Drew met Alexis at her new office. She immediately asked, "Who did that to your face?" just as Jason walked in. Alexis summoned both of them, noting she didn't think they'd come if they knew the other was there. Drew quickly tried to leave, but Alexis stopped him. She told both brothers that if they had ever loved Sam, they would hear her out.

Jason and Drew sat with copies of Sam's will. Drew admitted that Sam had asked him to be Danny's guardian, but Jason pointed out that the will had been drawn up before Sam knew Jason was alive. "Was it Sam's intention to grant custody of my son to Drew no matter what?" Jason asked. Drew said that Sam just wanted the kids to stay together. Jason still didn't like it, so Alexis spoke up.

"The law is on your side, Jason, but I am going to ask you to consider something. Even though Sam came around about allowing you in Danny's life, I don't know if she'd want you to have full custody, especially now that we know she wanted the kids to stay together," Alexis said.

Jason reasoned that they should ask Danny what he wanted. "He's old enough to choose who he wants to live with. I already told him he could live with me, and if that's what he wants, then I will make a home for him," Jason said.

Drew said that Danny was already living with him at the Quartermaine mansion and liked it, but Jason argued that Drew didn't need to tell Jason about his own son. Alexis agreed with Jason that Danny's feelings should be taken into account. However, she had a pointed question. "I'm just going to ask you how you both got bruises on your faces," she asked. Both brothers remained silent, so Alexis correctly assumed they had a fistfight.

When Jason and Drew refused to say a word, Alexis grew frustrated. "If you two truly love your children and truly loved my daughter, you will cut the crap and start talking," Alexis said.

Jason admitted he punched Drew. Meanwhile, Drew assured Alexis that they didn't involve the police, but she was more worried about the kids than the law. Drew said he lied and told Scout he walked into a door. Jason angered Drew by saying he told Danny the truth because he wouldn't lie to his kid. Alexis asked why Jason punched Drew.

"I'll tell you what I told Danny. That matter is between me and Drew," Jason said. Drew nodded in agreement. "As for everything else, Danny's my kid. I will fight for his right to choose what he wants," Jason added before leaving.

Once alone with Drew, Alexis stressed that Sam wouldn't want him barring Jason from Danny's life. Drew knew Sam wouldn't have wanted Danny, Scout, and Rocco to be split up. Alexis admitted that any decisions about Rocco were up to Dante. Drew then used Jason's temper as a reason for him not to raise Danny. "These cuts and bruises are an indication of what kind of father he'll be," Drew said.

Alexis then had an alternative suggestion. "What if Scout and Danny lived with me?" she asked. Drew was not happy about the idea. "Scout needs to be with her father, and there's no way I am going to let her live anywhere else except with me," Drew said.

After Jason left, he headed straight to Sonny's and told him about Sam's will. Sonny conceded that custody issues could take their toll on the kids, which was what Jason wanted to avoid. Jason respected Danny's need to care for Scout, but that didn't mean he wanted Drew to raise Danny. "I don't trust a word the man says. Why would I want Drew to be Danny's guardian?" Jason angrily asked.

Jason wondered what Sonny would do in this situation. "If it were me, I certainly wouldn't let Drew anywhere near Danny. If this is a fight, I got your back," Sonny said.

Chase arrived at Sam's penthouse to find the door open. He drew his gun until Dante walked down the stairs with some bags. Dante explained he was packing some stuff for himself and the kids so they could live at the Quartermaines. Dante said if it were up to him, he'd never leave as it was the last place his family was together.

Dante reminisced with Chase about his happy and comfortable life with Sam and how she usually won every minor argument. However, the penthouse was Sam's home, and Dante didn't feel he had a claim on it. Dante assumed that Sam had a will and left the penthouse to Danny and Scout. Dante was ready to find a new place for him and Rocco to live.

Chase suggested that Dante buy the penthouse but Dante didn't think it would feel right. Chase then tried to make the Q mansion seem appealing. He lived there and said all the people around kept him from being lonely. Plus, Dante's mom lived there.

Michael and Sasha shared some awkward moments in the Quartermaine kitchen as she baked. Michael claimed he was just there to get a snack but finally admitted he couldn't bring himself to go home. "I can't be in the same room, the same bed, or even under the same roof with her anymore," Michael said.

Sasha agreed that everything was a mess. Michael told her that Willow and Drew had slept together on the playroom floor and that he didn't know how to confront his wife about it. "If I tell Willow I know about her and Drew, then I have to tell her about us," Michael lamented.

Michael promised to keep Sasha's name out of it if he confessed to Willow that he cheated. Michael also acknowledged that confiding in Jason was a mistake. Sasha had wondered what prompted the fight between Jason and Drew, but now she knew. Michael wondered if Willow even loved him anymore.

Sonny served Kristina dinner at Pozzulo's. Kristina admitted she was worried about Ava's trial the next day. Sonny assured Kristina she would do great on the stand, but Kristina disagreed. "This is me we're talking about, Dad. What if I don't?" Kristina insisted that convicting Ava was the only way to get justice for the baby's death.

When Kristina wondered what she would do with the rest of her life, Sonny offered her a job with one of his businesses. Kristina argued that she wasn't qualified. Sonny felt Kristina was overqualified and thought she would be a good fit for his coffee business. Kristina promised to think about it.

Dex introduced himself to Kai when he spotted him at the boxing gym. Dex told Kai that they had someone in common: Trina Robinson. Dex explained that he knew Trina through his girlfriend, Josslyn. Kai thought that Dex was a fellow PCU student. When Dex said he was a cop, Kai joked around, asking if Trina sent Dex to arrest him.

Dex laughed before he said, "Trina can be intense, but she's a sweetheart." Dex and Kai seemed to become fast friends and even sparred in the boxing ring for a bit. Dex was pleased when Kai offered him tickets to the PCU vs Llanview game. They stopped sparring so Kai could leave and meet Trina for a study session.

Josslyn and Trina were enjoying a meal at Bobbie's when Josslyn noticed that Trina was lost in thought. Trina said she had been thinking about Kai, which intrigued Josslyn. Trina was concerned because she had expected Kai to meet them, but he never showed up. Josslyn pointed out that he wasn't even late yet. Trina was still frustrated.

"It's probably easier if I just do the work myself. Then I wouldn't be wasting time waiting on him or wasting time explaining everything to him," Trina said. Josslyn pointed out that Trina could be a bit of a control freak. Trina admitted that Josslyn was right, but she liked it that way. She didn't want to have to depend on anyone, including a flaky art project partner.

Just as Trina grew weary of waiting for Kai and got up to leave, he walked in and apologized for being late. As they began going over their project, Kai surprised Trina when she saw he'd already emailed her a list of research books. Trina wondered how he had time to compile a list. Kai said he often suffered from insomnia, so he did it at 3 am. Trina admitted she also had sleep issues.

Josslyn left Kai and Trina alone and sat at the counter. Kristina arrived and sat down next to her. Joss offered her condolences for Sam's death. Kristina thanked her for coming to the funeral and apologized for the way she had treated Josslyn earlier this year. Kristina was surprised to hear that Josslyn would be testifying at Ava's trial. They were ready to seek justice for Morgan.

Jordan brought TJ some takeout at GH and asked him to take a break and eat it with her. They sat down in the break room and discussed Sam's death. When Jordan asked how Molly was doing, TJ admitted that he and Alexis had forgotten Molly's birthday.

TJ shared that Molly didn't get angry, but he was angry at himself. Jordan told him that it was the day before Sam's funeral, so nobody was thinking about birthdays. "Kristin and Ric were. The two most self-centered people I know remembered Molly's birthday — and I forgot," TJ said.
