Lucy and Sonny sat down for a chat at the Metro Court. Sonny was looking for a new home and wanted Lucy's help. He needed a place comfortable for his young daughters but also secure enough so that everyone was safe. Lucy immediately knew of the right place.
Lulu and shared a reunion at Bobbie's before getting down to business. Lulu wanted Spinelli's help tracking Valentin and Charlotte down. Spinelli insisted that he had been looking but had come up empty. He managed to track Valentin to Switzerland, but the trail went cold.
Lulu needed Spinelli to help her get past the security system at Valentin's old house so she could search the place for clues. Spinelli hedged and tried to get Lulu to focus on Rocco and her recovery, but Lulu was relentless. She finally had to stop and cover for herself — claiming she was just catching up with an old friend — when Dante and Gio walked in.
Dante didn't buy it at all but knew when he wasn't wanted. "I'll let you get you guys get back to your super casual, not-at-all-suspicious catch-up," he said.

Lulu finally convinced Spinelli to help her, so they sat in a car outside Valentin's old place while he fiddled with the alarm system via his laptop. He couldn't guarantee anything, but Spinelli felt there was a good chance Lulu could break in and not get caught.
Lulu became emotional when she walked through the front door because she realized this was Charlotte's last home in Port Charles. While they were searching, they heard Lucy and Sonny outside, as this was the house Lucy had in mind for a new Corinthos abode.
Spinelli and Lulu hid while Lucy put on her real estate hat and showed Sonny around. Sonny was especially taken with the 12-foot hedges. Sonny was ready to walk into the office and find Lulu and Spinelli when Kristina appeared out of nowhere. "Dad, are you seriously considering buying Valentin Cassadine's old house?" she asked.
Lucy covered for herself and assured Sonny she was going to tell him about the previous owner. "This is a fabulous house, and I wanted you to love it with no preconceptions," she explained. She informed Sonny that Marty was handling the sale, which gave Lulu more impetus to investigate her uncle. At that point, Kristina morphed into a new human and was gung-ho about Sonny buying the house.
When Lucy, Sonny, and Kristina left to draw up an offer, Lulu told Spinelli that they now needed to search Marty's place.
Lois walked in on Tracy and Alexis arguing in the Quartermaine living room. Alexis was there in place of Diane to remind Tracy about the Q crypt being on public land. Tracy insisted that Marty's land survey had to be a forgery, and she wouldn't be railroaded into giving Drew his name back.
Before they could blink, Marty appeared. Alexis had invited him, hoping they could resolve the matter peacefully. Tracy was ready to bankrupt the city with a long lawsuit, but Alexis reminded her that the Quartermaines would be removed from their final resting spots in the meantime. Tracy gave in, but Marty then shocked everyone by saying he would still report the Qs to the city.
Alexis managed to calm both Tracy and Martin down, with Martin agreeing to let the crypt issue go as long as he didn't have to listen to Tracy anymore. Unfortunately, Tracy began speaking again, Marty began arguing, and the crypt drama was back on.
Back at Bobbie's, Dante told Gio he knew Lulu was up to something. He guessed that Lulu was trying to get Spinelli to hack into something so she could find Charlotte.
Gio finally revealed why he wanted to speak to Dante. He didn't feel he fit in at the Quartermaine house because his only connection to the family was the fact that his Aunt Lois had been married to Ned at one time. With Dante's only connection being Olivia, he thought Dante would understand. Dante assured Gio that everyone liked having him, so he shouldn't concern himself with these things.
"Not everyone," Gio said, referring to Tracy. Dante reminded Gio that everyone gets on Tracy's bad side at some point. Gio explained that he had argued with Tracy about Drew's last name and how it was important for Scout to have her father's name just as it was important to him to have the name of the dad he never knew.
Gio was pleased to learn that Tracy respected people more when they stood up to her, although she'd never admit it. Just then, Tracy called and demanded to see Dante immediately. Dante and Gio returned home so Tracy could order Dante to arrest Marty for trespassing.
Dante refused to do as Tracy said. He asked Marty to leave and suggested Tracy leave the matter alone for the evening since the courts were already closed. Gio chimed in with "5-5-5" and explained that his mother would always tell him to stop for five minutes and assess if he'd remember what he was angry about in five months or five years.
Tracy did a double-take because Lila used to say the same thing to her. "She would say, 'Tracy, will it really matter in the end?'" Alexis took that as her clue to walk Martin out, but Lois did it instead. "Gio, you gave me a lot to think about. Thank you," Tracy said. Dante was pleased that his assessment of Tracy was right.
However, once alone with Alexis, Tracy asked her to still file the cease and desist. She did take Gio's advice and realized the Q name would still mean something in five years. "Drew can never be associated again with this family," she declared. Alexis warned Tracy that Marty would retaliate. Tracy didn't care. She'd get her own property survey done, and it would say "exactly what I want it to say," Tracy noted.
Outside, Marty and Lois discussed Gio. Marty knew he was Lois' grandson and was impressed.
In the Q kitchen, Jason assured Sasha that he had no plans of telling her what to do. Sasha ended up filling Jason in on her evening and the offer Carly made her to be the new Metro Court chef. Sasha could even live at the hotel until she saved enough money for her own place.
Sasha was exasperated when Jason offered to just give her the money. "I don't want that. I want to do this on my own. I want to be independent," Sasha reiterated. Jason just felt that his suggestion was practical, but Sasha didn't agree. "If anyone should understand how I feel, it's you," she added.
Sasha reached way back nearly 30 years and brought up Jason Q's transformation into Jason Morgan. "When you moved out of here after your accident, did you take any family money for your nest egg?" she asked. When Jason said no, she reminded him it would have been the practical thing to do.
"Well, I didn't even remember my family and if I had, I wouldn't want them running my life," he said. Jason felt his and Sasha's situations were totally different. Sasha said she just wanted to give her baby the best life possible. "Last time, I couldn't. I never had a chance," she said, referring to Liam's death. Sasha put an end to the conversation, so Jason walked away.
As soon as Sasha was alone in the kitchen, Sidwell walked in the back door saying, "I thought he'd never leave." Sasha immediately picked up a kitchen mallet as a weapon and demanded that Sidwell leave. Sidwell got Sasha to put down the mallet because he had a business opportunity.
"If you persuade Deception's leadership that the warehouse incident was just a huge misunderstanding, I will pay you handsomely," he said. Sasha's ears perked up when he offered her $250,000. Sidwell asked that Sasha just tell the Deception ladies that he never would have targeted her if it wasn't for Holly deceiving him.
The idea of all that money was appealing to Sasha, but she never got a chance to give Sidwell an answer because Jason returned and ordered Sidwell to get away from Sasha.
Brad bought Lucas a drink at the Miami hotel bar. Brad pretended he was fascinated by the seminars they'd attended, but Lucas knew Brad was only there for the vacation aspect of the trip. They remembered a trip Lucas had wanted to take years ago that Brad wasn't thrilled with. Brad admitted that he agreed to the trip to make Lucas happy.
Lucas assured Brad that he never needed to do anything just to appease him because he loved their life together. "I was always worried you were trying to change who you were for me," Lucas admitted. Brad said he wanted to be a better person for Lucas. "All I wanted was not to hurt you, and that's exactly what I ended up doing," Brad sighed.
Lucas had his own confession. He kept his distance from Brad the last few years because remembering their good times together hurt more than remembering the bad. Then, when they started working together again at GH, Lucas would find himself looking for Brad on his break.
"Are you saying there can be an us again?" Brad asked just before Lucas pulled him in for a kiss. Brad's dreams came true when they ended up going from the hotel bar to a hotel room. Before they went too far, Brad stopped Lucas. "I can't do this. Not until I tell you the truth," he finally said.
Portia filled Curtis in on the Miami symposium. She was jealous that Lucas and Brad were in the Florida sun, but Curtis told his wife that she didn't need to be jealous much longer. He was taking her to their own beach paradise. Before Portia could get too excited about the idea, Drew showed up.
Drew was furious that his seat on the appropriations committee seemed to be slipping away thanks to a congressman from Baltimore who was friends with Stella. Curtis brushed it off. "My auntie has a lot of friends," was all he would say.
"You got your aunt to do your dirty work and screw me over," Drew accused. "You did that to yourself," Curtis replied. Curtis admitted he spoke to Congressman Henderson and just suggested that he look into the Esplanade project. "You made a big mistake, Curtis. You take something from me, I take something from you," Drew threatened.
Portia couldn't stand listening to Drew so she interjected. "For God's sake, Drew, stop it. Curtis was your friend. He stood by you. He would have stood by you till the end. But you betrayed him. You betrayed your friend," she said. Drew insisted it was the other way around and Curtis betrayed him. Curtis didn't care what excuse Drew had. He was just happy he could get he esplanade off the ground.
"Now it can be approved by the committee without you or your spite getting in the way," Curtis said. After Drew had walked away, Portia still worried that Drew could cause them problems.
Portia was right because Drew went straight to Selina to ask what dirt she had on Curtis. She did one better and gave Drew the dirt she had on Portia, courtesy of Brad.
