General Hospital Recap for Tuesday, December 10, 2024: Dex is stabbed, and Lulu meets Brennan

Maxie came into the Quartermaine kitchen and told Sasha she was looking for Lulu. Sasha told her that Lulu was staying at her mom’s, and from what she’d heard, she had been quite busy. Maxie had hoped to hear from her by then and regretted missing her the night she came to her home. Noting that was the night they found out Sasha was pregnant, she asked how Sasha was doing.

Sasha said she was fine physically. She shared that she was choosing to keep the baby, and Maxie was excited for her. She asked about the father, but Sasha repeated it was a stranger and she had no way to tell him about the pregnancy. Willow appeared at the door and stared down at Sasha. She quickly picked something up and left again. When she was gone, Maxie wanted to know what the chill between Sasha and Willow was about, but she shrugged it off.

Felicia takes James and Georgie to buy Christmas trees. She sees Cyrus preaching to people, and then Dex comes through the crowd. He introduces her to his new partner, Lauren Jackson. A rowdy bunch of college guys come into the park. They’ve been drinking and are arguing about football. Two break out into a fight, and it quickly turns into a group brawl. Dex breaks it up and confiscates their alcohol.

Dex took the bottles around the corner to dump them out. While he was standing at the garbage can, someone snuck up behind him and stabbed him with a large knife. Dex fell to the ground and was barely conscious when his partner found him. She called 911, and then Felicia rushed to his side as well. Dex was taken to the hospital, where Chase asked if he knew who stabbed him. Dex told him what he remembered, but he didn’t see who did it.

Brad hand-delivered a patient lab report to Lucas at the nurses’ station and then casually brought up the symposium. Lucas was surprised when Brad told him he was going as well. He said he only told him so there wasn’t an awkward moment if they ran into each other there. Brad reminded Lucas of another trip to Miami they had taken and was going to go to Cuba, but their trip was canceled because of the weather. Lucas didn’t balk at the memory but was called away to attend a stabbing victim in the trauma unit.

Back at the park, Chase asked Cyrus for his eyewitness account. Cyrus said he was too distracted by the crowd and his mission. Felicia approached Chase and gave him a detailed account of what happened. She noted that Dex was in an isolated spot when he was stabbed and surmised it was targeted. Before leaving, Felicia told Chase that she felt like there was something missing from her account. He told her to call her if she remembered what it was.

Carly walked into her office and was surprised to find Brennan there. He was incensed and told her that thanks to a regular sweep of his office, he knew that she had planted a bug in it. Carly admitted it was her but said that Anna and Jason didn’t trust him, and she was glad she had followed their instincts, as he had lied about knowing where Valentin was.

Brennan explained that he only had a phone number for Valentin, not a location. He pointed out that Carly had heard his entire conversation, and he had only contacted him as a favor to her, noting he’d done a lot of favors for her. Brennan was furious and told her that she breached national security and that he should arrest her. Carly said if he had been telling the truth, then she may have been wrong, and she apologized. Carly got a call and said she had to take care of something. She suggested they talk when she got back, but Brennan said he might not be there when she returned. “I don’t take orders from you,” Brennan growled.

Lula barged into Nina’s office and demanded to see Charlotte, but Nina denied knowing where she was. Lulu told her she was in a coma but didn’t have amnesia. “You love to lie,” Lula fumed. She told Nina that she would do anything to protect Valentin. Nina argued that a lot had happened in four years.

Lulu thought that Nina was still the same selfish person she remembered. Erica Kane called, but Lulu hung up on her. “You sat across from me in court and spewed your lies to get custody of my daughter, and now you won’t tell me everything you about how to get her back,” Lulu snapped. She said if Nina loved Charlotte, she’d say where she was.

Nina told Lulu that she wished she could help, but she had parted with Valentin a long time prior, and they were no longer close. She suggested that Lulu talks to Anna instead. Madison came in with Nick to remove Lulu, but she said she wasn’t going anywhere. She told them to call her cousin Carly, and they did.

Carly came in and was happily surprised to see Lulu. She found out why Lulu was there and told her that she wouldn’t normally defend Nina but in this case, she thought she was telling the truth. Lulu was frustrated and thought that someone must know something about how to find Charlotte. Carly knew who could and told Lulu to come with her. They got in the elevator and hugged.

Carly brought Lulu to her office and introduced her to Brennan, who said it was nice to meet her. “Everyone’s been making quite a fuss over you,” he added. Carly explained that she brought Lulu there for a reason. “Jack knows how to get in touch with Valentin,” Carly explained. “Good. Start dialing,” Lulu said firmly to Brennan.

Drew came into the office, and Curtis was waiting for him. He wanted to finalize the details of taking over Aurora before everyone left for the holidays. Drew told him with everything going on with Sam and Scout, he hadn’t had any time to do any of the preparations for the change. Curtis offered to do it now and get it off of Drew’s plate, but he balked.

Drew said he knew Curtis was eager but promised to ensure he was taken care of. Curtis told Drew he trusted him. “I know you are a man of your word and appreciate my hard work, and all the blood, sweat, and tears I put into Aurora will pay off,” Curtis added.

Drew went back to work but told Curtis he’d have his assistant set up a meeting for the 22nd. Michael overheard and asked Curtis what was happening on the 22nd. Curtis told him that was going to be the day Drew planned to blindside him with the CEO position, but it was actually going to be the day Drew realized he never should have tried to double-cross Curtis.

Michael reiterated that Drew couldn’t be trusted and asked if Curtis was ready to accept his offer to team up against Drew. Curtis declined. He said there was a way to take down Drew without taking down Aurora. “I want to take down Drew, but I want to do it my way,” Curtis added.

Joss came home and found Trina furious. She told her that Kai had sent her his portion of the project overnight, and it was amazing work. She was irritated because it was almost better than hers. Trina realized she might have misjudged Kai as a slacker when he was an elite athlete with a good work ethic. Lucas called and told Joss, “He’s stable, so don't panic, but Dex is in surgery. He was stabbed.”

At the park, Willow met with Drew and told him that she was going to tell Michael that they slept together. She wanted to wait until after Christmas for the kids’ sake in case she and Michael split up. She wondered how the fallout would affect Drew. “Don’t worry about me. Do what’s right for you and the kids,” Drew told her. He added that he really wished things had worked out differently. “So do I,” Will told him.

“I’m about to take Aurora from Drew,” Curtis tells Portia.

“That’s where you come in,” Drew explains to Nina.

“Were you ever going to call me?” Maxie asks Lulu.

“You have to keep your distance,” Anna says.

“Do you think he’s telling the truth?” Lulu asks Carly.

Martin jumps when someone puts their hand on his shoulder.

“I’ll ask the questions,” Jason says.
