In the Quartermaine foyer, Nina asked an angry and silent Jason if he was going to congratulate his brother on becoming a congressman. Drew put on his fake smile and offered Jason his hand to shake. Jason promptly decked Drew across the mouth, sending him onto the floor.
Drew got up to fight back, but Jason was too strong and kept pummeling his kinda identical twin. A frantic Nina yelled for them to stop as Brook Lynn and Lois emerged from the living room. Ned finally appeared to pull Jason off Drew. When Drew looked at Jason and asked why he punched him, Jason replied, "You know why," before promptly exiting through the front door.
Nina and the Quartermaine women tended to Drew. Lois insisted he needed to go to the ER, but Ned didn't want another front-page scandal. Drew agreed that he didn't need that attention after just being elected to Congress. Nina wanted to get Willow to check Drew's eye. She also wanted to call the police, but Ned refused to get the cops involved.
At the gatehouse, Michael asked Willow how she felt about Drew moving to DC. Willow admitted that she was glad Drew was leaving town. "With Drew in DC, you won't be forced to have a daily reminder of what I did staring at you in the face," Willow said.

Michael wondered if Drew's departure would be enough to save their marriage. Willow believed it wasn't too late, but Michael wanted to get the truth on the table. Michael told Willow that he wanted to move past their problems. Willow agreed, but Michael had a caveat. "For two people who say they want a life together, we're not exactly truthful with each other," Michael said.
Willow apologized again for keeping the truth about the kiss a secret. Michael bought up all their past secrets, including when he didn't mention that he'd hired Dex to take down Sonny and when he neglected to mention that Nina was the one who turned Carly and Drew in to the SEC.
Michael insisted that there couldn't be any more secrets between them. As Willow and Michael prepared for honesty, Nina swooped in and asked Willow to tend to Drew. When they got to the main house, Willow examined Drew's eye as Michael looked on. Ned took Michael into the foyer and asked if he had told Jason about Drew and Willow.
Back in the living room, Willow quietly asked Drew if Jason somehow knew they'd had sex. Drew was sure there was no way he could have found out.
In the kitchen, Lois finally got the truth out of Brook Lynn that Drew and Willow had kissed. Brook Lynn didn't even know the rest of the story.
Alexis agreed to help Kristina prepare her testimony for Ava's trial but was alarmed by Kristina's thirst for revenge. Kristina believed it was an open-and-shut case, but Alexis warned her daughter that things might work out the way she wanted. Kristina was confused as she believed the truth would set her free and send Ava to jail.
Alexis believed that Ric might be able to pull off a miracle for Ava and wanted Kristina to be prepared. "He is very smart. He is very shrewd. And he will set a trap that you will walk right into, and he won't even bat an eye," Alexis said. Kristina continued to lament that Ava had to pay for all her past crimes and the alleged crime of killing the baby.
"I want Ava to know the unbearable pain of Avery being ripped out of her arms, and I want her to know it was because of me," Kristina told an alarmed Alexis. "The legal system isn't about revenge. The law is about justice," Alexis reminded. She also warned Kristina that she couldn't act vengeful on the stand.
Ava and Ric met up at the Port Charles Grille to discuss her trial. He reminded her a win was not a slam dunk, but he felt he could get her off. Ava asked if Ric still planned on painting Kristina as an explosive and unpredictable woman. "You mean like you?" Ric wondered.
Ric warned Ava that the prosecution was going to paint her in a negative light. Ava insisted that she wasn't a monster and wasn't a baby killer. Ric believed her but worried she might have an outburst under cross-examination. Ric also needed Ava to know the prosecution would bring up her past. Ava wondered if she should still testify. Ric assured her that her testimony was the best weapon they had.
Ric told Ava he wouldn't judge her because he also had a checkered past. Ava and Ric wondered if they were more alike than they originally believed. Ric then gave Ava an example of the kind of questions the prosecution might ask. They included questions about both Connie's and Morgan's deaths. Ava admitted that she had changed Morgan's bipolar meds, but the explosion was not her fault.
Ava went on to describe sleepless nights, remembering the moment Kristina fell. The look on Kristina's face and the sound of the glass breaking haunted Ava, but she was adamant that she would never purposely hurt a pregnant woman. Ric was amazed by every word Ava said and wanted her to say the exact same thing on the stand.
Trina was pleasantly surprised to run into TJ at the boxing gym. They made some small talk about their workouts before Trina asked how Molly was coping with Sam's death. TJ admitted that he's barely seen her. TJ explained how distant Molly had been ever since baby Irene died. Trina encouraged TJ and assured him he and Molly would figure things out. TJ worried that all of Molly's losses would be too much for her.
As Trina and TJ worked out, Kai walked in and immediately distracted Trina. She was not happy to see him at all. TJ was impressed that Trina knew the PCU star quarterback. Later, Kai approached Trina and promised her he would participate in their project. Trina told him not to bother because she had asked for a new partner.
Molly sat at a table at Bobbie's reading Little Women. After she put down the book, Isaiah stopped by her table and commented on her reading choice. "You must be in the mood for a good cry," Isaiah said.
Molly told Isaiah that today was her birthday so she bought herself a new copy of Little Women as a birthday gift. Isaiah was surprised to hear that everyone close to Molly had forgotten her birthday. Molly said that her sister had just died, so she understood why nobody was thinking about her birthday. When Molly explained that her sister had died after donating part of her liver, Isaiah knew the sister she was referring to was Sam.
Isaiah introduced himself as the surgeon who performed Lulu's transplant. He once again told Molly that he was sorry for her loss. Isaiah sat with Molly, determined to help her enjoy what was left of her birthday. He even got her a cupcake with a candle on it. Later, as Molly prepared to leave, Kristina arrived and gave her a birthday gift.
