General Hospital's Alexa Havins teases, 'Everyone's going to be mad at Lulu'

General Hospital's Lulu just won't stop. Luke and Laura's relentless daughter is determined to learn just what happened to Brook Lynn and Dante's baby when Brook Lynn gave the boy up at birth. Too bad she may cause more problems along the way.

Lulu (Alexa Havins) stumbled on the fact that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) became pregnant with Dante's (Dominic Zamprogna) child as a teenager and gave the baby boy up for adoption. Ever since then, she has been on a one-woman quest to either tell Dante the truth or find Dante's son. Brook Lynn has begged her to do neither, but Lulu has refused.

After learning that Gio (Giovanni Mazza) was born in California around the same time Brook Lynn gave birth in California, Lulu has become more obsessed with getting to the bottom of things than ever. She's now writing an adoption feature for the Llanview Banner. When Brook Lynn got wind of Lulu's new project, she confronted her, but Lulu wouldn't give up.

Alexa Havins knows that her character is on a collision course with disaster and is aware that fans are not happy with Lulu right now. However, things are about to get worse — and it could leave viewers furious.

"You’re just waiting for Lulu to blow it up, aren’t you?" Havins said in an interview with Woman's World. "She’s trying to be as thoughtful as she can in the situation, but little things keep pushing her towards the truth. I don’t know how mad everyone’s going to get at Lulu… but you are going to have a lot of fun, because there’s a lot of good drama coming!"

Still, Havins understands Lulu's motivations, even if she might be going about things the wrong way. She thinks she is helping her family.

"Even though the fans are not loving how she’s handling things, I always go back to why she’s doing what she’s doing," Havins explained. "Lulu’s not trying to manipulate this to get Dante back, which many people thought. The investigative journalist in her is seeking the truth, and this is not only about her love for Dante—her son has a half-brother out there. It’s an interesting predicament: How do you balance that search for truth without shattering lives?"

With the Nurses' Ball just a few short weeks away and Gio and Brook Lynn being such a large part of the event, it sounds like as good a time as any for the truth to come out in a big way. Stay tuned to find out if it does.
