❤️🎉.” Another follower, @amanda_pennow, couldn’t believe their eyes, responding, “Happy birthday!!! 🥳 I can’t believe she’s one already, that’s so crazy!!.” And @brieemac replied, “Time flies !!!! 😢 happy first birthday ❤️ and congrats mom and dad on a year of happiness and parenting! 🫶🏼🩷.”

Fans continue to wonder whether Alderson will return to General Hospital as a different character (since Kiki was killed off), but for now, they'll have to live vicariously through her social media posts.
