In Nina's office, Maxie tried defending Lulu to Nina. She pointed out that it would only make sense to Lulu that Nina would know where Charlotte and Valentin were. Nina acknowledged that she understood better than anyone that time had stood still for Lulu, but Nina had no clue where Valentin was.

Nina also reminded Maxie that she missed years of her life and woke up determined to find her own child. She asked Maxie to help Lulu understand that Nina was on her side.

As Maxie walked out of Nina's office, Drew walked in. He told her that he planned to make Michael the new Aurora CEO. Nina asked what happened to Curtis. "Curtis is out, Michael is in," Drew said. He assured Nina that he would give Curtis a raise for his job heading up the Aurora wellness division.

Nina was outraged that Drew would pass over Curtis, but Drew insisted it was a business position, and Michael was the better choice. "Are you trying to assuage your guilt by gifting your company to Michael?" Nina asked. Drew thought Nina would be happy with Drew's choice because it would make Willow happy.

"Appeasing Michael is going to lower the temperature and may even save your daughter's marriage," Drew said. Nina didn't think that would work. She also wasn't pleased when Drew asked her to soften the blow with Curtis when Drew told him the truth. Nina was not about to help him.

Curtis and Jordan met in his office to discuss the progress on the McConkey Esplanade. Curtis asked Jordan to hold off on asking for final approval because he had a better location in mind when he became the CEO of Aurora. Jordan wondered if Curtis had spoken to Drew about the matter. "Oh, I talked to him. And he lied straight to my face," Curtis said.

Curtis informed Jordan that he planned to team up with Michael to take Drew down, but he would do it his way and not Michael's way. Curtis once again asked Jordan to hold off on the new esplanade, and she agreed to slow-walk the project. Jordan got up to leave as Portia walked in. Jordan left Curtis and Portia alone to talk.

"I'm about to take Aurora from Drew, and I want you to know why," Curtis said. Portia was stunned when Curtis told them how duplicitous Drew was being. However, she was not pleased to learn Jordan already knew what was going on and was helping Curtis with his plan to bring down Drew.

When Carly told Lulu that Brennan knew how to contact Valentin, Lulu told him to start dialing. Brennan did as he was told and made the call. When nobody picked up, Lulu said that Brennan could have called anyone. Brennan admitted she was right, but she would just have to trust him.

Brennan claimed he had Valentin's number because Valentin had contacted him, but he had no idea where he was. Lulu slammed the phone and shouted that she didn't believe Brennan for a second. "I am finding my daughter even if I have to burn the WSB to the ground," she said. Brennan took back his phone and noticed the broken screen. "The family resemblance is unmistakable," he noted.

After Brennan left, Carly warned Lulu that she made a wrong move. She even believed that Brennan was telling her the truth. Carly asked Lulu not to take on the WSB by herself. Carly also reiterated that Nina and Valentin had cut ties, so she could not help her. Lulu was surprised to hear that Nina had moved on and had married and divorced Sonny over the past four years.

Carly then had to be the bearer of bad news. Bobbie had died in January. Apparently, nobody had mentioned this particular death to Lulu yet. Just then, Maxie appeared at the door. "Were you ever going to call me?" she asked Lulu.

The two friends embraced as if they hadn't seen one another in four years. Lulu told Maxie that she had seen James and he was adorable. Lulu apologized for not getting in contact with Maxie yet, but she was focused on finding Charlotte. The two friends caught up. Lulu even got to learn about the long-awaited and welcome end of Peter August.

Lulu was happy that Maxie was back to Spinelli. Maxie said it was true love so Lulu told her that seeing Dante reminded her what true love was. However, she knew he was grieving Sam and wanted to give him space. "I don't even know how Dante could look at me. The woman he loves is gone and she would be here if she hadn't been my donor," Lulu said.

When Brennan got back to his office, he told Collette, his deputy chief, that he wanted to find Valentin. With Lulu and her allies knowing he called Valentin, he thought bringing him and Charlotte home was his best bet. Brennan was willing to use Lulu's allies to do his dirty work. Collette felt that Brennan should have never let Valentin take the fall for Pikeman and get away.

It suddenly occurred to Brennan that having a teenager with him could become difficult. He wondered if that might help them locate Valentin. "How long do you think a teenager could go without her phone?" he asked cryptically. He believed they might be able to locate Charlotte using social media.

As Martin sat in the park, leaving a message for Cyrus, someone came up behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder. The hand belonged to Jason, who brought Marty back to his coffee warehouse office. Anna soon arrived and told Marty that he was going to help them find Valentin one way or another.

Anna found it hard to believe that Marty would give up Valentin's money so he had to know where he was. Marty pointed out that Charlotte was his niece, so of course, he wanted her home. That meant he had no idea where Valentin was. Anna didn't buy it so she ordered Jason to jog Marty's memory. Marty then gave up his phone to prove that none of his numbers for Valentin worked.

Jason handed the phone to Spinelli just as Carly walked in and told them that Brennan had found the bug and had Valentin's burner phone number. Jason ordered Carly to leave, but she refused. Suddenly, Spinelli announced that Valentin was in Zurich.

Back in the office, Marty read Anna correctly when he told her that finding Charlotte won't take away the fact that she shot the teenager last year. Anna said that is why she was so determined to make things up to Charlotte and reunite with her mother.

Before her trip to Jason's office, Anna visited Dex in his hospital room as he recovered from his stab wound. She assured him the PCPD was investigating what really happened. Dex worried that he was targeted because he was a cop. Before Anna could respond to that, a frantic Josslyn came rushing into the room.

Joss and Dex reminisced about the time he recovered from a gunshot wound in her dorm room. She was just glad he was in a hospital this time. Isaiah soon arrived to discuss Dex's surgery and assured Josslyn that Dex would be just fine.

Once alone, Josslyn wondered if Sonny had been the one to target him. Dex knew if Sonny wanted to take him out, it would have happened already. Josslyn had assumed once Dex was on the right side of the law, he'd be safer.

Later, Isaiah was pleased to see Jordan when she asked a nurse where she could find Dex. She was happy to see Isaiah performing surgeries and assumed he had signed a contract with GH.
