In the Q kitchen, Sasha and Olivia went over the menu for the Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes. Tracy soon appeared, angry that her breakfast was scrambled eggs rather than her requested eggs benedict. Tracy wanted Lulu to have her favorite meal and told Sasha the mistake was inexcusable.
At that point, Sasha had just about had it with Tracy and let her know it. "If you want eggs, go lay them yourself," she said before walking out of the room. Olivia was furious that Tracy could cause Sasha to quit on Christmas Eve (in Port Charles time).
"Now go make nice with Sasha or I'll tell Monica," Olivia warned.
Maxie visited the Quartermaine stables bearing gifts for Cody. She also gave him a hand-made invitation from James to spend Christmas with the Scorpios. Cody turned down the invite, but Maxie immediately knew why. "You are ditching us because of Sasha," she said.

Maxie understood seeing Sasha would be weird for Cody, but she encouraged him to embrace the weirdness so they could enjoy Christmas with their new family. Tracy soon arrived and told them what happened with Sasha. Maxie remembered what day it was and told Tracy, who felt sheepish after learning the truth.
Sonny stopped by All Saints Church to make his annual Christmas donation. Suddenly, Sasha walked in to light a candle for her baby Liam on the two-year anniversary of his death. Sonny sat down next to her because he remembered what day it was. Sasha was touched that Sonny arranged for a mass in Brando and Liam's memory.
Sasha told Sonny what happened with Tracy. Sonny was proud of Sasha for standing up to Tracy. Sasha admitted she loved her job and had gotten used to the Quartermaine quirks. "But Tracy's tantrum seemed so pointless, especially today when I am reminded just how fragile life is," Sasha cried.
Sonny told Sasha he hoped she got another chance to be a mother. "Whoever gets you, they're going to be the luckiest kid in the world," Sonny assured her. As Sonny left the church, Tracy walked in. She sat down next to a surprised Sasha and said her piece.
"I owe you an apology. I'm sorry for the way I spoke to you earlier. It was rude and insensitive, and I want you to know you have my deepest sympathies," Tracy said. Sasha accepted her apology but insisted it didn't excuse Tracy's behavior. "I will not be your punching bag," Sasha added.
Tracy told Sasha that she understood and would respect her. After she left, Sasha said a prayer for her new baby, not realizing Jenz Sidwell was sitting in a back pew.
When Brook Lynn walked into the living room of the Quartermaine estate, she was surprised to see Lulu sitting there eating. They made some awkward small talk. Lulu explained that Tracy had asked her to spend the night since she had been there so late the evening before.
Brook Lynn noted that Sam and Dante had made a great couple. Lulu made her own observation. "Kinda surprised it wasn't Dante and you, though," Lulu said. All Brook Lynn could do was laugh and tell Lulu she was now happily married to Chase. Lulu still seemed perturbed by Brook Lynn's presence.
"Look, time is all out of whack for you, and maybe you're confusing 2010 with 2024, but all that funny business between me, you, and Dante was years ago," Brook Lynn pointed out. As Lulu made more snide comments, Brook Lynn got angry and told Lulu to stop living in the past and be grateful for the life she had. Brook Lynn even bragged that she was now friends with Maxie.
When Dante arrived, Lulu made her exit. Once alone, Brook Lynn told Dante that she still didn't like Lulu. "She might be the heroine in your story, but she's still that self-righteous Spencer she has always been in mine," Brook Lynn lamented. Dante conceded that two good women didn't necessarily have to get along with one another but hoped Brook Lynn would give Lulu some grace.
As for Lulu, she had wandered to the stables, where she was surprised to find Cody, the man who had given her a ride back to Port Charles. Cody explained that he was Dante's childhood friend from summer camp and apologized for not recognizing her when she was hitchhiking. Lulu and Cody seemed to flirt for a bit before Dante walked in.
Maxie later dropped in on Brook Lynn at the main house. They discussed Brook Lynn's encounter with Lulu. Maxie's surrogacy debacle came up before Maxie mentioned all of her pregnancies. That prompted Brook Lynn to break into tears because she hadn't gotten pregnant yet. "It's been months, and this last month, we've been very dedicated. I'm starting to wonder if something is wrong," Brook Lynn confessed.
Marty apologized for being late to his coffee meetup with Laura. He told her all about Jason and Anna, basically kidnapping him and bringing him back to the coffee warehouse. Laura agreed what Anna and Jason did was wrong, but she blamed herself because she had been so adamant about finding Charlotte.
Laura promised to talk to Anna about what she did to Marty, who was just grateful Jason didn't put him in the trunk of his car. Marty wondered if Cyrus could help them find Valentin, but Laura didn't want Cyrus involved. She informed Marty that Cyrus had even planned to have Lulu transferred to a new facility without Laura's permission. Marty still felt Laura should talk to Cyrus. Laura insisted that she trusted Anna more than she trusted their brother.
Anna once again summoned Jason to his office, and he was happy to oblige. Anna needed Jason's help. Since Anna had to focus on finding Dex's killer, she wanted Jason in charge of finding Valentin and Charlotte. Jason accepted Anna's challenge and got ready to leave. Anna stopped him to ask how Josslyn was doing.
Anna explained how Josslyn was terrified when Dex first decided to become a cop and had told Anna she didn't want to be handed the flag at his funeral. Jason assured Anna that Josslyn didn't blame Anna for Dex's death. Anna felt guilty anyway but was proud of Dex and how good a cop he was, even though his tenure was brief.
After Jason left, Sonny stopped by to save Anna a trip. "I assume you want to talk to me about Dex Heller's death," he said. Anna admitted that she didn't think a knife in the back in the middle of Rice Plaza was Sonny's killing style. However, Anna gave Sonny a reminder: "You're only free because Dex refused to press charges as Brook Lynn and Chase's wedding. I'd say that you owe him a debt."
Jason later met with Spinelli, who reported that Valentin had been able to escape Spinelli's tracking.
Lucky stopped by Elizabeth's place with coffee, but Ric got their first with the same hot caffeinated wake-up beverage. Liz explained that she had told Ric what was going on at the hospital, so Ric was going to give her legal support. "This investigation is going to get messy, and I want to make sure Elizabeth doesn't get railroaded by GH's legal team," Ric said.
Ric asked Lucky to leave, but Elizabeth wanted him to stay. Ric continued questioning Liz about everything that happened before and after Dex died. Lucky and Ric argued back and forth about what Elizabeth might need until she told them both to zip it. "Two patients are dead. Can we just focus on that?" Liz asked.
Elizabeth was almost sure that Digitalis was what killed Dex, just like it had killed Sam. "Dex Heller was perfectly healthy...he was in full recovery. There was no reason he should have gone into cardiac arrest," Liz noted. Ric had some advice for Lulu. "Steer clear of General Hospital," he warned.
Lucky surprisingly agreed with Ric as both men tried to convince her to take a level of absence from the hospital. After Ric was gone, Lucky reminded Elizabeth that there were other lawyers out there.
