Josslyn entered Cyrus' secret hideout in the woods and started looking around. She found various innocuous items before coming upon an envelope full of hospital bracelets. As she snapped a pic of the bracelets, Cyrus opened the door. He walked away and returned with an ax, terrifying Joss.
"You killed Sam. You killed Dex. You monster," Joss whispered. A crazed Cyrus responded with, "Samantha and Dex got in the way of my mission and now you have, too, and I can't allow that," he threatened while wielding the ax. Joss wasted no time grabbing Dex's gun from her pocket.
As Cyrus approached her with the ax, Joss shot him point blank as he fell to the floor. A bloodied Cyrus gasped for air as he told a shaking Joss, "Now you're the murderer." He then lost consciousness with his eyes open. Josslyn carefully checked his body to see if he was dead before calling Jack Brennan for help.
Lucky pulled the syringe of Digitalis out of his leg while Elizabeth begged the paramedics to hurry. Cyrus took the opportunity to run out the door just before Lucky collapsed on the floor. Liz stayed on the phone with 911 while she used her nursing skills to try and revive Lucky.

Anna stopped by Laura's office to discuss the Esplanade project with Jordan and the mayor. Laura was worried about a potential battle between Sonny and Sidwell, so she wanted Anna's opinion on who was the biggest threat. Anna assured Laura she would arrest Sonny if she had evidence to do so but also mentioned that Drew encouraged it.
Jordan was immediately alarmed that Drew had approached Anna about that. She wasn't worried about Sonny but how quickly Drew wanted to align himself with Sidwell. Laura worried about the same thing. Jordan thought Drew using his congressman privileges to empower Sidwell was dangerous. "I'd rather deal with a devil I know in Sonny than the devil we don't know in Sidwell," Jordan reasoned.
Jordan admitted that Drew wasn't the same man she once knew. Anna said she was surprised when Drew made it clear that he planned to go after Sonny and Jason. The women were most alarmed by Drew's willingness to partner with Sidwell. The three of them realized Drew could no longer be trusted.
Just then, Anna got a call she had to take in the hall. She learned what had happened at Liz's house as Laura also got a call. It was Liz telling her to get to GH right away.
Liz arrived at the ER with Lucky and told Isaiah that Lucky had been injected with Digitalis. She then found Laura and updated her on what happened. Laura was confused, especially when she learned that Cyrus had killed Sam. Liz explained everything Cyrus told her, including his motives as a mercy killer.
Laura was horrified by Liz's tale. "Cyrus wanted to release Lulu. He's the reason her liver failed," Liz said.
When Anna got to Liz's house, she got the rundown from one of her officers and learned what happened. She vented that now Lucky was fighting for his life and could die, just as Aiden walked in. Anna brought Aiden to GH, where he ran to his mother. Liz assured Aiden she was okay.
Dante and Lulu finally got there and found Anna. Dante wanted to go after Cyrus himself. Anna was all for it, telling him, "We could use all the help we can get," she said. Anna then got a call about Cyrus' car headed to the outskirts of town.
In the waiting area, Isaiah approached Lulu, Aiden, and Laura with an update on Lucky.
Brook Lynn was surprised to see a half-naked Chase lying across their bed with rose petals. He had champagne and chocolates ready, leading Brook Lynn to wonder how she got so lucky.
Chase didn't think she was that Lucky because he couldn't give Brook Lynn a baby, but he wanted to do whatever he could for her, so he planned this romantic evening. Brook Lynn reasoned that they could still be parents. It just wouldn't happen in the way they had planned.
Brook Lynn was willing to adopt or foster a child. "However we bring a child into our lives, we'll be doing it together, and they will always be a part of the both of us," Brook Lynn stressed. Chase worried that it wouldn't be fair to Brook Lynn if they adopted a child because she wanted to experience pregnancy. As Chase went on and on about what Brook Lynn would be losing, she finally blurted out, "Please stop. I have had a baby."
Before arriving at GH, Lulu continued her talk with Dante. She was in shock to learn that Brook Lynn and Chase couldn't have children due to a fertility issue. Lulu immediately wondered if Brook Lynn was okay, so Dante blabbed that the issue was with Chase. All Lulu could do was remember how excited the Quartermaines were with the prospect of Brook Lynn becoming pregnant.
Dante felt bad for his friend as he knew the joys that being a father brings. He also wanted Brook Lynn to be a mother because she deserved it. "I wish you knew the Brook Lynn that I do," Dante told Lulu. Dante assured Lulu that Brook Lynn felt awful about trying to seduce him all those years ago when he was already with Lulu. "Brook Lynn and I are friends. That's it. And if you see her as someone who wants something more than that with me, you're wrong. It couldn't be further from the truth," Dante insisted.
Lulu admitted that she felt Brook Lynn had replaced her. She was Maxie's best friend and a confidante for Dante. Lulu wondered if she had a place in anyone's life anymore. Lulu worried she was being selfish, but Dante insisted that she wasn't. Lulu then got a call from Jordan to meet her mother at the hospital.
Jason visited Sam's grave to talk to the woman he was once married to. "I really need to talk to you. I need to make a choice tonight between what I want and what I think you'd want," he said.
An emotional Jason told Sam that he knew he could kill Cyrus and get away with it. In fact, he wanted to kill him, but there was one thing holding him back. "I know you'd want me to put our son before my need for vengeance...and I promised you I'd always put Danny first," Jason admitted.
Willow was taken aback when Drew asked her to move in with him. "I want this place to be a home. For you, for me, and our families," he said. Willow wasn't sure she wanted to move her kids again.
Drew tried to make the idea seem appealing, claiming the kids could have a yard and swing set. Drew thought it would be perfect, but Willow reminded him that "nothing about our situation is perfect." Willow hadn't even told Wiley that she and Michael had separated. She hadn't even thought of moving in with Drew. "Wiley still thinks his dad's coming home, and we're going to be a family again. Moving him and Amelia in right now just feels wrong," Willow explained.
Willow assured Drew that she cared about him, so Drew decided not to pressure her right now. "We have the rest of our lives to be together," he said. Drew even wanted to tell her kids about their relationship, but Willow was not comfortable with that yet, especially with Michael still in a burn unit.
Drew then took Willow back to Nina's. When he returned home, he found Jason standing in his living room. "I'm here to make peace," Jason said, but Drew wasn't ready for that. "Why the hell would I want to make peace with you?" he asked. "For Sam," Jason simply said.
Stella finished her Valentine's evening at The Savoy with Curtis. He needed a favor that only Stella could provide. Curtis wanted Stella to introduce him to a congressman she knew from Baltimore "before Drew destroys everything I'm building."
Curtis explained what Drew was up to, telling Stella that his friend had changed and was now obsessed with revenge. Stella felt Drew brought all of his problems on himself and agreed to help Curtis.
