General Hospital's Drew Quartermaine has managed to become the most reviled man in Port Charles — both to his fellow citizens and the audience.

Drew makes an enemy of everyone

The former Navy SEAL turned congressman who allegedly still has the memories of a hit man is on everyone's naughty list after sleeping with his nephew's wife and seeing nothing wrong with his actions. He also betrayed his best friend and convinced Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to bar Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) from seeing their critically ill son in a burn unit. Let's not forget that he slept with Willow's mother, and neither Drew nor Nina (Cynthia Watros) have seen fit to inform Willow yet.

Through it all, Drew has remained pompous and unapologetic. Whenever someone calls him out, he just makes excuses for his actions. According to Drew, he and Willow have something real, so that justifies everything he has done.

With so many people hating one reviled character, it's only a matter of time before someone comes gunning for him. This is a soap opera, after all.

As Drew roams around Port Charles ticking off everyone he comes in contact with, it looks more like Drew is going to find himself with a bullet in his chest sooner rather than later, setting up a whodunit plot that will keep fans guessing.

With Cameron Mathison not set to leave GH any time soon, we suspect Drew will survive a bullet wound, so perhaps this can be a wake-up call for Drew to change his ways. Drew has been quite different since he returned from the dead in 2021, but he was still well-liked by his friends and some family members. Now, he's been kicked out of the Quartermaine house and can't even get himself a room at the Metro Court after angering the owners, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Carly. Drew should be looking over his shoulder 24/7.

The usual suspects

With so many people furious at Drew, the list of possible suspects in a shooting mystery seems to be growing, but here are a few people who might want to take Drew down.

Willow Tait Corinthos

Willow might think that Drew walks on water now, but when he destroys her life even more with ridiculous advice that could cost her custody of her children, her mind might change. Learning that Drew slept with her mother for months won't help Drew's case. Besides, Willow seems more unhinged every day — and an unhinged character with a gun is dangerous indeed.

Nina Reeves

Nina made her feelings for Drew loud and clear after Michael (Chad Duell) sustained his burns. Drew showed up at her door to talk about Willow, and Nina promptly slammed the door in his face. Her goal in life right now is exposing who Drew really is to Willow, and she is even thinking of coming clean about her affair with the man. However, if Drew does one more thing to set Nina off, she might just have to take desperate measures.

Carly Spencer

Carly and Drew were once in love — or at least they thought they were in love — and Carly believed they ended things as friends. She never expected Drew to have sex with her daughter-in-law and then try to keep Michael from his parents when they needed him most. Drew is now unrecognizable to Carly, and we're sure he will do more to make her animosity grow. Would Carly resort to attempted murder?

Tracy Quartermaine

Tracy (Jane Elliot) has just about had it with Alan's long-lost son who has proven he is not a loyal Quartermaine at all. Drew has always rubbed Tracy the wrong way, and nothing has changed. Tracy and Ned (Wally Kurth) were not above trying to blackmail Drew, so why not go a step further and try to kill him? We can definitely see Tracy doing this before Ned would even dare.

Jason Morgan

Jason (Steve Burton) had no problem beating his brother to a pulp when he learned that Drew and Willow slept together. He is also no stranger to shooting people. In fact, Jason has the best shot in town, so if he shoots Drew and Drew survives, it would mean that Jason Morgan is losing his touch — and that Jason truly is reverting to being a Quartermaine...
