Get a sneak peek at Perez Hilton on General Hospital
Gossip king Perez Hilton's General Hospital appearance finally takes place on July 24, as Blaze and Kristina go on the record about their relationship.
Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., the gossip columnist, blogger, and media personality known as Perez Hilton, taped his GH appearance back in June. At the time, there was no word on what Hilton would be doing during his cameo appearance as himself, but we now know.
When Ava gave the Invader a recording of Natalia's homophobic remarks about her daughter, Allison "Blaze" Ramirez, and Kristina Corinthos-Davis, she inadvertently outed Blaze, a singer who had not gone public with her sexual orientation.
The backlash Blaze received for staying in the closet upended her career, but now she and Kristina want to tell their story. As Blaze's manager, Brook Lynn set up an interview for Blaze and Kristina with Hilton. The day before the big debut, Hilton, along with Kate Mansi and the official GH social media accounts, couldn't contain their excitement about the appearance.
Mansi took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a TikTok video of Hilton breathlessly watching Nina coach Kristina and Blaze for their interview.
"Happy airdate #perezhilton!!" Mansi tweeted with the video. "Was so impressed with his talent and focus- hoping you visit me in Port Charles soon!"
She also posted a behind-the-scenes snap of herself and Hilton, saying, "Our team and set designer KILLED it for this #perezhilton set!"
The official GH Instagram account also previewed the appearance, sharing a photo of Hilton in action interviewing Blaze and Kristina.
"On Wednesdays we wear pink and #PerezHilton takes over @GeneralHospitalABC!!" the show wrote. "No one is safe! You must tune in!!! Tomorrow. July 24th. On @ABC or stream on @Hulu! 📺 #GeneralHospital #GH"
Hilton himself tweeted a photo of a plaque outside the GH studio that congratulated the show on the 25th anniversary of Luke and Laura's wedding in 2006.
"I will forever be a part of Port Charles history! Iconic!!! You must watch! Me. @GeneralHospital. Wednesday, July 24th. On @ABCnetwork or stream on @Hulu," he wrote.
