Krazy Kristina's dirty dig at Molly leaves General Hospital fans furious

General Hospital's Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) really put her foot in it this time, but she doesn't seem to care. Delusional and convinced she was the victim of a heinous crime, she feels she has nothing left to lose and is ready to do and say whatever she wants — even if it hurts her sister.

Kristina's descent into madness

From the moment Kristina learned that Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ (Tajh Bellow) had fertility problems and decided she should be their surrogate, she has had her sister on defense. Molly and TJ balked at the idea of Kristina carrying their child from the start, but after their first surrogate miscarried, Molly gave in, and Kristina quickly became pregnant with TJ's child.

Alexis warned her girls that things would get touchy, especially when Kristina started becoming attached to the baby she was carrying. She had promised this baby to Molly and TJ but changed her mind along the way and didn't even bother telling them. Instead, she had custody papers drawn up and planned to keep the baby for herself.

Just two weeks before little Irene was due to make her entry into the world, Kristina proved that Molly and TJ were right to doubt her all along. She recklessly confronted Ava (Maura West) in her hotel room over a subpoena, resulting in Kristina tripping over a duffle bag and falling out the window into the pool below. Kristina claimed Ava pushed her out the window on purpose, but the jury didn't believe her and now Ava is a free woman.

Molly also believed Ava's version of things. She grieved as much as Kristina did but in her own way. After the trial, she felt it was time to move on and asked Kristina to do the same. Nope, instead, Kristina had to show how self-involved and cruel she could be by telling Molly that the reason Molly could move on when she could not was because she was never really the baby's mother. To add insult to injury, Kristina used the name Adela, which she planned to call the baby after stealing her from Molly and TJ.

The second Kristina uttered those words, the GH fandom went wild, and Kristina became public enemy number one.

General Hospital fans are gunning for Kristina

Kristina may never be able to redeem herself after her cold, heartless words which even shocked Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Molly tried to be as nice as she could to Kristina after just losing their older sister Sam (Kelly Monaco), but Kristina did not care.

"The way Kristina can act all high and mighty to Molly after she planned on keeping Tolly’s child and was also the reason for her death is just WHOA!!!," X (formerly Twitter) user @MichelleRFair wrote.

@GeneralStar489 is appalled that Kristina would say such a thing and understands if Molly cuts all ties.

"That was probably the most heartless and Coldest thing Kristina could have said to Molly, she just gave Molly a reason not to want to have anything to do with her. Also cruelly adding in Adela," they tweeted.

After Kristina uttered those words, Molly just about had it, telling Kristina she was done before she quietly and stoically walked away.

"Molly calmly says 'I’m done.' I want that to be true," tweeted @crimsonrun. "I want her to do everything in her power to make Krissy’s life miserable. I don’t want her to ever say a nice thing to Kristina again."

@dinkologist wished Molly had never apologized to Kristina for saying she never loved Irene if she was going to get a reaction like that from her sister.

"Molly apologizing to Kristina is disgusting. And that brat is still being awful," they wrote on Blue Sky.

Are the parents to blame?

Some fans wonder if turning Kristina into a cold shrew is exactly what GH is going for. She might be more like her father than any of Sonny's (Maurice Benard) many children.

"Kristina has become one of THE worst and nastiest characters on #GH," Blue Sky user @twinfangirl wrote. "I have not liked this version of Kristina one bit. I think they really are trying to write her like a female version of Sonny because she is definitely his child. She's vindictive just like him."

@matchboxginny blames both Sonny and Alexis for Kristina's "woe is me" attitude.

"I thought you could hear my eye rolls when Alexis and Sonny were coddling poor little insufferable, bratty, selfish Kristina for the millionth time," she wrote on Blue Sky.

@Danteisavibe summed things up perfectly by retweeting a photo of Kristina's enabling parents gathered around her after the verdict was read.

"The two reasons why Kristina is the way she is," he said.
