In her office, Alexis told Ava to get out, but Ava refused, saying she thought Alexis could make time to discuss Kristina's future. Alexis wasn't amused and told Ava not to say Kristina's name, "after the hell you put her through."

"My daughter's future is none of your business," Alexis added. "True, but I can make it the business of the police," Ava said, piquing Alexis' interest. She asked Ava what she was alleging. "I'm not alleging anything. Kristina tried to kill me and I can prove it," Ava said. Sonny told Dante about his attack in front of Ava and how she wouldn't give him his pills.

After the Corinthos lunch was over, Sonny approached Natalia at the bar. "What were you doing with Jenz Sidwell?" he asked.

Alexis closed the door and demanded to hear more, so Ava explained how Kristina had barged into her apartment to start another fight. She also mentioned how she and Ric drove similar cars and Ric had been parked in her spot that night. Alexis still didn't know what this had to do with Kristina, so Ava broke out her phone with the security footage of Kristina grabbing wire cutters and walking over to Ric's car.

Alexis immediately knew what Ava wanted and said, "How much?" Ava wanted millions from the Cassadine estate, but Alexis said she couldn't embezzle that money. Alexis also pointed out that the video didn't show Kristina doing the actual cutting. Ava didn't care because she knew she could point the police in the right direction.

"How do you think Molly will react when she learns Kristina nearly killed her father?" Ava asked. Alexis kept her cool and tried to call Ava's bluff, telling her to go to the police if she wanted. "But if I were you, I'd be careful because you might end up in the hot seat," she warned.

Ava was not deterred. "I will give you till 9 AM tomorrow to decide if you're willing to protect your daughter's future," she said before leaving.

At the Metro Court, Marco and Sidwell nodded to each other from across the dining room but kept their distance.

Laura and Curtis also sat down for a meal, but Curtis immediately had bad news. Before he could tell Laura what it was, Sidwell interrupted them. They both told him they were having a private conversation, so he walked away, pleased that he had caused them a moment of stress.

Curtis finally broke the bad news. "It's Ezra Boyle. Laura, he has it out for you, and I don't know how much longer I can protect you," he said. Curtis informed Laura that Boyle wanted to publish an editorial about Laura's friendship with Sonny. The fact that Laura refused to move the esplanade plan was fueling the editorial.

Curtis promised to make sure Laura also had a voice in his paper but warned her that her friendship with Sonny could be hard to justify. Curtis suggested that Laura put the esplanade location up for a vote so the people could decide.

On this way out of the restaurant, Sidwell ran into Natalia and told her that Marco had been waiting for her. "If possible, try and show a little tact," Sidwell advised. When Natalia sat down, Marco was pleased to tell her he expected an offer from Miller & Davis. "What a tragic waste of your talent," was all Natalia could manage. "You could be on tour right now with your sister. You could be selling out concert venues," she added.

Marco was frustrated and didn't want to talk about this subject again. "I've been a lawyer for 10 years. Any other mother would be proud," he said. Natalia accused Marco of trashing his music career just to spite her. Apparently, Marco was pretty angry at his mother for a very good reason. "I told you I was gay, and you tried to shove me back into the closet," he spat.

Natalia admitted that she wished she had handled things differently, but Marco didn't care. He hated that his mother couldn't accept him for who he was. Natalia argued that she was just upset that he was wasting his musical potential. "You never change. You couldn't accept Allie either," Marco accused. He knew that his sister wasn't answering Natalia's calls.

Natalia blamed the rift on Sidwell, telling Marco he could have been a star. "Instead, you let your father manipulate you into going to law school so he could mold you into one of his flunkies," she said. "I also blame myself because I didn't fight hard enough for you," she added.

"It's not that complicated, Mami. You wanted me to be a musician. I wanted to be something else. You wanted me to be straight and I wanted to be true to myself," Marco said. Natalia argued that she just wanted Marco to be happy. Marco accused her of trashing her relationship with Blaze because of her bigoted opinions, but Natalia said she had changed. "How can you say you've changed when we're still having the same tired conversation?" he asked before walking away.

Marco's next stop was GH to see Lucas. He wanted to take Lucas up on his offer to show him around Port Charles because he expected to be moving there.

Sonny and Kristina also broke bread on the Metro Court terrace. Kristina told Sonny that she had invited Dante to join them so Sonny could tell his son about his heart condition. When Dante arrived, they made some small talk about Ric. Sonny mentioned that Ric should be more careful when driving. Kristina agreed.

Finally, Sonny got to the matter at hand and told Dante about his heart and the surgery he needed. Dante wanted to know why Sonny was finally telling him now. "Ava knows," was all Sonny had to say.

Jordan was impressed with Isaiah's cooking skills, a whole three-course meal for lunch. Isaiah wished he could have made her dinner, too, but he had to work in the ER. He also had a very pointed question: "How much longer do we need to keep hiding?"

Jordan reminded Isaiah that Sidwell couldn't know they were together. Jordan wondered if Isaiah was upset because they couldn't be together in public or that he was concerned for her safety. Just then, Sidwell texted Jordan and asked to see her.

Isaiah was gone by the time that Sidwell arrived. Jordan was surprised when Sidwell offered her a job. He wanted Jordan to be his brand ambassador, handling all PR and public services. Jordan immediately told Sidwell that she wasn't interested.

In the Q stables, Lulu agreed to tell Cody why she was really so interested in Dante and Brook Lynn's past — as long as Cody promised not to tell Dante. Cody swore on the Code of the Lolipop that he wouldn't, so Lulu just came out with it. "I'm still in love with him," Lulu confessed.

Lulu explained that she never wanted to divorce Dante, but after his PTSD sent him to a WSB clinic, she didn't feel she had a choice. Dante even begged her to file so she could be free to move on with her life. Lulu had done just that, but when Dustin proposed, she realized she still loved Dante. She entered her coma before she could get the words out and woke up to him mourning Sam.

"Four years had passed for Dante, but for me, nothing's changed," she admitted. She was glad he had built a life with Sam and understood Dante's grief. "I think that Dante loves me, but I don't think he's in love with me," Lulu said. She then asked Cody if he thought she should tell Dante how she felt. Cody thought she should keep her feelings to herself for now.

Dante was surprised to see Lois back in the Quartermaine kitchen. Lois could tell Brook Lynn wanted to have a talk with Dante, so she interrupted her with tales from Bensonhurst. Dante excused himself because he needed to meet Kristina and Sonny, leaving Lois and Brook Lynn alone for the first time in weeks.

Brook Lynn assured Lois she wasn't going to tell Dante about the baby. She was only going to say that she and Lois had patched things up. She explained that Chase had advised her to put aside her hurt feelings so people would stop asking questions. That was the only way to keep her secret hidden.

Brook Lynn said she didn't want to hurt the people who loved her, so Lois noted that she sounded like she wanted to tell all. Brook Lynn was not sure. "I also don't want to hurt you, Ma. Not ever," she said. Lois hoped Brook Lynn also wanted to make up because she missed her, not just that she didn't want to answer too many questions.

Brook Lynn admitted she was still hurt that Lois had told Gloria about the baby, but she now understood that Lois just needed someone to confide in, "just like I needed to confide in Chase." Lois was relieved to hear that Brook Lynn had decided to leave the past in the past.
