In Somalia, Sidwell admitted that he was amazed by how Lucky kept winning at poker. Sidwell said he took comfort in knowing that Lucky would lose eventually, and then Sidwell could kill Lucky. Sidwell soon announced that Lucky's luck had just run out, but a goon interrupted them before Sidwell could follow through on the threat.
While Sidwell spoke to his goon, Lucky played with the cards to ensure he'd win. On the other side of the room, the goon told Sidwell the diamond mines were running low. Sidwell suddenly shot the goon and ordered Lucky to search the dead man. Lucky rummaged through the goon's pockets, where he found raw diamonds. Lucky handed the diamonds over to Sidwell. Moments later, a goon entered the cell to fetch Sidwell. After Lucky was handcuffed to the chair and left alone, he pulled out a small raw diamond from his sleeve and smiled.
In Port Charles, Jordan sat with Anna in Anna's office and recounted how she had apprehended the man who had planned to kill Isaiah. Jordan was still determined to know who the "John Doe" patient really was. Anna assured Jordan that as soon as she learned something, Anna would let Jordan know. After Jordan left, Jason appeared at the door.
Anna wanted to know if Jason was there to gloat that Alexis was a suspect in the John Cates murder case, but Jason had had no idea that Alexis had been brought in for questioning. Jason was confused as to why the police thought Alexis would know anything about the murder.
Jason said he was there because he knew Anna had wanted to talk to him earlier. Anna told Jason that she'd thought they had had some sort of alliance and had become friends. Jason agreed they worked well together, and he assured Anna that he had never told Sonny that Anna had helped Valentin escape.
Jason was surprised at how cold Anna was and asked her for one minute so he could state his case. "You're basing your evidence on a missing registered weapon," Jason pointed out.
Anna knew what Jason was trying to tell her. "Sonny would never have used a gun that was legally his own to murder someone, is that what you're saying?" Anna asked. Jason stressed that Sonny wasn't stupid. Anna said that her gut was telling her that Sonny had killed John. Just then, Anna got a call and learned that Isaiah was awake, so she left for the hospital.
As Elizabeth attended to Isaiah, he suddenly woke and blurted out the word "lucky." When Elizabeth told Isaiah that he was in the hospital in Port Charles, Isaiah told Elizabeth his name and said that Lucky was his friend and had sent him there. He asked if Elizabeth knew Lucky, which threw Elizabeth for a loop. "How do you know Lucky Spencer?" she asked.
Before Isaiah could answer, T.J. entered the room and told Elizabeth that she was needed at the nurse's station. Elizabeth quickly called Carly and told her the news about Lucky, not realizing that Carly was already at the hospital visiting Lulu. T.J. examined Isaiah as Isaiah asked detailed medical questions about his condition. T.J. immediately knew Isaiah was a doctor. After T.J. left, Carly arrived and introduced herself as Lucky's cousin.
In the hallway, Elizabeth ran into Anna. Elizabeth sent her to Isaiah's room before Jason got off the elevator. Elizabeth told Jason about her new patient. She was surprised when Jason said he was the one who had found Isaiah. Elizabeth told Jason that Isaiah knew Lucky, shocking Jason.
When Anna made it to Isaiah's room, Isaiah explained how he had ended up in Port Charles. Isaiah said he had been providing medical aid overseas when he'd met Lucky, who had helped procure supplies. Isaiah informed Anna that he'd been abducted by a man named Sidwell, a name that Anna recognized. Isaiah said that Sidwell was a hypochondriac who had ordered Isaiah to be his doctor.
After she visited with Isaiah, Anna found Jason and Elizabeth outside the room, so she let them know that they could see Isaiah. Jason insisted on talking to Anna alone first. After Elizabeth went to talk to Isaiah, Jason assured Anna that when he worked with Anna, things stayed between him and Anna. Jason also said that when he worked with Sonny, things stayed between him and Sonny.
Anna was disappointed that Jason refused to abandon Sonny. Jason said he would still like to work with Anna and help her when needed because he considered her a friend. "I wish I felt the same," Anna said.
In Isaiah's hospital room, Isaiah continued his story and revealed that Lucky had tried to rescue him, but Lucky had ended up stuck in Sidwell's compound. Isaiah shared that Lucky had told Isaiah to try to get to Port Charles and get in touch with the WSB. Isaiah also told Carly exactly where Lucky was being held. Carly immediately took off to see Brennan, as Isaiah explained how he had ended up being run down by a car.
Isaiah said he'd immediately known someone had been watching him at the airport. He had rented a car but he'd realized that he'd still been followed, so he'd gotten out of the car and started running. Before he'd gotten far, he'd been hit by a car.
When Elizabeth visited Isaiah, she revealed that she and Lucky had once been married and shared a son named Aiden. Elizabeth looked terrified when Isaiah told her that he had never seen Lucky in so much trouble.
Later, Carly arrived at Brennan's office and asked for his help. "I need you to find the exact location of my cousin Lucky," Carly said. Brennan rattled off the information he had given Laura, but Carly wanted him to be more precise—immediately. Brennan agreed to try but couldn't guarantee he could locate Lucky.
After Anna's office, Jordan's next stop was Drew's office. Drew could tell that Jordan was distracted by something, so she told him what had happened at the hospital. Drew was duly impressed. Drew said he could also tell that Jordan enjoyed doing police-like work again.
Molly frantically called Diane from Alexis' living room to tell her that the cops had taken Alexis to the station. When Michael and Kristina returned, Molly told them Alexis was being questioned about John's murder.
Molly explained that Alexis had been seen throwing a gun off the footbridge. Kristina tried to respond, but Michael gave her a look. Molly caught the look and knew Michael was trying to stop Kristina from talking. Molly demanded that Kristina say what she knew. "Kristina, I am not an idiot," Molly said.
Molly was incredulous when she learned that Kristina had been at the baby's grave the night before. Molly was certain that Kristina was hiding something, but she left to talk to T.J. Molly arrived at T.J.'s office, raging about Kristina. "My mom is at the police station right now, and I think she's about to be arrested for something Kristina did," Molly said.
Molly told T.J. what had happened when the police had arrived at Alexis' place. She said she could also tell Kristina and Michael were hiding something. "Michael? The same guy that gives TED Talks whenever someone isn't honest with him about truth and honesty? That Michael?" T.J. asked. Molly said she thought all the circumstantial evidence pointed toward Kristina being the one who had killed John.
Back at Alexis' house, Kristina asked Michael why he hadn't allowed her to tell Molly the truth. Michael stressed that the truth would get Kristina and Sonny in trouble. However, Kristina insisted she had to do something to help Alexis. Michael tried to assure Kristina that Alexis would be fine without her.
Kristina had one question. She knew she hadn't killed John and was sure Alexis hadn't done it, but she knew Molly didn't believe her. "What about you? Why do you believe me?" Kristina asked Michael. All Michael could tell Kristina was that he knew she wasn't capable of killing another human being. Michael also warned Kristina she would soon be questioned. He made Kristina promise to keep her mouth shut about the gun.
