Michael and Curtis sat in Curtis' office going over their plot to steal Aurora from Drew. They planned to leak a false report on the company's earnings to drive the stock price down so Michael could buy shares and name Curtis as CEO. Curtis referred to the leak as a "simple clerical error."
Michael wanted to be upfront with Curtis before they made their move. He told him about the Q clan and their guests finding out about the affair, thanks to Tracy. Michael reminded Curtis that Drew wouldn't want to give Michael the CEO position now, so there might be no sense in completing their plan. Curtis wanted to go ahead with it anyway.
"I cannot predict what Drew is going to do next. I just know I can't work with a man like that," Curtis said. He also asked Michael to put his promise in writing — that for the next five years, Curtis would be Aurora's CEO. Michael agreed and signed the papers. Michael then sent the email with the leak, and the stock began falling soon afterward.
Jordan and Felicia ushered in the holidays by running a coat drive and flu shot clinic. Isaiah and Willow were also on board, giving Port Charles citizens their annual jabs. When Willow looked across the room, she found Drew standing there with a smile. Jordan could only glare when she spotted her old pal Drew.

Jordan approached Drew and made small talk but gave him a dirty look as he made a beeline for Willow. He was there as a congressman to thank the GH staff for volunteering. Drew pulled Willow aside, but she told him they couldn't be seen together. Drew didn't want to hear that.
"I don't care. All I care about is you," he whispered. Willow and Drew made some awkward small talk. Drew was angry at Michael for keeping the video a secret for weeks, but Willow wasn't angry. "He's hurt. I don't blame him," she said. Drew only cared about being with Willow, but she insisted her kids needed to be her focus.
Jordan watched as Willow and Drew continued their talk. Willow was sad to hear Drew was alone until he spent some time with Scout on Christmas. Willow then made the colossal mistake of inviting Drew and Scout to Nina's place for the holiday. Felicia quickly broke up the tender moment by asking Willow to help her stock first aid kits.
As Drew stood in a corner alone, he noticed via his phone that Aurora stock was plummeting.
Ava stopped by Nina's pastel apartment to hear a report on Wiley and Amelia's time at Grandma's place. Nina even made them a playroom and hired a nanny. Ava was impressed with the abundance of holiday decor.
Ava commented that she had never seen Nina so festive before. Nina chalked it off to a Christmas miracle. Willow and her grandchildren were with her now. "Michael has been standing between Willow's true happiness long enough," Nina declared. Ava had a worried warning for her friend. "You have got to tell Willow about you and Drew before it's too late," Ava advised.
Nina balked at the idea, but Ava pressed on. Ava pointed out that Nina was involved with Drew before Willow kissed him. Nina was allowed to keep her personal relationships quiet. "Nothing will work with Willow if you're not honest with her," Ava pointed out. Nina feared if she told Willow the truth, she'd run right back to Michael.
Nina wanted Willow to find her own identity away from the Quartermaines and Carly's kids. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Nina opened it to find Marty standing there. Nina had summoned him to discuss Willow's divorce and custody arrangement. Marty felt that Nina was jumping the gun a bit. "Where is Willow, and what does she want?" a puzzled Marty asked.
Nina explained she was just helping Willow out, to which Ava commented, "Nothing says Merry Christmas like a divorce lawyer on retainer."
Marty admitted a custody fight would not be easy since Michael was the injured party and Willow wasn't Wiley's biological mother. Nina reminded Marty that Willow legally adopted him. Marty warned Nina that a custody fight wasn't going to be easy. "Willow will be ready," Nina assured.
Carly barged into the coffee warehouse with a bone to pick with Jason. "How can you not tell me that Willow cheated on Michael with Drew?" she angrily asked. Carly explained how Tracy accidentally streamed footage from Michael's phone that revealed everything Drew and Willow did on the playroom floor.
Jason admitted that Michael had shown him the video, infuriating Carly because she never told him. Jason said it was not his place to tell her, but Carly disagreed. She wondered if her insistence on Michael trusting Drew led to the affair. Carly also didn't understand why Michael allowed Willow to leave with the kids. Jason suggested that Michael was thinking of Wiley and Amelia.
Carly had a plan. "I'm going to call Diane, and I'm going to give her the video, and then we're going to expose your brother for the sleazebag that he is," she said. Jason tried to be diplomatic about the situation, but Carly didn't care. "You had your shot at Drew. Now, let me have mine," she demanded.
Jason wanted Carly to leave Michael out of her beef with Drew. He admitted he wanted Drew to hurt, but he regretted beating up Drew. Carly didn't care what Jason had to say. "Drew and Willow hurt my son, and now they're going to pay for it," she shouted.
Lucky and Elizabeth stood in her living room, trying to figure out what connected Dex and Sam other than having Liz as their nurse and dying from heart attacks. Suddenly, Aiden walked in and told them he had found a surprise lurking outside. That's when Cameron appeared, giving his mother the best Christmas present ever.
Liz embraced her son but was surprised to see a blonde girl named Gretchen walk in the front door. She was a "friend" of Cameron's from Stanford. Cam was happy to see Lucky but had to give his mom some bad news. He was going to spend Christmas with Gretchen's parents in Key West, which was why he was in Port Charles a week before the holiday.
Although she was disappointed, Elizabeth decided they would just celebrate Christmas today. Liz was also pleased to hear her sons kept in touch via a sibling group chat. Cameron later took Elizabeth aside and apologized for wanting to spend Christmas with his girlfriend's family. Liz finally convinced Cameron to break out his guitar and sing them a festive song.
A sad Josslyn arrived home and went through the gifts she bought Dex that she put under the tree. When Trina arrived, she took Josslyn in her arms to comfort her friend. Josslyn gave Trina the details about what happened to Dex. Josslyn just wanted to be home with her friend now and not around a coddling Carly.
Josslyn knew Trina could relate to how she was feeling. "I kept trying to remember what I told you when you lost Spencer, thinking it might help, but it doesn't. Nothing helps," Joss admitted. Josslyn told Trina she felt stupid believing Dex would be safer as a cop than he was working for Sonny.
Josslyn blamed herself for Dex's death, but Trina reminded her she felt guilty about Spencer. Trina insisted neither death was their fault. "Eventually, you will get to the place that I got. Spencer would want that for me," Trina said.
