What Happened On General Hospital

This week on General Hospital, Port Charles was going through a shake-up as Sidwell made himself comfortable in town and ruined Natalia’s life, one acquaintance at a time. Natalia was let go by Deception for, well, deception. The women of Deception decided that they definitely needed Sidwell on board because of his Zincite, but Natalia would have to go as CFO due to her neglect in not disclosing her ex-husband's identity to everyone. Sidwell spoke with Natalia and convinced her to tell him what she knew about Sonny, as he found out that she and Sonny had gone to see a cardiologist. Natalia spilled the beans, so Sidwell then knew that Sonny was having problems with his heart, was on medication, and would soon have surgery. Elsewhere, Sonny prepared for his surgery as Carly tagged along to help him, under the ruse of them being there to find a new doctor for Michael. Alexis confided in Diane about the Kristina/Ava/Ric/Elizabeth debacle. Diane told Alexis to have Kristina committed, but Alexis refused and instead decided to give in to Ava's demands. Kristina dealt with the guilt she felt over almost killing Ric and Elizabeth, while Ava got Alexis to deal her the Cassadine fortune she originally received in her divorce from Nikolas. Ric warned Ava not to spend all of the money at once and to be discreet about it, while he was warned by Molly not to even associate with Ava. Carly almost slapped Willow in a heated exchange regarding Willow’s decisions as of late and continued her hunt to get Wiley and Amelia out of Drew’s house by calling Diane and asking her to start moving things up with Willow and Michael’s custody battle, including the date, but to keep it on the hush-hush. Another thing to be kept on the hush-hush was Nina and Portia's plan to frame Drew with an escort. With Drew in mind, Willow went to Germany to talk to Michael face-to-face, but was told that he didn't want to see her. Heartbroken, she called Nina and spoke with her about it. After Willow left, however, it was revealed that her precious Drew was behind this encounter, and Michael had no clue that Willow was even there. Diane tried, and failed (again) to convince Alexis to have Kristina committed, stating that they could secure an insanity defense for her and not tell Molly about any of it. Alexis continued to refuse and decided to just cover the accident up and pay Ava off. Molly got her hands on Kristina's involuntary admittance papers and showed them to Kristina, and both girls confronted Alexis about the papers together. Jordan, now deep undercover and COO for Sidwell, met with Drew to discuss taking Sonny down, and Jordan appealed to Drew. Tracy found an unlikely ally in Ezra Boyle through their shared hatred of Sonny and enlisted his help in ensuring Sonny didn't operate in Port Charles anymore. Kai formally accepted Drew's offer for the surgery; Drew asked Kai to take part in a documentary about his journey. Kai hastily agreed. Brook Lynn and Chase began to strongly consider adoption, and they asked Lois for information on the adoption agency that had been used when Brook Lynn was a teenager. Lois called Gloria in a panic and finally just told them that the agency closed down years ago. Lulu's first job writing for the Llanview Banner was a story on adoption; Brook Lynn wasn't thrilled. Although Sonny's surgery was a success, a mystery nurse was seen going into his room with a syringe, then connecting the syringe to his I.V. The last image we saw was Sonny's eyes opening.
