As Sonny stares at the ground below from the General Hospital roof, he receives a very special visitor who once had his own mental health crisis in the very same spot.
A General Hospital ghostly encounter
After Molly accuses him of being responsible for Kristina's plunge into the pool that cost the life of the child she was carrying, Sonny makes his way up to the GH roof, where he remembers all the other things his family has blamed him for over the last few months. Did he really ruin so many lives?
GH previews show Sonny telling an unknown person that he sees the person, but the person is not really there. That someone will likely turn out to be Morgan, since Bryan Craig is expected to make his one-day return on August 6.

When Craig was approached about a brief return stint, it didn't take him long to make up his mind. He couldn't wait to have the chance to work with on-screen dad Maurice Benard again. In fact, he surprised Benard on set before their scenes were set to tape.
Back on the GH set
"While Mo was filming, I went behind the camera," Craig told Soap Opera Digest. “And when they yelled, 'Cut!' I pretended to be the director and gave him a note. I was like, 'Yeah, that was great. So, uh, if you could just suck a little less on the next go-round, that would be great.' And he recognized my voice and turned toward the cameras and started laughing. So that was fun!"
Craig wasn't sure how Morgan would fit into the story when his agent first heard from GH, but he was ready to roll with whatever he was given.
"I didn’t know [exactly what they wanted], so I was just kind of prepared whatever the director said they wanted to go with, because there are so many different ways it could have gone, depending on how they wanted it to fit into the scenes," he explained. Of the finished product, Craig says, "The stuff we filmed went great. It was really powerful, and we were both really in it."
Longtime fans will remember that Morgan also made his way up to that roof in 2016 after he blamed himself for Kiki being shot. He tried to jump, but Sonny was the one who literally talked his son off the ledge. Is Morgan about to do the same for his father?
