Jason arrived at the hospital to find Willow, Sonny, and Portia outside Michael's room while Carly was visiting with her injured son. Portia explained that Michael had been woken briefly to talk to Carly, but if the pain got too severe, she would sedate him again.

Inside Michael's room, Carly tried to ask Michael if he wanted to go to Johns Hopkins for treatment or the German clinic. Michael chose Germany, but he was in so much pain that Carly said she would get Portia. Michael asked his mother to wait and kept repeating "Sasha" to a confused Carly.

Carly left the room and told Portia that Michael wanted to see Sasha. Portia said they needed to find her fast because she couldn't keep Michael awake much longer. Jason walked away to call Sasha, so Carly told Willow Michael wanted to go to Germany.

Willow agreed to Michael's wishes but asked to speak to Michael. Carly didn't like the idea but Sonny believed Michael and Willow deserved a chance to say goodbye.

When Willow entered Michael's room, she asked him to listen as if he could get up and make a choice. Willow told Michael she was sorry for everything, and Wiley and Amelia missed their dad. Whatever has gone wrong between us, I will always love you," Willow confessed.

Suddenly, the alarms started going off in Michael's room, panicking Willow, who left the room so Portia could work. Carly had no trouble screaming in Willow's face and blaming her for what happened. Jason returned with Sasha just in time for Portia to tell them all that she had to sedate Michael again.

Jason pulled a loud Carly aside and told her to stop taking her anger out on Willow. Jason got Carly to somewhat calm down and was glad to hear that Carly was going to Germany with Michael. Just then Anna called to tell Jason he needed to get to the PCPD immediately.

Outside Michael's room, Carly told Portia she had a private jet with a nurse waiting. Kristina then arrived and heard her brother was leaving Port Charles. She thanked Willow for letting Michael choose his own treatment.

Before Kristina could say another word, Drew appeared to ask Willow if Sonny and Carly were harassing her. Willow assured her hero that she was fine. Drew begged to differ because Wiley and Amelia were still not with her. "That's on Tracy, not Carly and Sonny. Michael's health is on the line," Willow pointed out.

When Drew heard that Michael had chosen a German facility for treatment after Carly had Portia wake him up, Drew had some snide remarks to make. "Oh, so Carly wanted him treated in German, and Michael agreed. Wow, that's a shocker," he said. Carly heard him and asked Drew if he thought she was lying. Drew made a few more snide remarks until Sonny told him he didn't belong there.

Willow took Drew aside and told him she had spoken to Michael himself, which surprised him. "I had to, and I'm glad that I did. I wanted to apologize to him and make sure he knows how much he still means to me," she said. Drew and Willow then moved to the chapel, where Drew expressed concern that Carly and Sonny had pressured her. She assured him that they hadn't.

Willow was alarmed when Drew informed her he'd had Tracy arrested. She wanted to know where her kids were and panicked when Drew told her nobody knew. Drew wanted Willow to use Michael as leverage again but she refused.

Just as quickly as she told Drew no, Willow snapped back into zombie mode and asked Drew if he thought she had ruined her chances of getting Wiley and Amelia back by giving in to Sonny and Carly. "You didn't know that Carly and Sonny were going to manipulate you," Drew told a panicked Willow. Suddenly, Jason walked in just in time to see Drew caressing Willow.

As for Michael, he was transferred onto a jet. At the airstrip, Carly thanked Brennan for his help. They said their goodbyes before Carly and Michael took off to Germany.

Before he made it to the hospital, Drew spent his time at the PCPD annoying poor Anna. She was surprised when Marty and Drew asked her to charge Tracy with kidnapping. They explained that there was a court order to return Wiley and Amelia to Willow, but Tracy refused to reveal where the children were. When Anna confronted Tracy in the interrogation room, the older woman complained that this was "egregious police overreach."

Anna asked Tracy where the kids were so Tracy wondered if she looked like a nanny. "Only in a Grimm's fairy tale," Anna replied. Tracy said she couldn't remember where Yuri and the nanny had taken the kids because the handcuffs were causing her so much pain that it was affecting her memory.

Anna had Tracy uncuffed, but still couldn't get her to cooperate. "Those children are safe and sound and need to be with their extended family and not with their cheating mother who is shacking up with her husband's uncle," Tracy declared.

Anna pointed out that it was for a judge to decide, and one already had. Tracy promised to find her own judge. Just then, Drew barged in to yell at his aunt and once again demanded to know where Willow's kids were. "You don't care about those children. All you want is to be the hero so that Willow will gaze up adoringly at you," Tracy accused.

When Anna spotted Brennan through the window she left the room to talk to her WSB agent. She was surprised to hear that he had information on the incendiary device that caused Michael's burns. Brennan told her it was a government black ops device, so Anna asked if he was the one who planted it.

Brennan denied the accusation and pointed out that if he wanted Sonny dead, he'd be "much more discreet than setting a luxury high rise on fire." Anna was worried that the attack didn't seem like a usual mob hit because it was way too sophisticated.

Back in the interrogation room, Tracy and Willow continued to argue, with Tracy calling Drew a "blight on the family name." Drew claimed to care about the family, especially Monica. Tracy could only scoff. "If you cared about Monica, you would not be taking those children away from her," Tracy said.

Drew started bringing up the past. "It kills you that Alan gave the house to Monica instead of you, so don't pretend that this is anything but a power play on your part," Drew said while Tracy stuck her fingers in her ears and repeated, "La la la la la."

Drew finally left the PCPD ranting and raving that Tracy belonged in a drunk tank, exasperating Anna. Marty remained with Tracy as she yelled at him that he was on the wrong side.

Jason soon arrived and asked Anna what was going on. Anna explained that Drew wanted Tracy arrested, saying, "They're your family, Jason. You deal with them." Jason sat down with Tracy and told her Michael was going to Germany and would want the kids with Willow. Tracy admitted that her problem was with Drew.

"I would gladly let Willow see her kids on the Quartermaine property as long as Drew was nowhere to be seen. It is what's best for those children and is what Monica wants," Tracy said. After Jason couldn't get through to Tracy and left, Anna sent her to lockup.

Kristina and Alexis sat outside on Pier 54, talking about Michael. Alexis was glad that Kristina was willing to leave the hospital, but all Kristina could think about was how much pain her brother was in. Their bonding moment was interrupted when Ava suddenly appeared.

Ava had no problem being snarky. "Let me guess, you're on your way to Spoon Island to steal it from its new and rightful owner the way you stole my divorce settlement," Ava said.

Ava then got serious and told the two women that she was sorry to hear about Michael because she understood how painful it was to recover from severe burns. Sadly, she also put her foot in her mouth when she said, "I am just glad Avery wasn't there. Hopefully, the next time someone wants to off your father, they actually hit the target."

Ava immediately knew she said the wrong thing, but it was too late. A furious Kristina had a pointed question. "You knew that Avery wasn't going to be there. Did you try to kill my father?" Kristina asked. "Of course not," Ava replied. Ava was also adamant that she had to get sole custody of Avery right away.

"I am sure the judge will agree when you testify at the hearing," Ava said, setting off Kristina. "You still expect me to testify. You killed my baby," Kristina insisted before walking away. Alexis warned Ava not to go near Kristina again.

Alexis reasoned with Ava, admitting she knew Kristina's fall was an accident. She also gave Ava food for thought by asking how she would feel if something like that had happened to Avery.

Once Ava was gone, Sidwell showed up. As the executor of the Cassadine estate, he wanted Alexis to see what he had done with Wyndemere, the former Cassadine castle. Alexis had no interest, but she gave Sidwell the title of Spoon Island and told him to enjoy it in good health.

As for Ava, she surprised Sonny in his office to discuss the fire. Ava begged Sonny to let her have Avery for safety's sake. She didn't notice that Sonny was having chest pains. Sonny assured Ava that Avery was safe. Ava angrily stormed out just before Sonny collapsed on the floor.

Maxie sat with Natalia in her office, discussing Deception business. Talk turned to Michael. Natalia was amazed that he even survived the fire. "I'm happy Michael is still alive, but we all know he wasn't the target. Sonny was...I've known Sonny my whole life, and although he's been kind to me, it's not safe to be in his orbit," Maxie said.

Before Natalia left, Sasha walked in and told them that Michael was being transferred to a clinic in Germany. Once alone, Sasha confessed to Maxie that she had just had her first prenatal visit, and all she could think of was Liam.
