Brook Lynn explained to Chase how she was pregnant in high school, gave the baby up for adoption, and only ever told her mom. She apologized for never telling him and explained that it was a scary time, but her mom was in her corner and helped her through it. Brook Lynn admitted she’d come to the conclusion quickly about the adoption but knew she didn’t need the judgments from her family. She went on tour with her mom for five months and never saw the baby when it was born. She didn’t even know if it was a boy or a girl.

Chase was empathetic as Brook Lynn talked about her feelings and what it was like to have a baby and then have to give it away in hopes that it had a better life. She apologized for lying, but he disagreed that it was a lie. He said it was part of her past, and it was her choice who she shared it with. Brook Lynn never wanted to keep anything from him again. Chase said he only wanted to know one thing: “Are you okay?” he asked. Brook Lynn was amazed. Chase reminded Brook Lynn she could tell him anything and thanked her for sharing such an intimate part of herself.

Chase asked if she wanted to find him or her, but she thought it might be unfair. “Having you in their life would only make it better,” Chase told her. He said he’d support her if she chose to, but it was up to her.

In the kitchen, Sasha told Tracy about the P.I. and how she met her. Tracy asked Sasha told her before she knew who Elaine was. Sasha admitted she told her the due date of her baby. Tracy thanked her for the intel. “You’re holding something back, I can tell,” Sasha accused. Tracy asked if she and Jason planned to get married. Sasha rephrased it to wondering if she was going to make the baby an official Quartermaine.

Tracy noted that Sasha didn’t get knocked up from a one-night stand with some guy from a bar, she had sex with a Quartermaine, and not just any one of them, the favorite. Sasha reminded her that she promised to respect her right to make her own decisions. Tracy rescinded that now that she knew the baby was a Quartermaine. Tracy poked at Sasha until she confirmed that Jason was the father.

Sasha left, but Jason came in. Tracy told him she was glad he was prioritizing Danny and reminded him that he was family. Jason warned her that Drew was coming for him. Jason said Drew felt the whole family turned on him, which makes Drew the enemy,” Tracy said. She told Jason they were glad he was there.

Drew told Jason he had a lot of nerve walking into his house and demanding peace. Drew said Jason didn’t care about Sam when he ambushed him the night before the funeral and wondered what changed. Jason said that Danny and Scout needed to be together, which meant they needed to get along for their sake. Drew argued every point that Jason had.

Drew said that ever since he found out they were twins, his entire life has hinged on one moment. “What if Susan Moore brought me back to Port Charles instead of you?” Drew asked. He could have lived a life of luxury instead of being alone in a group home. He felt he had made a place for himself in the family and now Jason wanted back in after never appreciating what he had. “It breaks my heart what Scout is going through, but I am her father, and I will do what’s right for her, always,” Drew growled.

Drew pointed out that no matter what he did to fit in, he did one thing for himself and fell in love with the wrong woman and the family couldn’t turn their backs on him quickly enough. But Jason could be a hitman and always have a place with them. He told Jason to get out of his house.

At the hospital, Isaiah explained to Laura, Lulu, Aiden, and Elizabeth that it was too soon to give a prognosis. Aiden worried it meant his dad might not make it. Isaiah said it was too soon to tell but reminded him Lucky was his best friend and understood his concern. Isaiah took Aiden and Elizabeth to see Lucky in the ICU.

Inside Lucky’s hospital room, Portia encouraged him to hold on. Liz and Aiden came in and talked to Lucky, telling him that Elizabeth was safe and they needed him to wake up. Lucky’s monitor started beeping loudly. The crash team came in and hooked up the paddles to try to save Lucky as Elizabeth ushered Aiden from the room.

Once alone, Laura told Lulu that Lucky would survive Cyrus, just like she did. Laura told Lulu how Cyrus caused her liver failure. Laura felt guilty for her brother’s actions but Lulu only blamed Cyrus for being who he was. Lulu recalled that Dr. Gannon told her that the liver transplant was probably why she woke up. She noted that if Cyrus hadn’t tried to kill her, she might still be in a coma, and Sam would be alive. Laura said Cyrus never should have been let out of prison. Elizabeth and Aiden came up and told them about Lucky, and Aiden cried that his dad might be dying.

Portia came out a little longer and announced that they had stabilized Lucky. They all embraced and hugged at the good news. They all thanked Portia; she credited Dr. Gannon for not giving up.

Near the nurses’ station, Dante asked Anna why Cyrus would go after Elizabeth, so she explained how she and Lucky had figured out Cyrus was killing people with Digitalis. Dante was upset but determined to find Cyrus after hearing he’d confessed to Dex and Sam’s murder. She explained he thought he was on a mercenary mission with some, but Dex and Sam got in his way.

Jordan arrived and told Anna that she found out that Cyrus had a connection that went back decades to a Gatlin family in Pautuck. Anna noted that a man named Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt was shot dead in Pautuck in 2023. Dante noted that the shooting was never solved. Anna called someone to get a list of all properties owned by the doctor. Dante promised Anna that he wanted Cyrus arrested, not killed. She agreed to let him be part of the case and arrest just before she got the call with an address to the cabin.

At the cabin, Jack walked in and told Josslyn to hand him the weapon. She gave him the gun as she explained Cyrus was going to kill her, so she had no choice but to kill him first. Jack said he knew that as he was outside when it happened. He offered to call the police, or they could take care of it themselves.

Josslyn cried that it would make her look more guilty that she shot Cyrus with Dex’s gun. Jack pointed out how lawyers could say he didn’t see what he saw. He offered again to take care of it. “But once the WSB is involved, no one can know what happened here tonight, not even your mother,” Brennan explained. He said if Joss couldn’t do that, they’d have to call the police. Josslyn said she could do it, so Jack grabbed her and said they were leaving immediately. He told her if anyone asked, she was never at the cabin. They walked out, leaving Cyrus dead on the floor.

Brennan brought Josslyn back to the WSB HQ and told her to shower, change into the clothes waiting for her in the bathroom, and leave everything else behind. He took the gun and wiped it clean. Colette came in, and Jack told her Cyrus was dead. Colette advised him that it wouldn’t be too easy to clean it up as Cyrus tried to kill Elizabeth and Lucky earlier and there was an APB out for him. She said it was only a matter of time before Anna found the cabin. Colette pointed out all the reasons they couldn’t hide the shooting. Jack instructed Colette to have it all cleaned up “with one exception.”

In the WSB bathroom, Josslyn recalled killing Cyrus and threw up. She showered but continued to have flashbacks and was freaking out. After she got dressed, she came back to Brennan’s office. He had just put Dex’s wiped gun into his bureau and sat down. He confirmed no one knew where Josslyn was going that evening or that she had been to the cabin, then told her she set all of it in motion when she asked for the satellite coverage from West Plaza. Joss said that got her nowhere, as the footage was gone. “No, it wasn’t. Your instincts were spot on,” Jack said as she showed her a photo of Cyrus with a knife. “I don’t understand. You knew Cyrus killed Dex this whole time?” she asked. She wondered why he hadn’t gone to the police, but he told her he wanted to see what she would do with the information.

Jack said it had nothing to do with Carly but thought Josslyn could be a great WSB agent. Jack pointed out that Joss had brought a gun to shield herself, and she had taken action instead of hiding. Josslyn told him how she found the bracelets, and then Cyrus was going to attack her with an axe, so she shot him. Jack asked if she would have pulled the trigger if Cyrus hadn’t come at her. Josslyn cried that she didn’t know. “Well, it’s good that we didn’t call the police then,” Jack said.

Jack assured Joss that even if she didn’t join the WSB, they would cover up what happened to Cyrus. “But you’d make one hell of an agent,” he added. He gave her money and told her to buy a new phone. He told her to tell people she knew that she had lost hers. He added that he had her car driven over from the cabin and ensured she was able to drive it home. Josslyn left, and Colette came in. “She gets to walk out of there just like that?” she asked. “Yes, and when she comes back, it’s better if she thinks it’s her idea,” Jack told her.

Outside the cabin, Dante, Anna, and other police showed up with guns drawn. Dante kicked in the door, and they surged through it. Anna noted that the cabin was completely dust-free and had no sign of anyone or anything. She called for Forensics to come in and look for something. “If Cyrus was here, he’d have left something behind,” she noted.
