At the Port Charles Grille, Ava and Ric’s credit cards were declined. They were embarrassed as they waited for Lucas to come pay the bill so the police wouldn’t be called. Lucas handed over his credit card. “Please tell me this isn’t why you had me rush all the way over here,” Lucas said to Ava.

Lucas explained to Ava what an actual emergency was. She told him that she was just acquitted of killing a baby and couldn’t have any more run-ins with the law. Lucas agreed that made sense. Ava invited Lucas to join them and finish eating what he’d paid for. Lucas asked for a menu and another bottle of champagne.

Ava and Ric shared that their accounts had been frozen, although Ric chalked his issues up to Ava’s check bouncing. Lucas correctly assumed that he wasn’t Ava’s first call but was the only one willing to help. Ava got a notification on her phone and handed it to Ric to make sure it said what she thought. As Ric looked, Ava told Lucas that the Cassadines had taken back her entire divorce settlement from Nikolas.

At Wyndermere, Dante and two cops burst in with guns drawn only to find Lulu. Dante sent the other two policemen back to the station. Lulu explained to Dante that Valentin and Charlotte had lived there and was looking for clues to find her daughter.

Dante said other people had lived there since Valentin and her daughter. Lulu admitted she’d already searched the tunnels and found nothing. Dante told Lulu he understood loving someone so much you’d do anything for them, even returning to a place that gave you nightmares. “I’m so sorry, Dante. You must hate me so much,” Lulu said.

Lulu shared that Lucky told her Sam was her donor. Lulu acknowledged how overwhelming it must have been for her to wake up when she did. She said she understood why he didn’t tell her about Sam and was glad he had waited. Lulu noted how much Sam must have loved him and it was obvious how much he loved her, too. “I just can’t believe she’s gone. But I want you to know how happy I am that you’re awake. It’s just really hard to balance that with losing Sam,” Dante explained. Lulu told him that she knew he and Rocco were grieving, and she understood what her waking up cost Sam — and Dante.

Dante apologized for not telling Lulu about Sam sooner. He said he messed up when she went into the coma by not keeping Rocco and Charlotte together and letting Valentin take her. Lulu said it would have been next to impossible for Dante to have gotten custody of Charlotte. Lulu knew that Valentin manipulated everything to keep Charlotte to himself. Lulu felt like a piece of her was missing. Dante offered to help Lulu tear Wyndermere apart.

They found a locked box and tried to open it. Lulu picked the lock and opened it up. Inside was a dress that belonged to Charlotte. Lulu smelled it. She pulled out a toy horse and recognized it as one she gave her. Dante thought the fact that Charlotte kept it had meaning.

Lulu and Dante had to wait for the boat to be able to leave. She suggested they wait outside and get some fresh air. Lulu picked up the box to take it with her. She told Dante not to get involved. “In the trespassing, destruction of personal property, or the theft of stolen goods?” he asked. “All of it,” Lulu quipped.

At Q mansion, the Christmas party got turned up when Tracy’s accidental airing of Drew and Willow’s dirty laundry played out on the TV. Everyone gasped as they realized they were watching Drew and Willow having sex in the playroom. Everyone, but Ned and Tracy, that is, who both howled with laughter. Drew yelled for it to be turned off but Tracy said to let it play. Willow and Nina looked horrified at the screen.

Michael shut off the TV as Ned bellowed at Drew, “We all thought you had sunk as low as possible when you kissed Willow. Little did we know you were having sex with her! Your nephew’s wife? In your daughter’s nursery?!” Ned said Drew’s father would be so proud. Drew told him to back off and said it was none of his business. “You made it my business when you did THAT in this house!” Ned snapped as he pointed at the TV.

Tracy took delight in telling Nina that her daughter was sleeping with the man Nina had gotten so close to. “That must really sting,” Tracy hissed, grinning. Gio, Josslyn, and Trina couldn’t believe what they saw. “Wait until Uncle Sonny hears about this. Drew is a dead man,” Gio noted. They convinced Josslyn to leave the room with them so the people involved could sort the mess out.

In the foyer, Josslyn thought that Michael would just forgive Willow. She didn’t want to see Drew’s “stupid, smug face” anymore and needed to get out of there. “I’m going to see Dex in the hospital,” she said as she left. Trina asked Geo if he still had that stadium all-access pass, and he said he did.

In the living room, Tracy called Drew despicable. With a heavy sigh, he told her to get off of her moral high horse. “Everyone knows that your precious Ned slept with his aunt while she was still married,” Drew said. “I had no idea Monica was my aunt when I slept with her!” Ned countered. Drew flung facts and memories at Ned. “Did you know you were already married to Lois when you and Katherine Bell tied the knot?” Drew yelled. Ned told him that was a long time ago, and Lois forgave him. Brook Lynn told Drew to keep her mother’s name out of his mouth. She offered to get her on the phone if Drew was interested in how Lois felt.

Ned called Drew the Golden Boy and said, “Oh, how the mighty have fallen — right on top of your nephew’s wife!” Drew warned Ned that if he had to tell him to back off one more time, it was going to get ugly. “I think we passed ugly right about the time we saw Willow actually on top of you,” Tracy chimed in.

Crying, Willow walked over to Michael. “Everyone else was shocked by what they saw, but not you. You’re the one who took that video,” she said. Michael told her he accidentally recorded it with a nanny cam. He got an activity notification on his phone and that was what he saw. Willow said she was with Drew one time, which meant that he had the video for weeks. She asked why he waited until that moment to play it in front of everyone.

Carly interrupted Willow to blast her. “You’re cheating on Michael, and you’re trying to make it sound like it’s his fault?” Carly asked. Michael asked her to let him handle it but she didn’t want Willow to gaslight him. Willow explained she knew what she did was wrong and regretted it but wanted to know why Michael pretended he didn’t know for weeks.

Michael admitted he wanted to have one more Christmas together as a family. Willow said she wanted the same thing and was going to tell him the truth after the holidays. Carly ripped into Willow about all the things Michael had done for her and said she threw it all away. Willow ran out of the room, upset.

Carly turned and pointed at Drew. “And you, you son of a bitch, I knew that Jason had a reason for going after you! He knew you slept with Willow, didn’t he?” she asked. She noted that he finally found someone that would put him first. “I hope it was worth it,” Carly told him. Drew said he wasn’t going to talk about it with her.

“But you were willing to sleep with Willow in this house where anybody could have walked in on you. You involved us in your tawdriness, so no, you don’t get to keep anything private,” Tracy told Drew, and Ned agreed. Tracy told Drew that even Alan never stooped as low as Drew did, sleeping with his nephew’s wife.

Drew tried to explain that he was grieving about Sam, and Willow had reached out to him. He desperately asked them to stay out of it, but they told him he should move to D.C. immediately because Monica was going to kick him out when she found out. “And we’re going to leak the video and show the world what a low-life you are,” she added.

Drew told Tracy and Ned that they could do whatever they wanted to him, but asked them not to hurt Willow. “Oh, so now you’re worried about how your actions affect Willow?” Michael asked him.

Drew explained the kids did not need to know about it and they didn’t deserve to go through that type of scandal. Olivia agreed and reminded them how devastating it would be for the children. Drew told Michael whatever happened now was out of his hands. “It’s up to you,” Drew said.

Michael agreed to protect the kids and Willow, he wouldn’t leak the video. He noted that it would also benefit Drew, and accused him of hiding behind the children and Willow to protect himself. Drew yelled that Michael knew nothing about him and Willow. “Yeah? Then why don’t you tell me?!” Michael snapped.

In the hall, Ned said that Drew was taking advantage of the Quartermaine name. Olivia said if Michael wanted to work things out with Willow, they had to support him. Tracy agreed she would do what Michael wanted, though she thought once a cheater, always a cheater.

In the kitchen, Brook Lynn, Chase, and Sasha went into the kitchen. Brook Lynn said Drew was really living up to the Quartermaine name of sleeping with people they weren’t married to. Chase wondered if he and Sasha shouldn’t have played God with Michael and Willow’s lives all those years ago. “Maybe Michael and Willow were never meant to be together,” he added.

Sasha didn’t see things the same way. She wondered why Willow would be interested in Drew and why he would act on it. They agreed there was blame to go around, but Sasha didn’t think she or Chase were at fault for something they had done years ago. Chase admitted that he never thought that he’d fall in love again after Willow but now he knew that Brook Lynn was perfect for him.

At the stadium, Kai was talking to a reporter about their win. He spotted Trina after the interview and she explained that Gio had played the national anthem and had a pass so she came to congratulate him on the game. She told him that she was with people who were losing it in the living room watching the game, and she couldn’t imagine what it was like in the stadium. Trina told Kai he was amazing out on the field.

Trina and Kai talked about how she called him out, and he was grateful for it as it brought his attention to things he didn’t know. Trina told Kai she wanted to know more about football. They sat down, and he explained a few terms of the game. Trina told him she wanted to do the presentation together. She asked if the extension was still a possibility.

Nina and Willow came in to the gate house as Nina told her to bring the kids to her place. Willow didn’t want to take the kids without telling Michael first. Nina advised her to play things smart, saying that Michael was one of the richest men in the state and had connections on both sides of the law. “He is a Quartermaine. He is a Spencer. He is a Corinthos. All those people are going to side with him,” Nina told her. She said it was a war, and if she wanted any chance of seeing her children again, she had to go get her kids immediately.

Nina and Willow woke up the kids and packed the car. They were about to rush out the door when Carly came in. “Where are you off to in such a hurry? You two wouldn’t be trying to take Michael’s children away from him, are you?” Carly asked.

Josslyn arrived at the hospital and saw Liz and Dr. Gannon trying to save Dex. Horrified, she saw them using the paddles to try to revive him. A tearful Anna came up behind her and told Joss to come with her.

In the hall, Josslyn said she had just been on the phone with Dex and they were talking and laughing. She suggested he was in shock or having a reaction to his meds. She noted they were using a defibrillator and said that had to do with his heart. Anna thought the best thing to do was wait for the doctor for information.

Anna tried calling Carly but put the phone down as she realized Josslyn was trying to talk herself down. Anna stroked her head and nodded in agreeance that Dex was going to be fine. Dr. Gannon came into the hallway. “I’m sorry. We did everything we could. Dex didn’t make it,” he told them.

Inside Dex’s room, Elizabeth unhooked Dex from the machine. She told herself that it didn’t make sense that another person would die the same way. “Something very wrong is going on here,” she said.

On the next General Hospital

Lulu asked Dante, “What if I never see my daughter again?”

Portia says, “You’ll need to take a step back from patient care.”

“You are not one of us!” Tracy sneers.

Drew tells Michael, “Would she ever cheat on you if it wasn’t real?”

Willow says intently, “What happens next isn’t up to you, Carly.”

Josslyn tells Jason, “I will never be able to let it go!”
