Tracy opened the front door to Lulu and quickly embraced her as Brook Lynn looked on from the top of the stairs. Lulu had only one thing on her mind — finding Charlotte. Tracy warned Lulu that she couldn't look for Charlotte on her own. Tracy convinced Lulu to give the authorities some time to find the teen. If they couldn't, Tracy would help Lulu with Quartermaine resources.
Tracy needed Lulu to make a promise. "I don't want you to forget that you have a son, a son who's been waiting four years to spend Christmas with you. You need to be there for Rocco," she said.
Laura happily greeted Lucky and Elizabeth at Rice Plaza. Aiden was out with friends so wouldn't be joining them. Laura couldn't believe her luck having Lucky and Lulu home for Christmas for the first time in years. Elizabeth was in awe of the tree. Lucky stared at Elizabeth as if he was in awe of her.
Dante and Rocco soon arrived. Rocco ran off to get a snack and Dante agreed to maybe stop by Laura's on Christmas Day. After Dante walked away to say hello to Laura, Liz noted that she could tell Dante was still grieving Sam and just going through the motions.

Lulu finally joined Laura and Lucky. After greeting them and promising to enjoy the family she was with, she went to find Dante and Rocco. She found Dante first as Rocco stood off to the side. When Rocco looked at his phone, he had a text from an international number. The person signed the text "C". Rocco didn't seem surprised by the text. He also took a snap of Dante and Rocco on his phone and sent it to "C".
Soon after the text went through, Rocco's phone rang. Rocco told the person on the other end that "she" was right there. He handed the phone to Lulu, who was stunned to hear Charlotte's voice on the other end.
Charlotte was practically in tears when she heard her mother's voice but told Lulu that she couldn't give her location. She wasn't supposed to be calling or texting anyone. Lulu finally got an answer out of Charlotte and promised she would be there right away. After she hung up, Lulu asked Rocco to keep the call between them.
Elsewhere in Rice Plaza, a young woman ran into Gio, called him Doug, and handed him a wallet to hold onto before running away. Gio listened to a man tell a cop that his wallet was stolen just as the girl returned and asked for the wallet back. "Absolutely not. You stole it," he told her.
The girl admitted that she had done just that, but the man deserved it. Gio still wanted to turn her in, but the girl said not doing so would be his Christmas good deed. She explained that the man she stole the wallet from had stolen from an older woman selling handmade ornaments. Gio believed her and handed back the wallet. The girl took the cash out of it and gave the wallet to the cop.
The Scorpios gathered in Maxie's house were thrilled to see Cody. James was extra thrilled, especially after Cody gave him his favorite cowboy hat as a Christmas gift. The hat was a little big, but James didn't care.
Sasha was also happy to spend the holiday with her new family. Anna even hinted toward a special surprise, intriguing Spinelli, Sasha, and Felicia. Unfortunately, Maxie declared an emergency when she couldn't remember where she hid the kids' gifts. As Maxie and Spinelli searched for presents, Mac took Cody aside and told him he was there if Cody ever wanted to talk.
Sasha approached Anna to ask questions about Robert. She wished she'd had a chance to get to know him. Sasha worried that Robert might never return to Port Charles, but Anna assured her that he would and it would be "worth the wait."
Later, when Anna opened the door to her big surprise, Emma was standing there. Emma was also the girl who handed Gio the wallet in Rice Plaza.
Back at the Q mansion, Jason and Ned caught up in the kitchen while Ned tried to figure out how to make a cheese wheel. Jason was happy to bring some food up to Monica, who was again under the weather. Jason was happy his presence could help Monica, but Ned liked having Jason there. "I'm glad you finally decided to move home," Ned said to the cousin whose accident he witnessed 29 years ago next week.
"If Grandfather could see you now...living in the Quartermaine house," Ned marveled. Jason reminded Ned that he'd only moved back in for Danny's sake. Ned understood but still believed Edward would be tickled pink about Jason's presence.
"I used to pray for the day that Grandfather would cast you aside like you did us, but he never did. He believed in you. I'm starting to see what he saw all those years ago," Ned said.
Jason seemed to be in agreement. "It took me a long time to realize Grandfather was a really good man," Jason said. He even planned to be there Christmas morning to open presents, an event three decades in the making.
After Jason and Ned left the kitchen, Brook Lynn and Chase walked in. Brook Lynn admitted that she was annoyed watching Lulu with Tracy. "It took everything in me not to gouge her eyes out," Brook Lynn said of Lulu. Chase wondered if his wife was jealous of the relationship between Tracy and Lulu. Brook Lynn insisted she was not jealous. She was just sick of Lulu always wanting to be the center of attention.
Chase then walked right into an argument when he mentioned he once had a crush on Lulu. Chase got out of his hole by telling his wife that she was the only one for him.
In the living room, Ned and Tracy toasted to Michael's coup over Drew. Lois noted that corporate takeovers were the true hallmark of a Quartermaine Christmas. "Drew losing Aurora was the best gift I could have gotten this year," Tracy exclaimed with joy. She was also soaking in the silence because there were no kids in the house.
Lois reminded Tracy that if all went well, Brook Lynn and Chase would have a baby next Christmas. Tracy lamented the excessive crying to come. When Ned remarked that the baby would be his first grandchild, Lois got an all-knowing look on her face. When Gio arrived, Brook Lynn handed him his violin so they could sing Christmas carols. Ned joined in on the guitar and Chase led on vocals.
At Carly's house, Sonny was hesitant to shake Brennan's hand but told him he knew exactly who he was. As Brennan made small talk with Josslyn and Kristina, Sonny quietly asked Carly if she was sure she knew what she was doing inviting Brennan for Christmas Eve dinner. "Do you really want a WSB agent roaming around your house?" Sonny logically asked.
Carly argued that Brennan had been a good friend to her, and she trusted him. Sonny still didn't think it was a good idea, but he assured Carly that if she was ever in trouble, thanks to her new friendship, he would be there for her.
Across the room, Kristina gave Michael her sympathies on the destruction of his marriage but admitted that she felt bad for Willow. "There's nothing worse than realizing you can't take something back, no matter how much you wish you could," Kristina lamented.
Later, Carly toasted Michael as the new owner of Aurora Media, while Sonny congratulated his son for outmaneuvering Drew. Kristina then asked Sonny to leave so they could attend the tree lighting at Rice Plaza.
On the couch, Josslyn was surprised when Brennan offered his condolences for Dex's death. Josslyn was curious how Brennan knew she and Dex were together. Brennan thought Carly must have told him at some point.
When Joss and Michael walked outside to help Avery and Donna build a snow family, they ran into Jason and Danny walking in. Jason was alarmed to see Carly sitting there laughing and drinking with Brennan. When Brennan extended his hand, Jason refused to shake it. Instead, he just silently stared Brennan down while Carly chattered on.
Brennan excused himself to go make a phone call so Jason could take Carly to task for inviting the WSB into her home. "Carly, he's using you. How many times do I have to tell you?" Jason said. Carly insisted Jason wasn't her boss.
Jason and Danny spent time on Carly's terrace. Jason could tell that Danny was missing his mother. "When we were building snowmen, it made me think of Mom," Danny said. Danny looked up and wondered where Sam was now. "She's with you. She's with me too. When we lose people, they're never really gone. They just become a part of us," Jason assured his son.
Ric arrived at Alexis' house in a state of confusion. He wanted to know why Alexis asked him there. She told him it was for their daughter, but if he didn't want to make Molly happy, he could leave. Alexis eventually convinced Ric to help her decorate.
Alexis begrudgingly asked Ric if he wanted some coffee. When he happily told her yes, she let him know it was in the kitchen. Despite looking like they wanted to claw each other's eyes out, Ric and Alexis decorated a lovely house. When Ric pulled out the mistletoe and held it above Alexis' head, she quickly knocked it right out of his hand.
As Molly approached the front door, she was stunned to be greeted by both of her smiling parents. Molly was puzzled but also amazed that Ric and Alexis decorated the house without killing one another.
