When Molly arrived at Pentonville, she used her special privilege as an assistant district attorney to have physical contact with prisoners. Molly and Alexis quickly embraced before sitting down to discuss Alexis' case.

Alexis asked Molly not to abuse her power as a prosecutor, while Molly asked Alexis to do anything in her power to defend herself. Alexis told Molly that was the plan, but Molly begged to differ. "Not if you allow yourself to be sent to prison so that Sonny won't be," Molly said.

Alexis had faith in Marty to get her off, but Molly wasn't so sure. Alexis thought her best defense was to find the gun, but Molly didn't hold out much hope for that. Molly understood that Alexis keeping quiet about Sonny would prevent Kristina from losing it in court and putting herself in legal jeopardy. "You know deep down that if Kristina hasn't already ruined her life, she will soon. And then, all of your efforts would have been for nothing," Molly pointed out.

Alexis felt Sam and Molly could take care of Kristina while Alexis was behind bars. Molly refused. "I can't have a relationship with Kristina unless she starts taking responsibility for her actions," Molly said.

Alexis defended Kristina, saying she was suffering from postpartum depression. "I'm her mother. I'm her mother. I have to protect her. I wish you would understand," Alexis said. Molly took that as Alexis implying that only a mother would get it. Molly stood up and left.

At the other end of the visiting room, Heather met with Ric. Heather was grateful that Ric was even there. "I appreciate that you haven't given up on me because I haven't given up on me, either," Heather said.

While Heather had given up on the cobalt angle, she thought she could use the concerned mother defense. After all, Alexis had been arrested for killing to protect her daughter, and that was exactly what Heather had done—at least in Heather's mind. Ric reminded Heather that her case wasn't comparable to Alexis' case.

Heather quickly went back to the cobalt angle, insisting that had caused her to kill. "I was not born a serial killer, Ric. Something made me one," Heather declared.

Heather insisted that she felt different and just wanted to be with her grandson. "One day, Ace is going to know why I went to prison, and it can't be because I was a killer at heart. That can't be all I amount to," Heather cried.

When Alexis and Heather were back in their cell, Heather wanted to chat, but Alexis wasn't in the mood. Heather offered to look out for Alexis while she was behind bars, in exchange for having someone who believed in her. Heather admitted she admired Alexis for being a good mother. Alexis was touched and told Heather to have more blood tests done.

Trina arrived at the Jerome Gallery to hear all about Ava's legal troubles. Trina was stunned when Ava asked Trina to run the gallery while Ava dealt with her various court cases. Trina also surprised Ava when she said that she wasn't sure she could handle a full-time job and school.

Ava wondered if Trina was ready to move on and go back to college. Trina said she wasn't sure if she would ever be 100 percent ready, but she knew she had to make a move at some point.

After Trina left, Ric showed up to talk about Ava's case. He had found some details in her statement about Kristina's fall that could help him get the case tossed. Ric brought up not having good news for other clients, and Ava knew he meant Heather.

Ric wondered why Ava wouldn't have more sympathy toward Heather wanting a second chance, considering how many chances people had given Ava through the years. Just then, Ric received a text with Heather's latest test results. They proved that Heather had cobalt poisoning.

Ric explained what had happened with Heather's various tests. Ava found it interesting and wondered if someone could have tampered with the GH results.

Elizabeth was stunned when she turned around at Bobbie's and saw Lucky standing there as he had been all those years earlier when they had first met. Elizabeth even flashed back to that first moment nearly 30 years before.

When he told her that coffee stunted one's growth, Lucky harkened back to that time when they had been teens and he had told her cigarettes would stunt her growth. When Lucky told Elizabeth she hadn't changed a bit, Elizabeth opened her arms for an embrace. After their hug, Elizabeth ordered Lucky a BLT as they caught up on life.

Lucky congratulated Elizabeth on becoming head nurse. Elizabeth tried to leave, but Lucky asked her to sit and catch up some more. Lucky didn't want to talk about what had happened with Sidwell, but Elizabeth made him spill. Lucky chalked the whole thing up as no big deal. "I suggest you make it a big deal. It will make your son feel better knowing you were away for good reasons," Elizabeth said bluntly.

Elizabeth explained that Aiden was a good kid, but she asked Lucky to "handle him with care." Elizabeth pointed out that Lucky didn't know his son and that she knew Lucky was back for Lulu and not Aiden. Elizabeth knew not to assume Lucky was staying, and she didn't want Aiden to assume that, either. "I won't make him any promises I can't keep," Lucky said.

When Lucky and Elizabeth left for the hospital, Lucky complimented the "Bobbie's" sign that Elizabeth had made. He could tell she was the one who had painted it. "I'd know your brush stroke anywhere," Lucky told her.

Jason sat with Lulu and told her he was glad that he and Anna had been able to help bring Lucky home. When Jason went to leave, Dante was at the door. Dante thanked Jason for bringing Lucky home. Jason nodded and silently walked away.

At the elevator, Jason ran into Sam, who wanted to talk. Jason apologized for not talking to her before he had left for Africa. Sam admitted she would have overreacted if he had. Sam said she should have known he would have gone to Africa. "It's who you are, and I am grateful for that. And so are Dante and Rocco," Sam admitted.

As Jason and Sam chatted, Elizabeth and Lucky showed up for some awkward moments and looks. When Lucky went to get more bloodwork, Jason tried talking to Elizabeth. She quickly shut him up when she took him into her arms and thanked him for bringing Lucky home.

Lucky soon returned after another blood draw, and Jason left. Before Elizabeth began work, Lucky thanked her and said he had a good feeling about everything. "So do I," Elizabeth said with a slight smile.

While Dante sat with Lulu, Sam dropped in. She told Dante she'd had a good talk with Jason. Dante was glad to hear that Jason and Sam were turning a corner after Sam had been furious with Jason all year. "It's a work in progress," Sam admitted.

Brad and Portia literally ran into one another in the hospital halls. Portia found it unusual that Brad was working when he wasn't scheduled. Brad explained that he was covering for someone, and he didn't understand why Portia was being so hostile. He insisted he would do his job right. "I am not going to screw this up. I owe that much to Britt," Brad said.

Portia accused Brad of playing the "dead best friend card" to get Terry to hire him. Brad was taken aback by the accusation. He asked why Portia cared so much that he was working in the lab again. Portia flashed back to changing Heather's test results before telling Brad she didn't think he was responsible.

Curtis found Marshall at the Savoy and congratulated him on being offered a chance to tour with Wynton Marsalis. Curtis was stunned when Marshall said he had turned the gig down so he wouldn't have to leave Curtis and Port Charles. "You have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you're passing on that because of me?" Curtis asked.

Marshall insisted he could just play his clarinet at the Savoy. Marshall would also have to leave the next day, and Curtis needed someone to run the club. Curtis said he would become the Savoy's manager again. Marshall said he wasn't going to abandon his son when Curtis needed him like he had when Curtis had been a child. After going back and forth, Curtis finally convinced Marshall to accept the job.
