Outside of Bobbie’s, Sasha ran into a dog named Mavis who, according to its owner, knew she was pregnant. Sasha shared that her due date is July 23rd. When she came in, she saw Jason talking to Sonny. Sonny was telling Jason that he told the doctor he’d be back in three months and wanted to use the time to find out who firebombed his apartment. He saw Jason and Sasha’s knowing looks as she walked by, but he didn’t tell Sonny about the pregnancy. Jason didn’t want Sonny to take chances with his life and didn’t want him to put off the surgery. Sonny pointed out he’d need a couple of weeks for recovery, and the meds would work until then, but it couldn’t be business as usual as something had to give. Jason got called away to the station to talk to Anna but before he left, he reiterated to Sonny that he always had his back.

When Felicia joined Sasha at her table, Sasha told her about the dog she met outside. “I know Mavis!” Felicia exclaimed. She said that Mavis’ owner was Elaine, a private investigator. Felicia elaborated that Elaine used Mavis as a distraction so that her targets wouldn’t realize they spilled their guts to a P.I. After Felicia left, Sasha called Elaine’s office to find out where she was. She told a story about their dogs meeting up, and the receptionist gave her the information.

In the park, Elaine met with Martin. She said she couldn’t find anything shady about Michael, but there might be something about the Quartermaine cook. “Beautiful woman, but she seems dumb,” Elaine noted. She added that Sasha was pregnant. Elaine thought that Sasha would be full of information she would have heard in the Q kitchen. She asked Marty to give her a little more time as Sasha trusted her, and the long shot always paid off big.

Sasha went to the park and found Elaine. She said that the baby felt like a walk, so she obliged. Elaine got a call from Martin and asked Sasha to watch Mavis so she could walk away to talk. While Elaine’s back was turned, Sasha let Mavis run away. Elaine saw and ran after her dog. Sasha was able to grab Elaine’s notepad out of her purse, but she heard wheels screeching and saw there was an accident on the street.

Anna saw Dante at the station and ordered him out immediately. She told him he didn’t have a choice as she wouldn’t compromise the case, and if he wanted a job to come back to, he needed to leave. Dante reluctantly left. Anna joined Chase in her office and said it broke her heart to shut him out. Chase admitted he told Dante that Cyrus was a suspect.

Chase explained Dante wasn’t just his partner, he was his friend. He shared that Danny overheard and confronted Cyrus, and Jason threatened Cyrus. Chase realized everything traced back to him. Anna was upset at everyone’s actions. She said she needed Cyrus to be alive in order to bring him to justice.

Ric came to the hospital to check on Elizabeth after the scene at the park with Ava. He said that Kristina could help Sonny win custody. Elizabeth didn’t think it was that bad of a situation. Ric confirmed that Elizabeth wouldn’t be testifying. He started to ask her to go out, but she got called away. Later, Chase came to the hospital and questioned if Elizabeth had heard Jason threaten Cyrus. She said she didn’t hear a word, and he’d have to rely on other witnesses.

Cody saw Molly getting on the elevator at the hospital and tracked her downstairs to apologize for how he treated her. “You mean when you were on a chain gang in lock up?” Molly quipped. She tried to walk away as he continued. “I wasn’t myself that night,” Cody explained. “You weren’t somebody better, either,” Molly snapped. She accepted his apology but said she was in a hurry. He asked her to let him finish as he’d been working himself up to be able to talk to her and needed to get it out but Molly rushed off and ditched him.

Cody followed Molly to the roof and asked what her problem was since he was trying to be nice. “Are you stalking me?” she snapped. She told him he couldn’t pick up on social cues that she had to get the hell out of there. He asked if she needed help or was in trouble. She said if his apology was sincere, he’d leave her alone. Cody went to leave, but the door was locked.

Molly tried the door as well, then yelled at Cody for not propping the door open, but he pointed out she hadn’t done that before he arrived. They squabbled about his apology and why it was even needed. He said he left his phone in his coat pocket downstairs and couldn’t call for help. Molly’s battery was dead on her phone.

Once they realized they were stuck together and Cody was cold, Molly forgave Cody and said she was glad not to be stuck out there alone. They chatted as they shivered, and Cody asked why Molly was on the roof. She said she was trying not to draw attention to herself as she’d requested documents she wasn’t allowed to have and didn’t want to get caught with them.

Ric recited everything he’d planned against Sonny and how he planned to win her case. Ava called him an evil genius, and they began kissing until Sonny knocked on the door, calling out that they needed to talk.

Nina went to Bobbie’s and saw Sonny. He said he was waiting for Diane, but she was stuck in court, so Nina sat with him. Nina was being compassionate about the bombing, and Sonny said that part of him wanted to tell her everything that was going on. “But it just occurred to me that everyone you’re close to is who I’m up against,” Sonny noted.

Nina acknowledged things were terrible between their kids. She wished Michael and Willow could be left alone long enough to figure out what they wanted. Nina suggested that whatever made the kids happy and safe should be what mattered. Sonny said he had to go; Nina warmly told Sonny it was good to see him.

Nina came for her breakfast meeting with Ava, but she had forgotten about it. Nina divulged to Ava that they were gearing up for a custody fight and was worried Willow would lose the kids, only to find out that Drew wasn’t who she thought. Nina shared that she started to tell Willow the truth, but then she started saying that she needed Nina more than anyone, and it felt good. Nina knew if she told Willow that she and Drew had been having sex, it would have changed everything. Ava supported Nina’s decision. “It’s obvious that Willow needs you more than she needs the truth,” Ava told her.

Ric arrived, and Ava almost told Nina about their relationship, but Ric interrupted her. Nina swapped barbs with Ric as Nina left. Once alone, Ava asked if Ric didn’t want anyone to know about them. Ric made up an excuse that if their relationship became public knowledge, he couldn’t represent her. Ric shared that Liz wasn’t going to back up Kristina’s story that Ava tried to kidnap Avery.

In Alexis’ office, Kristina told her mom that she was worried about Danny as he thinks he knows who killed Sam. She told her mom how Danny accused Cyrus, and she got involved, and then Jason threatened to kill Cyrus. “And the whole room heard it?” Alexis confirmed. Alexis said she needed to talk to Jason because he couldn’t get involved.

Dante came in and Alexis questioned if Danny’s theory was true and how he found out. Dante admitted it was from him. Kristina shared that Jason threatened Cyrus and thought he wasn’t going to last a week since Danny didn’t make empty threats.

At the station, Anna questioned Jason, but he refused to give her any information. She scolded him for threatening Cyrus. He told Anna that he saw Cyrus’ hand on his son’s shoulder and he was protecting Danny. Anna reminded him he did that in front of a room full of people but Jason didn’t care. He said he would protect his son no matter what. Anna could see that Jason had his mind made up about Cyrus’ guilt, and she needed him to be alive when she brought him in. She arrested Jason for threatening Cyrus.
