At the hospital, Jordan asked for an update on Lulu, and Elizabeth said that she was improving. Jordan noted that Laura’s joy was tempered by her devastation over Sam dying to save her daughter. Liz said they were all grateful that Dr. Gannon agreed to do the surgery. She noted that Isaiah hadn’t been in the OR for a long time, but he proved himself to be a talented surgeon. Jordan agreed that it seemed so.

Lucky went to see Sonny at the gym and told him he needed his advice. Sonny said he needed to hit something and release some anger. Lucky went to get some gloves so he could spar with Sonny in the ring.

While they sparred, Lucky told Sonny that he didn’t know what he was doing in Port Charles, noting that it wasn’t his home and that he already felt like moving on again. Lucky explained that he felt like he had a purpose when he was out in the world and didn’t feel like he could make a difference in PC. Sonny asked Lucky if he was unsure about leaving his family behind again.

Sonny wondered if anyone would be waiting for Lucky if he went to Africa. Lucky explained he just gets off the plane and jumps in where needed. Sonny wondered what the rush was then. They talked about Laura and Lulu and how people in town wanted him to stick around, like Aiden. “He’s used to me not being around,” Lucky said. “That’s not a great thing, is it?” Sonny asked.

Lucky wondered what he’d even do for work in Port Charles. He didn’t want to dig ditches or be a cop again. Lucky said he was looking for a way to fit in, but why should he stay if what he was looking for wasn’t there?

Sonny offered to help Lucky get a job. Lucky said it would have to be legit. Sonny said he would be doing him a favor, but if he didn’t want to be there, he shouldn’t stay just because other people wanted him to. Lucky thought it made him sound selfish. “Maybe…but maybe it’s time to move on,” Sonny suggested.

Lucky said it felt wrong no matter what he thought he should do. Sonny advised Lucky to be his own man, like his father. He said whatever Lucky did, he would support him. “You need to be honest about why you’re going. You need to be honest with your son, and you need to be honest with your mother. But especially with yourself,” Sonny said. Lucky said he needed to see someone. Sonny told him that he hoped he was going to stick around. After Lucky left, Sonny made a call and asked someone to set something up for “an old friend.”

In her office, Isaiah approached Dr. Randolph and asked why she summoned him. He wondered if there was a problem with Lulu’s recovery. Instead, she offered him a job. Isaiah was blown away but said he wouldn’t shy about reviewing the contract. “We’re willing to do whatever it takes to keep you at GH,” Terry said.

After Isaiah left, Liz came in for an update. She promised to keep it a secret and was delighted to find out about Dr. Gannon’s job offer. Terry noted that Lucky would be happy if his best friend took the job and stayed in Port Charles. “Dr. Gannon might end up sticking around, but Lucky’s already looking for his next adventure,” Liz said.

Elizabeth didn’t understand why Lucky felt like he wasn’t of any use to anyone. She pointed out how he was there for his mom and Isaiah and how he had stepped up with Aiden. “When things get real, Lucky takes off. I shouldn’t have been surprised,” Liz said. She admitted she was angry at herself for believing this time might’ve been different and Lucky might have stayed.

Elizabeth noted that she wished he would stay and that she envisioned her son having a dad and her having a co-parent. Terry wondered if she also hoped to have Lucky as a partner. Liz admitted she had crazy, mixed-up feelings about them being a family. Elizabeth told Terry that it wasn’t fair to her and Aiden that if he wasn’t going to stay and make a life there, then he needed to go.

In the hospital hallway, Jordan ran into Isaiah. He told her that Dr. Randolph offered him a job at GH but said he probably wouldn’t take it. Isaiah said that about 500 people in the country could have done Lulu’s surgery, but he was one of the few who were making a difference in Africa. “You want to be wherever you can do the most good and save the most lives,” Jordan said. She pointed out that he thought he was the best in the country so that place would be the OR.

Isaiah asked Lucky to meet him at the hospital. He told him that he was going to ask him to return to Africa but had just been offered a job as a surgeon at the hospital. Lucky thought it was a great opportunity. Isaiah asked if Lucky was going to stick around, but he wasn’t sure yet.

In her office, Anna asked Felicia if Robert told her about his leave of absence. Felicia thought he was on a well-deserved holiday. Anna told him that Holly was in a world of trouble, and they left town at the same time. “So what are the chances you think that he’ll have a relaxing holiday?” Anna asked.

Felicia asked if Sasha was really Anna’s concern or if she had feelings for Robert. Anna said she was worried because she knew Robert would rush to save Holly and run into her arms, and then once again, Holly would find another reason to avoid making a real commitment.

Felicia pointed it out that Robert didn’t just leave to save Holly, he left to save Sasha’s mother and that may change things. Anna wasn’t sure they were gone forever as they would want to build a relationship with their daughter. Felicia said that she and Anna knew that, but Sasha didn’t.

As they left the office, Felicia noted all of the Scorpio family members that Sasha had now. Anna thought Sasha wouldn’t know what it was like to have a big family, but Felicia was confident that it was time for that to change.

Carly went to Jason’s and reported that Kristina had told her she saw him walking through the diner, and it looked like he had been in an accident. Jason insisted he was fine but reluctantly admitted that he was in a fight with Drew. He wouldn’t tell Carly why but said that Drew got everything he deserved.

Jason told Carly that he was waiting for Drew when he got home and hit him. “You got into a fight with Drew at the Quartermaine’s with Danny and Scout right upstairs?” Carly asked. She told Jason that he would have messed up the kids if they had seen that. Jason said it needed to happen, even if it was the night before Sam’s funeral.

Carly worried that Drew would involve the police, but Jason was sure that wouldn’t happen. Carly ranted that Jason could be arrested and jeopardized for everything he’s ever done. “It’s a risk I had to take,” Jason said. “And you won’t tell me why?” Carly asked. Jason said he wouldn’t, so Carlly left to fix his mess.

Drew had Ric come over and saw Drew’s damaged face. Drew told him that he and Jason had a disagreement. Ric laughed and said, “Please tell me we’re pressing charges.” Ric said his mutual antipathy with Jason made Ric the perfect reason to represent him. “Does that mean that attorney-client privilege is in effect?” Drew asked. “Absolutely,” Ric said with a grin.

Drew told Ric there was something he needed to know. “The reason Jason attacked me is because I’ve had some involvement with Michael’s wife, Willow,” Drew explained. He added that all Jason knew was that he and Willow had kissed, and he told Michael himself when Ned was trying to blackmail Drew. “Okay, so we got blackmail, we got assault,” Ric listed. Drew said all he wanted was for it to end. He asked Ric to make a deal with Jason and put the incident behind them as long as Jason stayed quiet about what he knew.

Ric understood that Drew wanted to avoid a scandal. Drew said he could weather a scandal, but Willow shouldn’t have to. Ric thought Jason should be behind bars, but Drew pointed out he needed to be at the funeral for his son. Ric wondered what would happen when Chase found out, as he would want to play by the book. Drew said he’d talk to Chase and tell him it was just a personal misunderstanding that got out of hand, and the police didn’t need to be involved.

Drew asked Ric again to make a deal with Jason. Ric said he couldn’t do that because Drew wasn’t being straight with him. “Half-truths may work with Michael, although from the looks of your face, maybe not. But I need all of the facts,” Ric said, adding that he wouldn’t be able to represent him without the whole truth. Drew admitted that he and Willow slept together.

Ric started snapping pictures of Drew’s face for evidence. He said that Drew may not always be a politician, but Jason would always be his relentless brother. Ric thought Jason was biding his time to attack Drew again and said the attempt to muzzle Jason would only piss him off more. “So if you won’t reconsider and put Jason in prison where he belongs, then at least you’ll be ready for what comes next,” Ric added.

Drew opened the door, and Carly feigned surprise at his injured face. He said they both knew she was there to protect Jason. Carly pointed out that he and Jason were brothers. Drew told her he wasn’t pressing charges. Carly said that for Danny's sake, Jason needed to be at the funeral. Drew and Carly began to argue about how she would always take Jason’s side over anyone’s. “Now he attacked me, unprovoked, with our children upstairs, and you’re still defending him. You always will,” Drew told her.

Carly told Drew that Jason said it wasn’t unprovoked and that Drew deserved it. She noted that Jason doesn’t act like that without good reason, and therefore, Drew must have given him a really good one.

Jason opened his door to Ric and asked what he wanted. Ric walked in and said he was there to offer a deal. “I’m going to draw up an NDA. You’re never to speak of why you attacked Drew Quartermaine, and in exchange, he won’t press charges,” Ric said. “If Drew wanted to press charges, he would already be in jail, but Ric pointed out that the statute of limitations was five years. “I’ll wait,” Jason said.

Ric told Jason to take the deal but he declined. Ric noted that Drew was very concerned about Danny’s well-being. Jason warned him not to talk about his son. Ric told Jason that he wouldn’t hesitate to put him away if it were up to him.

Jason told Ric to threaten him with all he wanted, but he wouldn’t sign anything. “Tell your client I’m not going to say anything about what happened tonight or anything else. If anyone else finds out, it won’t be from me,” Jason told Ric. Ric said he didn’t trust him but would deliver the message. “Nice doing business with you,” Ric said. He smirked at Jason and then challenged that he wanted to hit him. “Take your shot. I dare you,” Ric taunted. Jason touched Ric with his pinky finger, and Ric flinched. “Nice doing business with you,” Jason retorted. Ric headed out the door but paused. “My apologies for Sam,” he said before walking away.
