Carly caught Josslyn up on the goings-on in Germany by phone. Carly was grateful that Jack had arrived up to make her life easier. After telling Joss that she was tense, Carly thought of Jack's spa invitation and announced she knew exactly what she needed.
Downstairs at the spa, Jack asked for some water, only to have Valentin wrap a cord around Jack's neck in an attempt to strangle him. "This is for Prague," Valentin whispered. "You tried to kill me in front of my daughter. Burn in hell, Jack," he added.
Jack was able to get Valentin off of him and get up, leading to a loud fight between the two men. Carly was just outside the door and heard the tussle. The attendant she was with chalked it up to nothing, but that didn't sit right with a confused Carly.
In the room, Valentin kept the cord around Jack's neck until he was unconscious on the floor. Before he could go in for the kill, Carly knocked a glass object over Valentin's head. Carly screamed for Jack to wake up and then made a threat that worked. "Jack, wake up, or I am going to tell the whole world that you died wearing your bathrobe," Carly said, prompting Jack to open his eyes. That's when they noticed Valentin had gotten away.

After Carly returned to her hotel room, Jack made a call to order Valentin killed on sight once he was found. He then knocked on Carly's door just as she was ready to sip a glass of wine. When Carly opened the door, Jack pulled her in for a passionate kiss.
Emma stopped by the Quartermaine mansion to see Gio. She was annoyed that Gio had been ignoring her texts. She wanted Gio to play the violin at another fundraiser she was planning to fight animal cruelty.
Gio finally agreed to play but jokingly wondered if the event was a scam for Emma to make a little extra cash. Emma quickly became angry. "Animal suffering is not a joke," she shouted. Gio apologized, as he didn't realize how serious of a topic this was for Emma. She explained that she volunteered at an animal shelter in her teens. After a lab bought some puppies, she began her work against animal cruelty.
Cody walked in and interrupted them. He was looking for Tracy to apologize for missing their morning ride. Gio advised Cody to wait until the next day to talk to Tracy because she was upset at the moment. Gio wasted no time telling Cody that Sasha was pregnant.
Outside the boathouse, Sasha told Jason that Michael knew she was pregnant. She claimed he was a good friend and one of the first people she had told. "Does he also know that he's the father?" Jason asked.
"I know that Tracy has no respect for other people's boundaries, but I never thought you'd be as invasive as she is," Sasha retorted. She informed Jason it was none of his business who the father was. When Sasha told Jason he was jumping to conclusions, Jason dropped a bomb: "Michael told me that he slept with you."
Sasha admitted that she and Michael ended up in bed together. "But that doesn't mean that Michael is the father. For all you know, I could have slept with a bunch of guys," she said. Jason doubted it and knew Sasha must have told Michael the truth before the fire. After all, he was asking for her from his hospital bed.
Jason said he only wanted to help, so Sasha had a suggestion. "If you want to help Michael, then you make sure that nobody else finds out that he is the father of my baby," Sasha said. Jason promised he wouldn't tell anyone.
Sasha told Jason she was mainly worried about what selfish thing Willow might do if she knew. "She denied Carly and Sonny access to Michael when he was in the burn unit. I have no doubt that she'd use my baby as proof of Michael's infidelity...I don't want Michael to lose his kids, and I will do whatever it takes to keep my baby away from the Qs," she explained. Sasha also didn't want Sonny to know because of his dangerous lifestyle.
Jason promised to help in any way he could. "Then do what Michael agreed to do and walk away," Sasha demanded. Jason assured Sasha he was on her side before she felt the baby move for the first time. An excited Sasha put Jason's hand on her baby bump. Neither one of them knew Cody was behind them watching.
Upstairs in the mansion, Brook Lynn was stunned when Chase told her that he was sterile. "I'm so glad that you can be a mother. I am. But, I'm never going to be a father," he said. Brook Lynn thought there had to be a mistake with the lab results, but Chase's doctor had checked the results twice.
Chase was in tears by the time Brook Lynn ran into his arms to give her sad husband a big ol' hug. Chase was kicking himself for being "arrogant," thinking that nothing could be wrong on his end. Brook Lynn was supportive, brushing off Chase's IVF suggestion. She called Chase everything she needed. Chase said he needed space and left the room to go on a walk. As soon as she was alone, Brook Lynn began sobbing.
Lois and Olivia took Tracy to the nail salon to help her relax. "No amount of buffing or soaking or acetone inhalation is going to make me forget that Sasha was foolish enough to get herself pregnant...She didn't even get a phone number from the rando she slept with," Tracy lamented.
As Lois and Olivia tried to get Tracy to pick a nail color, Tracy couldn't stop obsessing about Sasha. Olivia advised Tracy to "tone down the invasive questions." Tracy insisted that Sasha needed support to take care of a baby, so Lois logically suggested they give her support.
Just then, Marty walked in and made some snide remarks at Tracy. "I feel nothing but pity for whoever it is who's incurred your wrath now," Marty quipped. Tracy and Marty quickly entered into a sparring match. Marty brought up Tracy's stunt with Willow's kids. "You could care less about Wiley or Amelia. You had to hurt Drew, and you just had to have your way," Marty accused.
While Tracy and Marty continued their shouting match, Lois got a call from Brook Lynn. Her daughter was in tears and asked her to come home. Lois immediately headed back to the Q house so Brook Lynn could cry in her arms.
"Chase is sterile. Chase is the best man I have ever known. There can't be enough kids carrying his goodness in the world," Brook Lynn cried. Lois was supportive when Brook Lynn told her Chase brought up IVF before he left. Brook Lynn thought Chase was sacrificing his feelings so she could experience pregnancy. She wondered if she should tell her husband that she had been pregnant before.
Back at the nail salon, Tracy and Marty continued their argument while he enjoyed a pedicure. Tracy couldn't stop laughing when she realized Marty was still angry at her for interfering in his relationship with Lucy.
After a doctor's appointment, Anna ran into Lulu at the GH nurses' hub. It was the first time they had seen one another since Lulu had emerged from her coma. Anna brought up what happened in Prague. She was glad that nobody was hurt. "Me too. I'd hate for my daughter to get shot a second time," Lulu said.
Anna apologized to Lulu and admitted she could never forgive herself for what happened. Lulu said Valentin and Laura had said the same, stressing how guilty Anna felt. Lulu understood that the shooting was an accident. However, she blamed Charlotte's father. "Valentin is a bad father, and whenever he's around, bad things happen," Lulu said.
Portia approached the two women and asked to speak with Anna alone. Anna walked away with Portia, leaving Lulu alone to chat with Dante, who had just stepped off the elevator. Lulu updated Dante on her clean bill of health after her post-transplant checkup.
In Portia's office, Anna was stunned to hear about the Digitalis deaths. Anna told Portia about the term "Angel of Death" used to describe medical personnel who killed patients they believed should die. "Sometimes they feel they're alleviating suffering," Anna said.
Portia knew the term but explained that two of the patients were healthy, which made the case more confusing. Anna asked for the names of the patients. She went white when she learned they were Dex and Sam.
Back by the elevators, Dante was concerned that Lulu was doing too much and not taking care of herself. Lulu said she knew her presence was a complication after Sam's death, and Dante admitted that it was, but he was grateful she was there. Just then, Anna appeared and asked to speak to Dante.
Lulu tried walking away, but Dante asked that she stay. Anna agreed before telling Dante that Sam had been murdered.
