General Hospital's Jason has spoken. Jenz Sidwell said he did not plant the bomb in Sonny's penthouse that sent Michael to a German burn unit and Jason believed him. While Jason might be wrong, his declaration got fans wondering who the real culprit could be.
General Hospital's fire starter

While fans threw several names out there as possible guilty parties, including Valentin's, one name that caught fans' attention the most was Drew (Cameron Mathison). After all, he has it out for Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) and has made no secret of his desire to bring them down.
While it looks like Drew is just trying to use manipulation, lies, and his position as a congressman to get the job done, what if he tried murder first? He might not have even cared if Michael became collateral damage in his plan. Yes, Michael is his nephew, but Drew's disturbing obsession with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) has led him down a murky path.
Drew even made sure to get Willow and Wiley out of town to attend his congressional swearing-in ceremony. One fan believes that GH was trying to tell us something as we watched Michael burn.
"That’s what I have been saying," tweeted @AndrewMellein, referring to Drew. "Also the scene of Michael burning intercut with Drillow sex! They told us already who it is!"
@Coltongirlhardt hopes this is the case.
"Best be Drew as the culprit," they wrote. "GH just needs to go there with his character. You've convinced his obsession with Willow and disdain for his brother would drive him to such measures. He's psycho."
Other fans believe that GH had planned to make Sidwell the culprit, but then switched gears midway through the story.
"I'm willing to believe Sidwell was probably the original idea to have blown it up but the way Drew has drastically changed lately, the writers probably changed it to him," tweeted @Poundcake74. "He's gone full-blown villain."
Drew's descent into villainy

Maybe fans suspect Drew would do something so horrible and cruel because he has become the most hated man in Port Charles. The only person who thinks Drew can do no wrong is Willow while just about everyone else in town either wants to steer clear of the new congressman or bring him down.
In a little over a year, Drew has gone from an upstanding citizen to persona non grata. He's betrayed his family and friends, has teamed up with known criminal Sidwell (Carlo Rota), lied to the police about Jason's alibi, and resorted to blackmail as a revenge tactic.
However, if it turns out that Drew is responsible for Michael's burns, he will reach full-fledged villainy he can't come back from. What happens to the character after that could be deadly...
