In Buenos Aires, Jason and Anna thought they found where Valentin was hiding with Charlotte. They staked out the grounds but saw no sign of Charlotte. Anna could swear she saw movement through the windows. She also felt this all seemed too easy. "Something's wrong," Anna told Jason.

Anna and Jason realized Valentin was expecting them. They then saw the WSB team and knew they had to go into the house immediately.

Charlotte sat inside reading a book. When Valentin spied her looking out the window, he scolded her, telling his daughter that she knew better than that. Charlotte admitted to Valentin that she wasn't comfortable there. Valentin said she'd be leaving soon, but alone. "It's time to say goodbye," he said.

Charlotte insisted she was not leaving Valentin, but he wanted her to. "This was my fault. I should have let you leave with your mother back in Prague," he sighed. "No, we're a team," Charlotte argued. Valentin agreed but claimed he was being selfish because it was dangerous for Charlotte to stay with him.

Valentin admitted that he texted Rocco pretending to be her so he expected someone from Port Charles to be there any minute. Charlotte couldn't believe her Papa did such a thing, but Valentin told her that she deserved to be with her mom. "No. I deserve to be with you," Charlotte said.

Just then, Anna and Jason burst in. "There's a kill squad. Go. Take Charlotte and go now," Anna said to Valentin. The next thing we knew, Anna and Jason were alone in the room when two men with guns arrived. Anna asked them to call Jack Brennan but was told he was not in charge of this op.

Jason didn't want to wait for Anna to talk so he punched one of the men in the face, leading Anna to drop-kick the other. When the men were unconscious, Valentin returned with Charlotte. "Hello, Anna," he said to the love of his life as Anna gave him a small smile.

Valentin admitted that he sent the text because he wanted Lulu to take Charlotte home. He wasn't expecting to see his beloved Anna. Charlotte and Valentin bid each other a tearful goodbye before Jason left with her.

Valentin, proving he is always good for a healthy cry, broke down with Anna. "I feel like that's the last time I am going to see my daughter," he said as the tears flowed. "It doesn't have to be. Why don't you come with us? Let me bring you in," Anna said.

Valentin knew it would never work. "I know too many things. I tried to kill Jack. If that bridge wasn't burned already, you and I both know the WSBs not going to let me live," Valentin said. Anna begged Valentin not to throw his life away before telling him that a part of her will always love him. And then like the night, Valentin was off.

Dante stopped by Maxie's place and got an update on James. His arm had a clean break and he would be fine. However, Dante was really there to talk about Lulu and Brook Lynn. Dante feared Lulu would get herself in a bad situation so Maxie opened her big mouth and nearly let it slip that Lulu had been up to something at the Metro Court.

Maxie tried to cover for herself, but Dante persisted. So, Maxie spilled that Lulu broke into Marty's hotel room, but at least she had the key. That made Dante more alarmed than he was when he first arrived. Dante tried to return to the matter at hand and asked Maxie to get Lulu to stop being so hard on Brook Lynn.

Dante claimed he tried talking to Lulu about this himself but she wouldn't listen. "The problem is we can't talk anymore...because of Sam," Dante sadly said. As the conversation continued, Dante lamented how exasperated he was from the war between Brook Lynn and Lulu. That's when Maxie blurted out that Lulu was still in love with him.

Dante looked at Maxie like she had three heads. "Maxie, Lulu and I are connected through Rocco but she's not in love with me," he said. After four long years, Maxie finally told the truth. "God forgive me 'cause I am going to break girl code here, but the night of the explosion Lulu actually broke things off with Dustin because she realized she was still in love with you. And I'm pretty sure she was about to tell you when she collapsed," Maxie confessed.

A stunned Dante realized Maxie was telling the truth and that Lulu had been trying for months not to tell him her feelings because she knew he was grieving Sam.

Tracy visited her family's final resting place in the Quartermaine crypt. She vowed not to let anyone move Edward, Lila, and Alan. She suddenly heard voices outside. Drew had Marty hang a sign proclaiming that the building was being seized.

Tracy walked outside and told the men that they were trespassing. She quickly tore the court order and called the police. "Go ahead. It's not going to do you any good. The law's on our side," Drew announced. He insisted that the crypt was on public land and as a congressman, he could have it seized.

"You're not going to get your way this time," Drew said, but Emma begged to differ. Emma and Gio popped up behind Drew, with Emma telling him, "Leave the old lady alone."

Emma was appalled when she heard that human beings were interned in the building. Drew tried to explain that Edward Quartermaine built his crypt on protected land, but Emma was not swayed. "Edward Quartermaine saved my life and you rescued me from kidnappers," she told Tracy. Emma also wasn't impressed when Drew introduced himself as a congressman.

Ned demanded that Lois tell him why it was okay for Gio to accept Sonny's money, but his funds had to always be scrutinized elsewhere. "Why is it okay for Gio to become one of Sonny's charity cases?" Ned asked. "Gio's not a charity case. He's family," Lois replied.

Lois explained that Sonny could help cultivate Gio's talent with his money. Ned understood that cash was needed, but was still confused. "Why would you go to Sonny and not to me? Did you think that I wouldn't help?" he wondered. Lois covered for herself and told Ned that Sonny wanted to do this for Gio and she couldn't say no.

Just then, a breathless Gio came storming in and told Ned and Lois that there was a showdown at the Q crypt. Lois, Ned, Gio, and Chase all ran down there and argued with Drew, a man who was fine with his grandparents and father's remains being disturbed to prove a petty point.

"Oh, so you're abusing your power," Emma stated before taking out her phone and placing it in front of Drew's face on record. "Congressman, shouldn't you be helping your constituents instead of traumatizing them for digging up their beloved parents?" Emma asked. Drew quickly put on his congressman persona, calling Emma civic-minded, but also telling her she was taking the wrong side.

Tracy pointed out that Drew's surveyor had only done a preliminary report. She wanted confirmation that the building touched public land. Ned decided the city needed to be brought into the matter so he called Jordan, interrupting her alone time with Isaiah.

Jordan got down to the crypt right away to try to keep the peace — as a favor to Ned, of course. Jordan reminded Drew that he was using public funds to fight a personal family battle. Just as the situation seemed to be settled, Tracy touched the surveyor and his equipment, leading Chase to arrest her again.

Back at the house, Brook Lynn and Lulu battled over Brook Lynn's baby. Brook Lynn wanted to know why Lulu was only thinking of herself and not the damage blowing Brook Lynn's secret would do. "How does Dante knowing make things better for anyone?" Brook Lynn asked. Lulu claimed that Dante's life would be better and that was all that mattered.

Brook Lynn pointed out that her son was now an adult and may not even know he was adopted. Lulu pointed out the opposite. Maybe he did know and has been looking for his birth parents. Brook Lynn said if her son ever showed up wanting to know her it would be the happiest day of my life. "But it's the child's choice. Not mind, not Dante's, and certainly not yours," she said.

Brook Lynn refused to do as Lulu said, claiming her child's happiness was much more important to her than Dante's. "You know Dante will turn this world upside down to find our son, just like you're doing for Charlotte. And where will that leave Rocco?" Brook Lynn asked in tears.

Brook Lynn informed Lulu that she lived with Rocco when Lulu did not. "When you went off to Prague, he was afraid and hurt. He finally had his mom back and the first chance she got, she up and left him again." Brook Lynn said. Lulu was angered that Brook Lynn would use Rocco to get Lulu to keep quiet. "Your son is lucky you gave him up. If you can use someone else's child against them, then it's a good thing you're nobody's mother," Lulu spitefully said.

"I am a mother," Brook Lynn cried. "I went through 12 hours of labor and then gave my baby to some stranger from an adoption agency. I couldn't even let myself hold him. Didn't even know if it was a boy or a girl until you told me." It took some time, but Brook Lynn finally got Lulu to agree to keep things quiet for now. As soon as Lulu left, an angry Brook Lynn texted her mother and told her that they needed to talk. When Lois returned to the house, Brook Lynn had questions.
