General Hospital's Drew has made it crystal clear how he really feels about his (not-so-identical) twin brother Jason when he lied to the police about Jason's whereabouts when Cyrus was murdered. While Cameron Mathison has tried to defend his character's personality overhaul, he now wonders which brother may be the problem.
Who is the General Hospital evil twin?

When Mathison appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show recently with several other GH stars, the host asked the Port Charles players which one of them had a character with an evil twin. Finola Hughes logically raised her hand as Anna has a presumed dead evil twin named Alex, but Mathison also raised his hand, claiming Jason was Drew's evil twin.

"I regretted it," said in an interview with TV Insider. "I should have said, ‘I’m the evil twin. Drew thinks Jason’s the evil twin, but he’s not."
The change in Drew's not easy on Mathison

Drew is now living his life under the assumption that Jason (Steve Burton) is the bad guy who could do no wrong in their family's eyes while Drew is just misunderstood and treated unfairly. He thinks he got the short end of the stick when Susan Moore chose to give one of her twin boys up. Perhaps he did. He was placed in foster care and later, in an orphanage, while Jason grew up in the lap of luxury as a Quartermaine until a fateful car accident sent Jason's life in a completely different direction.
Drew also seems to be going in a totally new direction as all that resentment has turned him into an unrecognizable character who is nothing like the man who was married to Sam (Kelly Monaco) or who returned from dead three years ago. Now, Mathison has to adjust to playing the heavy and not the hero, something he was used to doing all the years he brought All My Children's Ryan Lavery to life.
"I have had trouble," Mathison said. "I’ve needed help. I’ve needed help from the writers… I’ve needed help from the executive producer, Frank [Valentini]… I’ve gone in many times… but, now, I’m all in. It’s hard. I had to say things that were so hard for me to say. I’ve been given a little bit of an arc [of what’s coming up], which helps me."
Will Drew ever see the error of his ways and be given a redemption arc? Time will tell...
