Brook Lynn and Lulu Face-Off, Jason's 'Deadbeat Dad' Diagnosis: General Hospital stars offer storyline previews

General Hospital is getting ready for a big few weeks ahead as the show moves into May sweeps and the Nurses' Ball is just around the corner. The show recently released a video with stars dropping a few big hints on what's ahead for their characters. Hear what they have to say.

Is Lulu about to cause more chaos?

Last week, Lulu (Alexa Havins) learned that not only has Sonny (Maurice Benard) been a benefactor for Gio (Giovanni Mazza) for most of the young man's life, but Gio was also born in California, where Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) gave birth to her baby.

We could see the wheels turning in Lulu's head as she started putting the pieces together. According to Amanda Setton, this storyline is about to heat up big time.

"Brook Lynn has a lot coming down the pike," the actress said. "We've seen some of it unfold so far, but in the next few months, a lot is going to come to light that she's going to have to process and face."

Indeed, Brook Lynn is set to confront Lulu any day when she shows up at her new front door to ask her longtime enemy what she's really up to. Is Lulu ready to be the one to give Brook Lynn a clue to her son's identity?

Jason Morgan steps up

We've seen a new kind of Jason Morgan over the last six months or so since Sam (Kelly Monaco) died. This week, we are about to see more of the character's transformation, something Steve Burton is looking forward to.

"Let's be real, Jason's been a deadbeat dad for a long time, so he's trying to turn over a new leaf and be there for his kids," Burton said. "Choosing the kids over the business because family is so important."

When Jason decided to move back home to the Quartermaine mansion after decades away, we knew a big change was coming. When Jason takes Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) to the batting cage this week and has a heart-to-heart with his son, it will be another big step for the mob enforcer.

General Hospital stars deliver their wish list

Some GH stars know what they want to see for their characters, even if their wishes don't come true.

Donnell Turner would love to see Portia and Curtis expand their family. "I would love for us to have a baby," he said. "I'm just saying that would be fun."

Brook Kerr agreed, noting it would be nice to see Portia focus on anything other than protecting Trina.

Finola Hughes has a vision of the PCPD finally putting Port Charles criminals away.

"I'd really like the PCPD to get some real legs and maybe solve some fantastic crime," she said. "I just have this vision of having a noteboard connecting all the dots, like having a string that goes from here to here."

John J. York (Mac Scorpio) and Kristina Wagner (Felicia Scorpio), who have been fighting crime in Port Charles for decades, are always ready for new shockers to come.

"It's that element of surprise where you just don't know what's going to come next, and that's what makes it fun," Wagner said.

York concurred, saying, "I'm always looking forward to what comes next. People always say, 'Well, what was your favorite storyline?' What if I haven't had it yet?"
