Collette updated Jack, telling him that the PCPD had just brought Jason in for questioning. They didn't get to discuss the matter much because Carly dropped in. She thanked him for fixing her plumbing the night before but also had a confession to make. If Jack hadn't gotten a phone call, Carly had planned to ask him to spend the night.

"It would have been a huge mistake. Or maybe I am just worried for nothing, and you would have just turned me down anyway," Carly said. Jack admitted he would have stayed if she'd asked.

Carly explained that she rethought things and didn't like the idea of sleeping with Jack unless she knew where their relationship stood. Jack wasn't sure how they should label themselves, but he had no problem taking things slow and figuring it out.

Anna informed Jason that the only things left behind at Cyrus' cabin were two pieces of hair identified as Jason's. He kept insisting he was never at Cyrus' cabin and had an alibi to prove it. Anna found it odd that Drew was his alibi but left the interrogation room when she spotted Josslyn.

Anna was shocked to learn that the DA's office had officially removed her from the Cyrus case, citing her lack of objectivity when it comes to Jason. When Josslyn heard that Jason was about to be charged, she spoke up. "You don't understand. Jason didn't do it," she declared.

Joss didn't get far with Anna, so she ran to see Jack. Collette called Jack and discreetly told him that Josslyn was there. Jack hung up and informed Carly that the PCPD had just taken Jason into custody. That prompted Carly to leave so that Josslyn could storm into Jack's office without her mother catching her.

Josslyn started shouting in Jack's face, demanding that he do something because the police believed Jason had killed Cyrus. "And I don't know how, but somehow Jason's DNA ended up in the cabin," Josslyn stated. "Because we put it there," Jack replied, stunning Joss.

Jack explained that Josslyn did a great job tracking Cyrus down but did a horrible job creating a neat crime scene, so they had to find another suspect. "Jason fit the bill nicely," Jack reasoned. He also informed Joss that Jason wasn't going to prison because Cyrus' body would never be found.

Josslyn didn't think she could be a party to this, so Jack told her to just say the word, and he would make sure Cyrus' body was found and a proper investigation could start. "Can you promise me Jason won't go to prison?" Joss asked. Jack nodded in the affirmative, so Josslyn decided to keep her mouth shut.

Jack once again proposed that Josslyn join the WSB. "I am asking you to serve, to protect, to do your part," he said.

In the interrogation room, Jason announced that he had nothing to say without his attorney. When the ADA left the room, Anna asked if Jason had mentioned his alibi. The ADA quickly told Anna to get Jason's alibi down to the station.

Carly soon arrived and got some answers from Anna. She was stunned to learn that Cyrus was responsible for Dex and Sam's deaths — and that Jason had threatened to kill Cyrus in public. Carly was relieved to learn that Jason claimed to have an alibi just as Drew and Willow then appeared.

Drew welcomed Alexis to his new home so Maxie could ask her how Scout would like her room decorated. Alexis was sure whatever Maxie chose would be wonderful. When Maxie left the room, Alexis took the opportunity to tell Drew that Cyrus had killed Sam.

Alexis didn't think he should tell Scout at this time because she was too young to hear such awful news. Drew agreed with Alexis, much to his former mother-in-law's relief. After Alexis left, Willow showed up, but Drew was disappointed to see that Nina was with her.

Maxie brought Willow into another room to look at window treatments, leaving Nina and Drew alone to chat. "If you think this place is going to have a mother-in-law suite, think again," Drew said. "If you think I am ever going to be your mother-in-law, think again," Nina countered. She reminded Drew that Willow and Michael weren't even divorced yet.

Drew didn't seem to care. "I think Willow will do whatever makes her kids happy and that includes marrying me and making our family together. It's only a matter of time, Nina, so you either get on board or lose Willow again. It's really up to you," Drew warned.

Nina accused Drew of rushing Willow into making a decision she was not yet ready to make. Drew reasoned that Willow was a grown woman, but Nina pointed out that she could still be taken advantage of. Nina thought Drew just wanted to one-up Jason.

"So, Jason got Sasha pregnant, and you have to prove you could do it too?" Drew reminded Nina he already had two kids, so he was capable of getting a woman pregnant. Drew decided that Nina was jealous of his and Willow's relationship, an idea Nina scoffed at.

Willow and Maxie soon returned to the living room. As Drew and Willow started to leave to pick up Scout's new bed, the cops called and asked Drew to come in to talk. Willow accompanied him.

Once alone, Nina begged Maxie to help her stop Willow from moving in with Drew. Maxie was taken aback when Nina asked her to break into Drew's safe. "I know Drew. He might look all Boy Scout on the outside, but on the inside, he's as corrupt as they come," Nina declared.

Maxie suggested that Nina just tell Willow the truth about her affair with Drew rather than look for proof of unknown corruption. Nina reasoned that she wanted to tell Willow the truth, but Willow needed her. "If I tell her the truth, she'll be on her own," Nina argued. Maxie warned Nina that if she didn't accept that Willow and Drew were together, then she'd just push them closer together.

After some more prodding from Nina, Maxie hinted that the combination to Drew's safe was in a folder on the coffee table.

Lucas heard Brad asking Felicia about the itinerary for the Florida symposium. He was impressed that Portia had chosen Brad to go. Brad tried to make plans with Lucas for when they were in Miami. Before Lucas could respond, Selina appeared behind Brad.

Selina pulled him aside and handed him a resignation letter to give to Portia. "Now you're resigning because you're coming back to work for me," she said. Selina wanted Brad to pay off the remainder of what Cody owed by being her errand boy again.

When Felicia informed Portia that Selina was there, she left Jordan alone to confront the lady mobstress. Portia immediately asked Selina to leave the building. Selina left, but not without giving Brad a few warnings Portia didn't understand. She later sent Brad a text asking him to meet her at the Surf Lounge.

Brad did as he was told and begged Selina to just let him live his life. He was so close to getting Lucas back, but Selina didn't care. "You owe me, and one way or another, your debt will be paid," she said.

Brad then betrayed Portia, someone who had been learning to trust him. He gave Selina proof that Portia fiddled with Heather's test results as payment. Now, she had leverage over the GH chief of staff.

While Brad met with his aunt, Lucas met with Alexis in the hospital halls. She wanted to know how much he knew about Sam's death. Lucas admitted he knew a lot and had known for quite some time. Lucas explained that he, Elizabeth, and Lucky did their own investigating when they learned how Sam died.

"So the police knew, and all of you knew, and nobody bothered to say anything to me until after my grandson confronted Cyrus?" a perplexed Alexis asked. Lucas didn't want to say anything until they had proof. Alexis didn't care. "I am her mother and deserved to know," she said.

Alexis remembered Lucas telling them the news of Sam's death, but the rest of the night was a blur. She worried that she had blamed Lucas, and that is why he didn't attend Sam's funeral. Lucas admitted he had gone to the church, but Danny told him to leave.

Kai brought Trina to one of her favorite Port Charles art museums. He surprised her by announcing he might buy season passes. He then showed her a new exhibit where community members could contribute their own art. The pair got dressed in white coveralls and went to work painting.

Trina believed that Kai's painting showed "artistic intent," but Kai wasn't even sure what he was doing. "I guess it represents me. I have no idea what I am going to do next. Football was the only thing I knew until you," he admitted.
