Here is your General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 24, 2025, when Molly came across a fascinating find in her briefcase.
What happened on General Hospital

Lulu invited Lucas to her new home to interview him on how it feels to be adopted. Lucas was game and gave Lulu lots of information, telling her that his parents handled things right by never hiding that he was adopted. "I always felt chosen and loved, and I don't think they loved me any differently than my sister BJ," Lucas said of Tony and Bobbie.
Lucas felt that "adoption was the greatest gift you could give or receive." Lulu then asked what it was like when Lucas met his bio dad, Julian, as an adult. "Despite not being raised by him and his many, many flaws, I thought I could make room in my heart for him," Lucas said, adding that he didn't regret getting to know Julian.
When Lucas was gone, Rocco asked how the interview went. He then told Lulu that he felt like he, Danny, and Scout had adopted each other when they lived with Sam. Lulu understood that Rocco had a family with Dante, Danny, and Scout and told Rocco it was fine if he wanted to spend more time at the Quartermaines.
"Mom, I spent years praying for this, being able to walk down the stairs and see you and talk to you. I love my family, all of them. Dad, Danny, Scout, and Charlotte. But when I'm here with you, I'm exactly where I want to be," Rocco said.
Felicia was alarmed when she saw Brook Lynn walk Cody into the GH emergency room. Hades had kicked him in the ribs, and Brook Lynn was worried. While they waited for a doctor, Brook Lynn acknowledged that Cody must be annoyed with her for insisting he seek medical attention.
"I'm not annoyed with you. I thought you were annoyed with me," Cody said. Brook Lynn was confused and wondered why. "'Cause I ran my mouth to Lulu about your pregnancy and now you have to stay all morning at the hospital with me," Cody replied. Brook Lynn claimed the only person she was mad and annoyed with was Lulu.
Finally, Felicia found Lucas, who sent Cody to radiology for X-rays. Brook Lynn and Lucas made some small talk, with Lucas mentioning that Lulu had just interviewed him for a feature she is writing about adoption. That sent Brook Lynn straight to Lulu's place to ask her what the heck she was doing.
Diane and Alexis met with Marco to talk about his job offer. Diane felt embarrassed that she had introduced Marco to Sonny without knowing about Marco's "controversial parentage." Alexis and Daine wanted Marco to assure them that his father's business dealings won't interfere with their representation of Sonny.
Marco promised he could keep his dealings with Sidwell separate, but Diane warned him that he would likely never work with Sonny or Jason. Finally, Alexis welcomed Marco to the firm before leaving to visit Kristina.
Once Alexis was gone, Diane handed Marco a file. He gave back one piece of paper to her and said, "Are you sure you want me working on this?" He was referring to Kristina's commitment paperwork. Diane asked Marco not to tell anyone he saw the paperwork before placing it in an envelope.
Molly walked the hospital halls with Ric, but was displeased to learn that her dad's only visitors had been her and Ava. Molly changed the subject to tell Ric he had come a long way since his accident. "I would have completely lost it that night if it weren't for Mom and Kristina and Cody," Molly said. "Cody? Isn't that the horse guy?" a perplexed Ric asked.
Molly admitted that Cody had turned out to be a really good friend. Ric said it was good to have support. Molly agreed but feared for her dad. "I'm worried about your support system. I'm worried that Ava is the one showing up for you," Molly said. She knew that Ava was more than a friend and didn't like it.
"Ava appeals to the worst parts of you. Ava might not be directly responsible for Irene's death, but she is responsible for a lot of bad, and I want better than that for you. I want you to be better than that," Molly said.
"So, what are you saying? If Ava's in my life, then you're not going to be?" Ric asked. Molly told her dad that she wasn't going to give him an ultimatum; she just hoped he'd be careful of Ava. "I want you to think long and hard if you really want to get involved with Ava before she gets you wrapped up in something you'll regret," she added.
When Molly got Ric back to his room, Diane appeared to discuss the legalities of Sonny taking Avery to his island over the summer. As Ava's lawyer, Ric needed to work out the details. As Diane reached for the paperwork, she dropped her briefcase, knocking over Molly's briefcase in the process. Molly and Diane picked up all their belongings, but the envelope marked "Davis" ended up in Molly's bag.
While Diane met with Ric, she asked him to go easy on Alexis. Ric asked why, so Diane said she just wanted their truce to last. When Diane walked out of the room, Ric could only grin. "Nice try, Diane. Alexis told you the truth," Ric said to himself.
Molly later found Cody in the waiting area, sitting in a wheelchair. He told her what happened with Hades. "The same horse you rescued me on?!" Molly exclaimed. Cody claimed it wasn't the horse's fault. Molly explained that she was there to visit her dad, but she decided to sit with Cody since Brook Lynn had left. She figured she could get some work done while waiting for Cody's X-ray results.
When Molly opened one of the manila envelopes in her bag, her jaw dropped as she found the commitment papers.
Brick welcomed Carly and Sonny to sunny Los Angeles, with Sonny already in his hospital gown, ready for his surgery. Brick was glad Carly was the one with Sonny this time. "I'm glad you came. To know you've got his back is the best news I've heard," Brick said. Sonny was grateful to Brick for handling his heart condition discreetly.
Dante met with Kristina at Carly's house, where Kristina was staying to watch Donna while Carly and Sonny were in California. Dante thanked Kristina for getting Sonny to tell him about his heart issues. "Dad needs his family, especially now," Dante said.
The siblings discussed how Sonny was always there for them, especially over the last year when Kristina lost the baby and Dante lost Sam. Kristina felt better about herself when Donna announced that Kristina was the best. After Dante left, Kristina and Donna began coloring. Donna asked for a glass of water, but when Kristina got up, Donna grabbed her sister's phone and video called her daddy.
Sonny was thrilled to video chat with both his daughters. Donna asked why Sonny was in a bed wearing a gown, so Sonny just said he was getting a check-up and Mommy was there to take care of him. When Sonny's doctor arrived, he explained the procedure so that Sonny was mentally prepared.
Later, Carly and Sonny remembered the 2000 shooting that damaged his heart all those years ago and how worried Carly was that she would lose Sonny. "I wouldn't let the doctors give up on you. I made them keep fighting cause I knew you were fighting. I am telling you right now, do not give up, not for anything," an emotional Carly said.
Later, as Sonny was given anesthesia and was told to count backwards from 10, he remembered special moments with his children and grandchildren, as well as with Mike.
Danny was surprised and pleased to learn that Jason hadn't just dropped him off at the batting cage; he also planned on staying. Father and son hit some balls as they waited for Rocco and Dante. When Jason complimented Danny's swing, Danny said his softball-expert mom had taught him.
Jason asked Danny how he felt about Rocco living with Lulu half the time. Danny said he was happy for Rocco because he knew he had missed his mom all the years that Lulu was in a coma, but it was still hard. "It's already weird with Scout being gone. The only reason we moved into the Quartermaines was so the three of us could stick together. Like Mom wanted," Danny said.
Jason told Danny that it was okay to have mixed feelings about not being with Rocco and Scout as much when his mom was gone. "It just makes sense that these feelings could get mixed up with you losing your mom. It's okay," Jason said. He admitted that he missed Sam, too, and told Danny that they were both similar because they kept things inside.
"But nobody could get me to talk like your mom, and I'm telling you, it helps," Jason said, assuring Danny that he was there to listen before embracing his son. Danny later told Jason that he believed his mom didn't want him around Jason when he first returned last year because Sam was afraid Jason would disappear again.
"I think she finally figured out that you can take care of me," Danny said, to which Jason replied, "And I will," Danny told Jason he hadn't felt so alone since Sam died because he had his father.
When Dante and Rocco finally made it, Dante and Jason stood back and watched their boys. "They're brothers. We gotta make sure they don't lose their connection," Dante said. "Sam would love seeing this," Jason noted. Dante agreed.
