Carly returned to her hotel room frustrated, yet smiled as she thought of Jack Brennan. Right on cue, Jack arrived at her door. Carly was glad that she was allowed to see Michael, but he didn't know she was there because he was in a medically induced coma.

Carly thanked Jack for being there for her and helping secure Michael a spot in the clinic. "Why are you being so nice to me?" she asked. "I've been asking myself the same question," Jack responded with a sly smile.

Jack just wanted Carly to relax and make the best of her stay in Germany. He suggested they check out the hotel spa. Carly turned down his invitation, saying she needed to get Michael's labs transferred. Jack offered to help, but Carly still took a raincheck on the spa.

When Jack got to the spa, he laid back and closed his eyes — just as Valentin walked in, ready for a kill.

While walking the hospital halls, Portia informed Isaiah that the PCPD knew there were mysterious deaths at the hospital. Now, she had to tell the families of the deceased. Just then, Alexis walked off the elevator.

Portia brought Alexis into her office and told her that the hospital knew what caused Sam's heart attack. "It stems from a drug she should not have been given," Portia said matter-of-factly. Alexis immediately thought someone had made an error, but Portia corrected her. "What happened to Sam wasn't a mistake. It was intentional," Portia explained.

Being a lawyer, Alexis knew exactly what Portia was saying. "Someone murdered my daughter!?" she exclaimed. Portia then took Alexis to the nurses' hub, where she introduced her to Isaiah. "How is it possible my daughter was murdered in this hospital?" Alexis asked.

Isaiah explained how he deduced the Digitalis deaths were intentional. Alexis vowed that she would find Sam's killer if it were the last thing she ever did.

Brook Lynn was a wreck as she stormed into her bedroom, with Lois following close behind. Lois thought that Brook Lynn was upset about fertility issues, but she was really angry about Tracy hiring Lulu as her assistant. Lois didn't think this was such a big deal, so Brook Lynn said she would deal.

Brook Lynn then gave her mother good news. Her test results showed nothing wrong with her ability to become pregnant. "I was so scared that the baby I gave up for adoption would be the only one I did — that I literally gave away my one chance to be a mother."

Lois then asked a pointed question: "All those years ago in high school, do you feel you were pushed to do something you didn't want to do?" Brook Lynn assured Lois that she didn't push her. She knew she wasn't ready to be a mother back then.

Brook Lynn remembered how calm and supportive she was when Lois told her mother she was pregnant, but Lois said the entire conversation was now a blur. Brook Lynn said giving the baby up was "the hardest choice I ever made, but I never regretted it." Brook Lynn didn't even know whether she had a boy or a girl.

In the living room, Sasha served Tracy a Manhattan, but Tracy quickly had a problem with the type of cherries Sasha used. Sasha offered to make another one, but Jason suddenly appeared and told her she wouldn't be. Jason approved of the Manhattan and saw no reason for Sasha to make another one.

"What would you know? You only drink beer," Tracy said. After Sasha left the room to do as Tracy wanted, Jason took his aunt to task for always ordering Sasha around. "I am not discussing manners with you," Tracy said.

Tracy soon turned the subject to Willow. Things weren't working out. Tracy didn't like Nina practically isolating Willow from everyone else. "Willow acts like she's doing us a big favor by staying here," Tracy accused. Ned walked into the room and had a response: "Because she is, and we should show her some respect."

Ned admitted that Willow was wrong to cheat on Michael, "but who in this home can cast stones when it comes to having an affair?" Olivia was the only one to respond with: "Not you."

Ned blamed everything that had happened on Drew, but Tracy felt Willow had to bear some responsibility. Ned agreed but felt that having Willow in the guesthouse could create some room between her and Drew so his spell would break. Olivia agreed that Willow should have a chance to prove herself.

Tracy asked a silent Chase his opinion on his ex. "Willow made a mistake, but she's not a bad person and not a bad mother. She wants what's best for Wiley and Amelia just like you do," he said. Ned just wanted to give Willow time and space to come to her senses.

Sasha soon returned with another drink, but Tracy still had complaints, so Sasha called her dramatic. Suddenly, Tracy jumped onto the couch and screamed that she saw a mouse in the bookcase. Jason offered to take care of it, but Tracy put Sasha in charge.

Sasha declared that she wasn't climbing on anything to reach the mouse. When Tracy pushed, Sasha blurted out that she refused because she was pregnant. Tracy was immediately alarmed. "Oh my God! You're pregnant with your cousin's baby," she accused.

Sasha insisted that Cody wasn't her baby daddy. Tracy was incensed that Sasha would parade strange men through her place of employment for sex. An exasperated Sasha told Tracy that she went back to a hotel room with a man she met in a bar the night she learned that Cody was her cousin. Jason immediately knew who the proud soon-to-be-daddy was.

When Sasha said she would be raising the baby alone, Gio spoke up and told them he didn't have a father and had turned out just fine. Lois got an all-knowing look on her face.

Tracy still gave Sasha a hard time and told her to call an exterminator. "Call one yourself," Sasha said before storming out of the room. Jason followed her while Brook Lynn and Chase made a hasty exit. Tracy wasn't finished ranting, blaming Danny and Rocco for the mouse due to their teenage boy eating habits.

"Why are we obliged to be a daycare center and offer child care to everyone?" she asked incredulously. Ned had another perfect reply: "Mother, I thought you loved children. You just kidnapped two."

Upstairs, Brook Lynn went over what had just happened in the living room. She was happy for Sasha and also happy with her lab results. Sadly, Chase had to burst his wife's bubble with news of his own test results. "Brook Lynn, I'm so sorry. My tests came back too, and I...I can't get you pregnant."

As for Sasha, Jason caught up with her outside the boat house and asked, "Does Michael know?"

Anna and Felicia took some time out to get manicures. Anna thanked Felicia for convincing her to prioritize self-care, as Emma would say. Anna wondered how all these young adults had "all this time or all this self-care." Hearing Emma's name reminded Felicia that she saw Emma at a club, but Felicia followed her to make sure that she got home okay.

Anna realized that happened on a night that Emma claimed she was staying in and catching up on schoolwork. Emma soon appeared in the nail salon, where Anna took her granddaughter to task for lying. Emma claimed she was not a little kid anymore and could do as she wanted.

Emma apologized for lying but claimed she wouldn't have had to if she lived in the dorms with the rest of her friends. She then claimed she was at the club for a fundraiser for an anti-animal cruelty organization. "So, you were out clubbing at 2 a.m. because you were trying to save the lab rats?" Anna asked, not believing that Emma was telling the whole truth. Emma claimed she wanted to have a little fun, too. She later got Anna to agree to go clubbing with her as long as Emma got good grades at school.
