Emma wasn't pleased when Maxie sat down with her at the surf cafe. Maxie didn't care how Emma felt and gave her some advice on how to live with Anna. Maxie reminded Emma that her grandmother was an inexperienced spy who could always tell when someone was lying.

Emma assured Maxie she could handle it. Maxie disagreed but offered to be a sounding board for Emma if she ever needed one. Just then, Sasha walked in, so Maxie told Emma to find another table so she could speak with Sasha in private.

Sasha told Maxie that the Quartermaines now knew she was pregnant, although she had not wanted to tell them yet. Maxie was excited to hear that Sasha had felt the baby move. "I was talking to Jason and then all of a sudden I felt a flutter," Sasha joyfully said.

That prompted Maxie to bring up the rumor Cody has been spreading around. "Some people think that Jason Morgan is the father," Maxie said, much to Sasha's utter surprise. Emma overheard the conversation and also seemed taken aback. Sasha started to grow frustrated, asking, "Why can't people just leave me alone? It's nobody's business but mine who my baby's father is, and people just need to accept that."

"There's a simple way to get people to put a stop to the rumor that Jason is the daddy. Just...tell people he's not," Maxie suggested. Sasha gave her friend an emphatic "NO!" Maxie pointed out that the more Sasha stonewalled, the more it looked like she had something to hide. "I am thrilled to be having this baby and the least I can do for the father is to leave him out of it," she said.

Emma returned to the table she was sharing with Gio and told him what she'd just heard. "You're never going to believe this. Sasha is pregnant with Jason Morgan's baby," she said. Gio insisted that Jason wasn't the father because Jason was there when Sasha told the Qs she was pregnant. Emma didn't think that proved anything.

Emma was ready to tell her mother and grandfather about Sasha's baby news, but Gio tried to stop her. "I got a bad feeling about this," he said.

At the Metro Court bar, Laura and Jordan discussed the Sidwell situation. Laura found him to be charming and cordial but predicted he would be a major problem for Port Charles. Laura worried that Lucky would go after Sidwell and Sidwell would retaliate.

Jordan was amazed that there were no outstanding warrants for Sidwell's arrest and wondered what kind of pull he had with law enforcement. Jordan wasn't surprised when Laura mentioned that Anna believed he was behind the fire in Sonny's penthouse.

After Laura left, Isaiah met Jordan at the bar. Jordan wasn't happy to deliver the news about Sidwell. Isaiah was surprised but not very worried. He didn't think Sidwell would come after him again.

When Isaiah left to take a phone call, Sidwell got off the elevator. Jordan's moved Isaiah's beer so it would appear she was alone. Jordan greeted Sidwell so he sat down next to her. She welcomed him to Port Charles and pretended to be his friend.

Elizabeth got news of a heart attack victim at Turning Woods who didn't have a heart problem. When she gave Lucky the news, they wondered how many other people Cyrus had killed.

Laura soon stopped by Liz's place and stunned Lucky when she told him Sidwell was in Port Charles and she had met with him. However, Lucky was not surprised he would buy a place like Wyndemere. Elizabeth didn't quite understand how this murderous man was taking meetings with the mayor.

Lucky explained that the place where Sidwell tried to kill him had no laws. Laura assured Lucky that Anna and the WSB were keeping an eye on Sidwell. Laura made Lucky promise her he'd be careful and not go after Sidwell. "I doubt he'll come looking for a card game, but if he does, I will tell him to shuffle off," Lucky assured his mother.

Once alone, Liz had a pointed question for Lucky. "Are you just going to pretend that you don't care that the man who was holding you prisoner is here in Port Charles?" Lucky admitted that he did care — and that being Sidwell's prisoner was "hell." Lucky also confessed that Jason had the chance to kill Sidwell when they were in Somalia, but Lucky convinced him not to.

Lulu was taken aback to see Brook Lynn hugging Dante. Brook Lynn quickly made an exit and Dante quickly told Lulu the scene she walked in on wasn't what it looked like. Lulu told Dante that he didn't owe her any apologies. Dante changed the subject and informed Lulu that Anna had ordered him to take paid leave. He was shut off from Sam's murder investigation.

"It's not going to bring her back, but at least I would have felt like I was doing something," Dante said. Lulu reminded him that this was grief and there wasn't an easy fix. Lulu then apologized for how she treated Dante when they were in Prague.

"If it seems that I am not grateful for Sam's sacrifice, nothing could be further from the truth. I respect and appreciate the generosity and bravery and the kind-heartedness that motivated her gift to me," she said.

Lulu told Dante that he could talk to her about Sam if he wanted. Dante confessed that he had been questioning everything like "whether or not I told her I loved her enough." Dante felt guilty for not being around the last weeks of Sam's life because he was preoccupied with Lulu's health.

"I had my eye on that ring for months, but when she told me she was going to be your donor, I realized I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I couldn't wait till Sam woke up so I could propose to her," Dante said with sadness.

Dante opened up to Lulu about his future plans had Sam lived. He wanted to take her and the family to Italy and drive around the countryside but alas, that will never happen. Dante stopped himself and wondered why he was telling Lulu all this. Lulu assured Dante that she didn't mind. "What you said was beautiful, and I am so grateful you had a love like that. I wouldn't want a thing to change except how it ended," Lulu said.

Dante admitted that he didn't blame Lulu for what happened to Sam. "Thank you for not blaming me. And for talking to me. We've been fighting so much lately I've almost forgotten what it was like not to," she said.

Back at the Metro Court, Lois met up with Brook Lynn, who worried about telling Dante that he fathered a child when he was in high school. "Dante is at his limit now. To find out he has another child out there...that would just put him over. I can't do that to him. I can't do that to the child. They might not know that they were adopted," Brook Lynn admitted.

Brook Lynn realized that telling Chase the truth would do more harm than good. "I need to live with the choice I made years ago and keep the baby's existence a secret and the adoption sealed," Brook Lynn declared. Brook Lynn also admitted that she wondered about the baby sometimes. After all, she had no idea if it was even a boy or a girl.

Sonny dropped by Alexis' office to talk about Sam's murder. Alexis said she didn't want to discuss her feelings, but Sonny told her she could "let it out" with him. Alexis admitted that she had, but it hadn't helped. "Apparently, I'm just meant to be in pain," she said.

Alexis explained that she was comforted by the idea that Sam was meant to give her life for someone else, but now she knew that was not what had happened. "She died because somebody killed her, and that is something I'm going to have to live with for the rest of my life."

Alexis did her best to hold back the tears, but they started flowing. "If you need someone to hold onto, I'm here," Sonny told her. Alexis finally broke down, crying, "I hate this world where someone can randomly kill my daughter."

"When you lose your child, it's another kind of grief. I just want you to know I'm here for you," Sonny said as he choked back tears.

After Alexis fixed her makeup, Laura arrived to talk to Alexis about Sidwell. As soon as Laura said his name, Sonny's ears perked up. Laura explained that he had relocated to Port Charles and bought Wyndemere. Alexis reported that Sidwell seemed pleasant enough, but she could tell something more was going on.

Curtis arrived at the hospital at Trina's behest. She wanted him to talk to Kai, believing Kai could relate to him because Curtis had spent time in a wheelchair. Curtis admitted his situation wasn't the same as Kai's but could tell him what rehab was like.

"I'll be happy to speak to your friend, but don't expect any miracles. Kai's gotta go through this on his own time," Curtis said.

Kai's football buddy Quinn paid him a visit and was surprised to learn that Kai would never be playing football anymore. When Curtis walked in, Quinn left. Curtis introduced himself as Trina's dad and told him about being left paralyzed after the shooting at the Metro Court pool. Curtis gave Kai permission to be angry and feel everything he was feeling.

Kai was not very receptive to everything that Curtis had to say, but Curtis left Kai his card and told him to call him any time. After Curtis left, Kai texted Trina and asked her to come by tomorrow.
