Here is your General Hospital recap for Tuesday, April 29, 2025, when Portia and Nina's plan came together.
What happened on General Hospital

In her office, Portia called Nina and questioned whether they were really ready to go through with drugging Drew. "We sure are. I have the ketamine, and our trap is set. We just have to decide when and where to lure Drew into it," Nina said. Just then, Drew stormed into Portia's office, insisting they needed to talk.
Portia hung up to deal with Drew. "Do I need to remind you that I hold your career and your relationship in my hands? And right now, they're both hanging by a thread," Drew warned. Portia claimed it wasn't easy to get Curtis to change course once he had made up his mind. "Especially when it comes to you. And I have tried repeatedly," Portia said.
Drew insisted that Portia keep trying because he had another demand. He wanted Curtis to have Aurora do multiple hit pieces on Sonny. "The referendum on the esplanade is really just a referendum on Sonny," Drew explained. Portia reminded Drew that Curtis would never go against Laura.
In the Q solarium, Jason walked in on the conversation between Tracy, Emma, and Gio. "Oh, Jason, I was just telling Gio about some of the suffering that Sonny has wrought on this family over the decades," Tracy said with a smile on her face. Gio explained that Tracy was supporting the campaign to "steal" Sonny's piers.
Emma spoke up in Sonny's defense. "Please don't do this. You said yourself that you owed me for helping save your family's crypt from being bulldozed by Drew Cain," she said. Suddenly, Tracy got an idea that involved Drew.
She called him and interrupted his argument with Portia. "I assure you, it will be of the utmost importance to you," Tracy said. Drew was all ears.
After Tracy hung up with Drew, Emma was disgusted that Tracy would work with a man who nearly had her parents' graves bulldozed. Gio tried to defend Sonny again, but Tracy told him that Sonny was much more than the man Gio had seen on the surface.
"Jason, I know you're going to embark on some heroic stories about Sonny, but don't forget to tell him about what he did to your brother," Tracy said, referring to when Sonny killed an unarmed AJ. After Emma left, Gio asked Jason what Sonny did to AJ. "It's probably better if you forget what you heard," Jason advised. Gio said he couldn't, but if Jason didn't tell him, he'd find someone who would.
"You want to know what happened to my brother? Sonny killed him," Jason said in his Stone Cold way. Gio refused to believe Jason. "There's no way that Uncle Sonny would do that," Gio insisted. Jason explained that Sonny shot AJ in order to save Ava, but Gio asked how Jason knew what really happened. "Cause I choose to believe Sonny," Jason said.x
Jason explained his life journey. "The Quartermaines warned me about Sonny years ago, and it got bad. It got so bad that I had to completely cut ties with my family," he said. "But now, I've got Danny and some life experience, and I see things differently now. I didn't get where they were coming from then, but I do now. You're not a kid anymore, so you have to decide. Are you going to trust your relationship with Sonny or are you going to listen to everybody else?" Jason asked.
Drew and Tracy met at the Port Charles Grille. Drew was all ears when he learned that Tracy wanted to join his fight to take Sonny's piers. Tracy wanted to put their differences aside and work together. Drew had a price for his efforts — the Quartermaine name. Tracy agreed to Drew's terms, but only if the referendum passed.
Nina welcomed Jacinda to her pretty pastel apartment. She handed Jacinda the vial of ketamine. "Here is what you will use to drug Drew Cain," Nina said. She promised Jacinda that the ketamine was pharmacy-grade. "I want Drew to have a night he never remembers and a night that everyone in Port Charles will never forget," Nina added.
Portia then called and told Nina that Drew was headed to the Port Charles Grille, so Nina sent Jacinda there to get the job done. Portia then stopped by so Nina could assure her that everything was going to plan. Wiley, Amelia, and Scout were sleeping at her place, so Drew's Dawn of Day house was empty. "This is going to break my daughter's heart, but I have to believe that in the end, it's all gonna be worth it," Nina sighed.
Back at the Port Charles Grille, Drew ordered a drink from the waiter. When the bartender placed it on the bar, Jacinda laced it with ketamine before Drew was served his drink. She texted Nina to tell her it was done, as Nina and Portia braced themselves for the fallout.
As for Drew, he went on and on about how much he looked forward to "tearing Sonny apart piece by piece." After Tracy left, Jacinda approached Drew, who told her his drink seemed a little too strong.
However, he said he felt good. "I'm getting better all the time," he said before asking Jacinda her name. Jacinda wasted no time asking Drew to go somewhere more fun, so they headed to The Savoy. However, Drew downed the rest of his drink first.
At The Savoy, Curtis promised Jordan he wouldn't ask anymore questions about her new job. "Good, cause it's not like we're still married and I owe you any answers," Jordan pointed out. Curtis reminded Jordan that the truth always has a way of coming out.
Curtis warned his ex-wife that this wasn't going to be an easy task, and bringing down Sidwell was dangerous. "You're looking at it the wrong way, Curtis. It's not whether I can handle Sidwell. It's whether Sidwell can handle me," she said.
When Portia arrived, she tried not to have a reaction as Jordan and Curtis told her that Jordan would be working with Drew as part of her new job with Sidwell.
At the bar, Professor Dalton flirted with Anna. He wanted to know all about her job as police commissioner, but Anna wasn't interested in talking about work. Josslyn sat with a drink and watched them from the other end of the bar. When Anna spotted Jordan deep in conversation with Curtis, she decided to call it a night.
Dalton asked for Anna's phone number before she left, but Anna refused. "I'm sure we will run into each other again, somewhere," she said before leaving. Once Anna was gone, Josslyn approached Dalton and reminded him that she was in his class. "Oh yeah, the latecomer," he said.
Josslyn laid it on thick, telling Dalton how wonderful his class was. She expressed her interest in the research assistant position. "I just don't think it's gonna happen," Dalton said, much to Josslyn's dismay. He told her that he wanted to hire someone who had been doing the work all semester. Josslyn promised to keep working hard to improve her chances.
When Drew walked in with Jacinda, he was acting like a man who had just been drugged with ketamine. He nearly fell before putting his arms around Jacinda. Curtis was not happy to see his former friend. "Drew seems to forget that I banned him from this place," he said.
Curtis wanted to approach Drew, but Portia stopped him, amazed that her plan was working. "Drunk Drew is making a fool of himself right now, Curtis. The congressman ordered a round of shots for everyone. As Drew made more of a scene, intrepid reporter Lulu began taking snaps.
Jordan tried to get Drew to leave with her, but he was ready for body shots using Jacinda's body. Portia called Nina to inform her of what was happening. "This is going better than we'd hoped. Much better," Portia smiled while Lulu snapped away.
At Cafe Cherie, Lucas told Marco that his father had just walked in. Sidwell approached their table with Lucy on his arm. Sidwell introduced Lucy to Marco Rios. She recognized his name from some real estate paperwork, so Sidwell proudly announced that Marco was his son.
When Lucy and Sidwell sat down at their table, Lucas thought they now had to talk about their dads. Lucas explained that Tony Jones was his adoptive father and that Julian Jerome was his biological father. Lucas admitted that Tony accepted him as soon as he came out, but Bobbie had a harder time before she eventually came around.
Marco then shared his own experience. "My dad accepted me with no problem, and my mom couldn't," Marco said, matter-of-factly. "She still can't. And the only downside of living in Port Charles is that she lives here too," he added. Marco explained that her mother also made some homophobic remarks about his sister that went viral. When Lucas heard that Marco's sister was Blaze, he said, "Your mother is Natalia Ramirez?"
Marco explained his family dynamic. "The look on her face when I told her. I'll never forget it," Marco said of when he came out to Natalia.
Across the dining room, Lucy marveled at the fact that Natalia never mentioned having a son. "Did we really know her at all?" Lucy wondered.
Anna and Emma later met for coffee, where Anna told her granddaughter she had just met Professor Dalton at The Savoy. Anna found it interesting that "you both switched to the same school at the exact same time."
Anna asked Emma if there was something she wanted to tell her. "Okay fine. I deliberately made sure that I was in Dalton's class," Emma admitted facetiously. Anna still insisted that she didn't believe in coincidences.
