Sidwell announced new game rules to Anna, Jason, Lucky, and Holly. If Jason won a card game, Jason and Anna would get to live. If Lucky won, then Lucky and Holly could live. If Sidwell won, they would all die.
Holly quickly spoke up, appearing to throw Lucky, Jason, and Anna under the bus as she begged for her life. Sidwell remained furious. Sidwell had his goons take Anna and Holly away before cuffing Lucky and Jason's chairs to the card table.
Sidwell sat down to play but was quickly called away, leaving Jason and Lucky alone. Jason explained to Lucky that he was there specifically to bring Lucky home. Lucky insisted he could take care of himself, so Jason finally gave Lucky devastating news: Lulu needed a liver transplant, and Lucky could be her only hope.
Before Lucky had a chance to absorb the information, Sidwell returned for a consequential card game. Jason quickly folded so Lucky could win. Sidwell had the guards take Jason away, marveling how Holly always landed on her feet.

Once alone in a cell with Holly, Anna wondered why Holly had not tried helping Lucky before. Holly explained that she'd had no idea he was needed to donate part of his liver to Lulu. Holly was angry that Anna and Jason had ruined all her plans to gain millions from Sidwell.
Anna was convinced that she would die and Holly would live, so she asked Holly to have Robert tell Robin how much Anna loved her. Holly later told Anna that her marriage to Robert had been "the sweetest time in my life." Anna noted that Robert seemed content with Holly.
"But Robert can never be happy again if you die here. I just can't figure out a way to prevent it," Holly admitted. Just then, the guards arrived and threw Jason in the cell while dragging Holly out. Jason apologized to Anna for losing the game. "I knew you would," Anna said knowingly. Anna soon became hysterical, wondering if they were going to die. Jason tried calming Anna down before throwing caution to the wind and kissing her.
Back in the card room, Sidwell was ready to play another game while threatening Holly. Finally, Holly smacked Sidwell across the face as Lucky raced to unlock his cuffs. Holly grabbed Sidwell's gun, but Sidwell knocked it out of her hands just as Lucky got his cuffs off.
Stella met up with a pensive Tracy in the park. As Stella raved about the weather, Tracy sat there with a sour look on her face. Tracy was annoyed that Stella had arrived for their meeting on time, which Tracy considered late.
A frustrated Stella knew that Tracy wasn't actually angry about punctuality. Tracy finally admitted she was annoyed with two members of the Quartermaine staff for being "insubordinate and ill-mannered." When Tracy explained that Sasha had thrown a brunch for Cody's family, Stella agreed staff shouldn't do such a thing on the job. However, Tracy had to admit that the brunch had occurred during Sasha and Cody's day off.
Stella immediately knew that Tracy's real problem boiled down to how she felt about Cody. Tracy quickly denied having romantic feelings for Cody. Stella said she didn't think so, but she could understand if Tracy did feel that way. "That Cody's a tall drink of water," Stella joked.
Stella understood that Tracy thought of Cody as a good friend and didn't want anyone to take her place, including Sasha and Mac. Stella pointed out that Tracy had lost two friends that year, Finn and Gregory. Stella knew Tracy was going through a hard time and didn't want to lose another friend. Tracy finally admitted that Cody reminded her of Luke.
Stella and Tracy continued their chat, talking about old friends, family, and romances. Tracy eventually apologized for the way she had acted, and she hoped Stella would want to meet again. "You still don't recognize it, do you? A good friend when they're sitting right next to you," Stella said with a smile.
James arrived at the Quartermaine stables for his riding lesson, interrupting a close moment between Sasha and Cody. Sasha made herself scarce so James and Cody could spend bonding time together. James questioned Cody about his relationship with Sasha. Cody told James that Sasha was someone who believed in him when he didn't believe in himself.
Later, Cody and Sasha started to have sex on the table in the stables just as Tracy walked in and got an eyeful.
In the Quartermaine solarium, Drew and Ned argued about Valentin's status. Like Michael, Drew rubbed Ned's decision to team up with Valentin in Ned's face. "We've all made mistakes, Drew, including you," Ned said.
Drew insisted that ELQ needed a new CEO. Ned thought it should be him, but Drew wanted Michael to take over. Ned and Drew continued to argue, with Ned pointing out that Drew had only adopted the Quartermaine last name to run for office. Ned also reminded Drew about his legal problems with the SEC.
Before things got too heated, Michael and Willow walked in. Drew said that he had suggested Michael as the new CEO of ELQ. Willow left for the boathouse so Michael could meet with Drew and Ned. Drew also made an excuse to leave, telling Ned and Michael to hash it out. When Drew was gone, Ned told Michael he trusted Michael but didn't trust Drew.
"I realize that Drew is a Quartermaine through and through...he is out for himself and he is going to take what he wants...Michael, your intentions may be pure, but that doesn't mean Drew's are. I will never fully trust him. If you were smart, you wouldn't, either," Ned said.
Later, Ned had a few moments alone with James, who asked him if he kissed people on the lips. Ned admitted that yes, he did, but only his wife, Olivia. James noted that Maxie and Spinelli liked to kiss, but he wondered something. "If kissing makes people happy, then why would one make Willow sad?" James asked a surprised Ned.
When Ned asked James to explain himself some more, James obliged. "I heard Willow telling Aunt Nina that she felt guilty about kissing Drew," James said matter of factly.
Drew later ended up at the boathouse, knowing Willow would be there. Willow was not happy to see Drew, but he wanted to apologize for ruining her date with Michael. Willow finally told Drew how she felt. "I've continually asked you to stay away, and it's like you don't care," Willow said.
Willow admitted she had feelings for Drew, but they made her feel like "absolute crap." Drew didn't want Willow to feel that way. "Then stop it. Stop running into me and checking on me. Drew, I need you to leave me alone," Willow said. She once again had to ask Drew to stay away from her, and he finally got the hint and walked away.
