Tracy marched into the Q living room with an announcement. She got a judge to sign an order prohibiting Drew from using the Quartermaine name. Lois and Olivia didn't think that was a smart move, but Ned was proud of his mother. Lois worried about Scout, but Tracy assured Lois that Scout could keep the last name.

Gio went to bat for Scout. He liked having his father's last name and wanted Scout to have the same last name as her father so she felt she belonged. Ned even came around to Gio's point of view and tried convincing his mother that she made a wrong move.

Curtis met with Stella at the hospital nurses' station. Stella had some good news. "I think we have a way for you to take down Drew Quartermaine," she said. Her congressman friend had agreed to meet with Curtis, but it was up to Curtis to make the congressman see the kind of man Drew really was.

Drew showed exactly who he was as soon as he learned telling the truth could help his brother. All he had to do was tell the police that Jason was at his house when Cyrus disappeared.

"So, this is what it comes down to. You using my position as a congressman to cover up your crime?" Drew asked. Jason stood there in shock that his brother would say that, but Drew went even further. "At the time in question, I was at my house alone. Jason's lying," he stated while looking right into Jason's eyes. He even agreed to sign a sworn statement saying as much.

Drew then put on the concerned brother act. He understood why Jason threatened Cyrus. He was being protective of his son, but Drew could not in good conscience lie for his brother. When the ADA was called away, Carly took over. "You really won't tell the truth to help your brother?" she asked. Willow chimed in with, "Drew wouldn't lie about something like this."

An enraged Carly pointed out that Drew used to be a decent man, so Willow had to insist that he still was. Carly argued with Drew, begging him to tell the truth, but he refused to give in. Jason was charged and there was nothing Anna or Carly could do about it. Carly took one look at Willow and asked, "What the hell has happened to you?"

Willow kept insisting that Drew always tells the truth, so Carly gave her some food for thought. "Why would Jason pick Drew to be his alibi if he knew it wasn't true? he knows Drew wouldn't lie for him," Carly pointed out. Before Willow had a chance to think, Drew thought for her. He claimed Jason wanted to give him bad press for involving him in this case.

As Willow tried to defend Drew some more, Carly lost it and shouted, "Wake up! You are having an affair with a man who doesn't exist!"

As for Jason, he ended up right back at his perch in the interrogation room to meet with Diane. "An alibi? That's new," she said, considering Jason is usually guilty and does not have alibis. However, he was grateful to whoever killed Cyrus. "They saved me a lot of work," he said.

Jason insisted the evidence against him was planted. He didn't even know where Cyrus' cabin was. "Then that begs the question — who wants to frame you?" Diane asked. Jason deduced that he was an easy target to frame because he got careless and threatened Cyrus in public.

"I think your priorities have shifted. I think you have put being a dad over your work and when you saw Cyrus' hands on Danny, you went into full-on dad mode," Diane assessed. Jason knew someone used that against him. Later, Jason told Anna that they would never find Cyrus' body because he was killed by a pro who didn't leave tracks.

Outside the interrogation room, Anna informed Carly that Cyrus had also injected Michael with Digitalis. Carly wanted Cyrus' killer found immediately so she could thank them. The ADA soon approached Carly and asked her why she should believe a career criminal over a congressman. "Have you seen the people in Congress?" Carly asked. The ADA had to admit that Carly had a point.

Drew took Willow back to his house and went off on Carly. A confused Willow was blown away by Carly's words. "I couldn't believe Carly kept calling you...a liar?" Drew shrugged it off and blamed Carly for calling everyone liars these days.

It finally hit Josslyn that Jack really wanted her to become a WSB agent. She looked at him in disbelief. "I'm not a spy. I'm a college student," she reasoned. Jack explained that nobody starts out as an actual spy. There would be training. Joss still wanted to know why he was making this offer.

Jack told Joss that she possessed agent qualities. She was smart and could think on her feet. "Most of all, you want to make a difference in this world, don't you?" he asked.

Jack went on and on touting Josslyn's greatest attributes, including how she rescued Kristina from the pool with such finesse. Josslyn demonstrated self-awareness when she explained that she lost it at the PCPD and let Cyrus know the police were onto him.

Jack didn't care about any of that because rookies make mistakes. In the end, she found Cyrus' hideout and was resourceful enough to bring a gun and defend herself, which meant she would make the perfect spy in Jack's mind.

"We're looking for people who act in the shadows, quietly making this world a better place and who aren't looking for credit when they do," Jack told Joss as if he was recruiting for the Avengers. Josslyn understood how nuts this was so she repeated his words back to him using air quotes.

Jack yammered on, warning Josslyn that she couldn't even tell her mother she was a WSB agent — if she accepted the challenge, of course. Somehow, Jack managed to get Josslyn to see she "did something that mattered" when she killed Cyrus.

Jack explained to Joss that she wouldn't be the kind of WSB agent who killed people. They had other agents for that. Joss was going to be the undercover kind of agent. "As a college student, you can get into places older agents can't," he said. Josslyn wasn't sure she could turn Jack down. She feared if she did, Jack would make sure she went to jail for killing Cyrus.

Jack promised Josslyn that wasn't a factor here and that he'd never force her to join the WSB because "a coerced agent does me no good. In the end, Josslyn took Jack up on his offer and decided to become a spy — in memory of Dex.

"He was a really good man and led a really hard life, but all he wanted to do was help people, so I'll do it," Josslyn said. Jack was thrilled and informed Joss that she had to leave to spy school that night.

Trina and Kai continued painting and discussed what their work meant. Kai claimed that his painting was autobiographical. Trina finally asked Kai if she was the one who distracted him from playing his best because she kept him up the night before the game.

Kai assured Trina that his injury wasn't her fault, despite any ideas that Quinn may have put in her head. In fact, she has helped him. "I would be losing my mind not being able to play if it weren't for you," he said. When Trina was back on the step-stool painting, she tripped and fell into Kai's arms. Trina threw caution to the wind and pulled Kai in for a kiss.

Before leaving for the boxing gym, Chase told Brook Lynn that he thought he found a way for them to have a baby of their own. Chase was ready to ask Finn to be their sperm donor so the baby would have a biological connection to both of them. Chase felt Violet was the perfect specimen to prove that Finn made great kids.

Brook Lynn didn't seem thrilled with the idea. She especially didn't want to get on the phone with Finn and propose it. Chase could tell Brook Lynn wasn't on board, Brook Lynn explained that she didn't think Finn would be okay watching someone else raise his child even if he said it would be. In the end, it could be too complicated.

Brook Lynn wisely brought up the mess between Molly and Kristina. They thought things would go smoothly when Kristina agreed to be their surrogate, but everything went south in the end, and not just because of Kristina's pool plunge.

Brook Lynn also wondered how the child would feel knowing their biological child was their uncle. "Do they have to know?" Chase asked. Brook Lynn finally convinced Chase that they needed to think about this idea some more before making any decisions.
