At the Quartermaine mansion, Lulu stared at Rocco in disbelief, and he did the same with her. As soon as Lulu said Rocco's name, he fell into her arms and gave her a heartwarming embrace. After they hugged, Lulu marveled at how tall Rocco had gotten. Lulu asked Rocco how long she had been gone and was stunned by his answer. "You've been in a coma for four years, Mom," Rocco said.
Lulu quickly did the math. "You're not my little boy anymore. You're 15. You're a teenager, and you're so handsome!" she said in amazement. Lulu apologized for being gone for so long as Rocco stood there in tears.
"I had trouble remembering your voice, but it's so good to hear it," Rocco said in a choked-up voice. He was amazed that she just walked into the Quartermaine house as if nothing had happened. Before Rocco could say more, Dante walked in and couldn't believe his eyes.
"Long time no see," Lulu said before reaching out for Dante. She suddenly lost her balance, so a floored and shocked Dante suggested she go to the hospital to be checked out. "No thanks. The last time I went to the hospital, I ended up staying four years," she said. Rocco and Dante brought Lulu to the couch to sit down. Dante sent Rocco to get Lulu something to eat so he could talk to her alone.

"I just can't believe I'm sitting here talking to you. You're back," Dante said. Lulu explained that she hitchhiked back to Port Charles as Dante just sat there blinking in disbelief. He asked Lulu to explain how she woke and why she ran from Turning Woods without telling anyone she was awake. "I heard Cyrus Renault and he said he was my uncle so I just knew I had to get away from Cyrus," Lulu said.
Dante figured now was as good a time as any to tell Lulu that Cyrus actually was her uncle. "He and your mom share the same father. He went to jail for a couple of years and now he has supposedly found God," Dante told a bewildered Lulu.
Lulu gave Dante the whole sordid tale of believing Cyrus was going to transfer to South Carolina so she had to escape. She told him that she went home and scared a little boy. Dante explained that Maxie lived there now and Lulu laughed realizing she had been talking to James.
Lulu said she made her way to the Quartermaines to see Tracy but she was shocked to find Rocco and asked what he was doing there. Dante told her that they were staying there but didn't get into detail as to why. Lulu had more important things to hear so she asked the million-dollar question: "How did I end up in a coma?"
Lulu said she could vaguely remember the night of the explosion at the Floating Rib, but there was "a haze around it." Lulu recalled Dustin asking her to marry him but then everything went dark. She finally remembered that an explosion killed Dustin. Lulu began crying at the idea of never getting a chance to say goodbye to Dustin.
Dante filled in the blanks and told Lulu that she had a head injury that the doctors had not noticed at first, which caused her coma. Rocco returned with a sandwich for Lulu made exactly the way she liked it. Lulu was not surprised to hear that Maxie had visited her often, which explained her perfectly manicured nails. "It just feels so good to be back with my boys," Lulu said, not knowing Danny was listening from just outside the room.
Lulu also asked why she had a bandage and scar on her stomach, so Rocco told Lulu she had a liver transplant. Rocco tried giving his mother the details, but Dante stopped her while Danny stood out of sight, devastated.
Laura was at home working with her assistant when Lucky walked in and asked for a few moments alone with his mother. When Lucky told her that Lulu was awake, Laura could barely contain her joy and excitement. Laura wanted to visit Turning Woods right away, but Lucky stopped her.
Laura was amazed when Lucky showed her the security footage of Lulu walking around Turning Woods as if she hadn't been in a coma for the last four years. Laura noticed how determined Lulu looked. "I don't understand. She woke up, and she just walked out of Turning Woods?" Laura wondered before putting out an APB on her daughter.
Lucky asked Laura if she had authorized Cyrus to speak to Turning Woods about Lulu's care. Laura thought that was a preposterous idea and worried that Lulu had run away from the facility because she feared Cyrus. Laura was impressed Lulu created a diversion with the fire alarm. "I am so proud of her for that very Spencer mood," she said.
Drew was angry to find Jason outside the Quartermaine boathouse. Jason told Drew that they needed to talk about something important. Jason explained that he didn't want to keep Danny, Scout, and Rocco apart, so he would move into the Q mansion to be with his son, and the kids could stay together.
Drew refused to even entertain the idea but Jason wouldn't give up. "I already spoke to Monica and she is all for it. And FYI, you had it coming," Jason said in regards to when he clocked his brother across the face.
"I guess Scout and I are heading to DC a little sooner than expected," Drew said. Just then, Carly appeared out of nowhere and was surprised to hear Drew's plans. Carly was as surprised as Drew when Jason told her he was moving in with his family to be with Danny. Drew told Jason to just leave Danny at the Q mansion without him. "The second you move in, Scout and I are gone," Drew insisted.
Carly tried reasoning with Drew and told him it made sense to keep the kids together. Drew agreed, but he wouldn't do it if Jason was around. "I can't have Scout around Jason's reckless behavior or the danger that comes with working with Sonny," Drew said. Carly reminded Drew that he promised Sam that he would do his best to get along with Jason.
"I don't know why you insist on hanging onto this feud, but what matters now are those three kids," Carly told the brothers. A reasonable Jason assured Carly he would live with Danny at the Quartermaines, but what happened to Scout would be up to Drew. A furious Carly continued to argue. "You guys are great men, and you love your kids so much, so do this for them. But more importantly, do it for Sam," she said.
Drew finally agreed to stay as long as Jason promised no more violence. "I will not be the one to break the peace," Jason said.
Ric and Alexis stayed behind at the courthouse, where Alexis chastised Ric for how he treated Kristina on the stand. Alexis accused Ric of trying to get revenge on Sonny by using Kristina. "You are literally morally bankrupt. How are you sleeping, Ric?" Alexis asked.
A frustrated Ric told her he was sleeping well because he knew he did his best to defend Ava. "The fact that it just pisses you and Sonny off is a bonus," Ric said. Alexis wondered how Ric could do such a thing to Molly's sister. That just angered Ric more as he asked Alexis how she couldn't see that she favored Kristina over Molly. "Even when the truth is presented to you right in front of your face, you can't realize it. That's pathetic," Ric said.
Alexis reminded Ric that she wouldn't take parenting advice from the man who locked Carly in a panic room when she was pregnant. "Molly thinks I am a great parent, Alexis. I am sure she wouldn't say the same about you," Ric pointed out.
Ric asked Alexis to use her objective lawyer brain because she would see that the prosecution had no case. "What happened to Kristina was a horrible, tragic accident. Nothing more," Ric added.
Sonny brought Kristina back to Alexis' house after the trial at Alexis' request. Kristina asked Sonny what he thought about their day in court. "Be straight with me. How bad was it?" she asked.
Sonny did his best to reassure Kristina that she did great on the stand, but Kristina didn't buy it. "I blew it. Even after all my preparation, I let Ric get to me," Kristina lamented. Sonny partly blamed himself for everything since Kristina was at Ava's hotel room due to the custody fight for Avery.
Kristina just wanted Ava to pay. "The desire for revenge and your thirst for justice is a hell of a motivator, but if that's what's going to keep your head above water, I'm not going to tell you to run away from it," Sonny said. Kristina worried that the jury wouldn't find Ava guilty. Sonny assured her if justice didn't take care of Ava, then he would.
Soon, Alexis walked in. She was surprised to see that Kristina seemed relaxed after her testimony. Alexis thought Kristina had come to terms with the trial going better for Ava than it did for her. "I really feel that no matter what the outcome is now, I'm going to be able to find peace," Kristina told a shocked Alexis.
Molly and TJ returned home and discussed the day's events. Molly surprised TJ with her assessment of the testimony. "After hearing Kristina's and Ava's versions of events, I am starting to come to terms with the fact that it was all just a horrible, tragic accident," Molly said.
TJ did not agree. Instead, he thought Kristina and Ava were both at fault for the entire tragic incident that killed his child. "It's true that Kristina was in the wrong place at the wrong time by choice, but she never attacked Ava, and I don't believe that Ava pushed her," Molly explained.
TJ was furious that Molly would come to such a conclusion. TJ accused Molly of wanting to believe Kristina's accident because it made it easier to move on. Molly protested and told TJ how much Irene's death pained her every day. TJ asked how he would know this since she never talked to him and actively avoided him. Molly pointed out they had been avoiding each other.
Molly admitted that it was emotionally easier to talk to other people about Irene's death than her partner. "So, you were talking to other people about it, but just not to me," TJ cried. Molly sat down with him and apologized. "Losing a child is the hardest thing two people can go through, and if we can't go through it together, what does that say about us?" TJ asked.
TJ sobbed as he begged Molly to experience their grief together, but Molly said she couldn't do it. "I can't. It just hurts me too much," she cried. Molly and TJ admitted the past few months had been the hardest of their lives, but they still loved one another. TJ insisted they could get through anything. He told her that he wanted to try for another baby, but Molly didn't think she could put herself through that again.
TJ said they didn't have to try immediately, but Molly thought it was too much to think about at that moment. Finally, Molly blurted out the truth: "I don't want another child. Not now. Not ever." As TJ cried, Molly told him that she loved him, but she couldn't go down the path of trying to be parents again.
"I don't know if I can see a future together where we don't have kids," TJ said. Molly replied sadly, "I don't know if I see one where we do." Neither one could imagine a future without the other. However, TJ packed a bag to give Molly some space.
