Here is your General Hospital recap for Tuesday, April 15, 2025, when Alexis gave in to Ava's demands despite Diane's pleas.
What happened on General Hospital

Ava and Ric spoke on the phone as Ava waited for Alexis to show up at the gallery with her money. Ric hung up when Dante walked into the room, alarming Ava. She then heard footsteps and thought it was Alexis, but it was Trina. Ava could tell that Trina wanted to talk, so she sat her young friend down.
Ava was surprised to hear that Drew had told Kai about an experimental surgery that could help him play football again. "Kai is risking his health or maybe even his life," Trina said. Ava assured Trina that Portia could get through to Kai, but Trina didn't think so. Ava then tried to be encouraging, reminding Trina that there was a chance the surgery could be a success.
"Ultimately, Trina, you have to respect his right to make this choice for himself," Ava stressed. Later, Trina met with Kai at the Surf Lodge, where he told her that he was going to have the surgery against Portia's recommendation. After some convincing, Trina agreed to support Kai.
Molly found Kristina in the hospital halls. Molly was touched that Kristina wanted to visit Ric with her. "I want to put all the animosity for your dad and Ava behind me," Kristina said. When they walked into Ric's room, they were surprised to see Dante. Kristina tried to keep her cool when Dante asked to speak with her in the hall.
Dante and Kristina discussed Sonny's condition before a curious Kristina asked her brother a question. "What is a detective doing investigating a car crash?" Dante said he wasn't there in a professional capacity but was just checking up on his uncle.
Back in Ric's room, father and daughter caught up with one another. They made small talk, but Ric seemed nervous. Molly was pleased that Dante had stopped by, but Ric wanted to talk about Kristina and how the accident seemed to have brought them closer together.
When Alexis arrived at work, she found Diane discussing Kristina's case on the phone. After Diane had hung up, Alexis put the folded commitment papers on her desk and said she couldn't sign them. "Kristina severely injured two people while attempting to kill a third. We have no choice but to commit her," Diane said.
Diane again explained that committing Kristina now would allow her to use an insanity defense in case the police ever discovered that Kristina had cut the brakes on Ric's car. "I didn't sign it. I don't intend to. Delete it. Shred it. Burn it," Alexis said of the papers. "What good would it do to protect my daughter if I destroy her in the process?" she asked.
Alexis explained that she changed her mind at a Davis Girls dinner the night before. "I know that Krisitna needs the love and support of her family, and if I send her away, it will shatter her trust in me," Alexis said. She didn't want to be the one who would destroy Molly and Kristina's relationship for good.
"If I commit Kristina, Molly will want to know why. If she finds out that Kristina tried to kill her father, they're done, and then I lose what's left of my family," Alexis explained. Diane pointed out that Molly would find out anyway if there was a police investigation. "Wouldn't it be better if she heard it from you?" Diane asked.
Alexis thought the only way to deal with this was to cover it up. Right on cue, she received a text from Ava warning her not to be late. After Alexis put down her phone, Diane warned her of the serious consequences of covering up Kristina's crime.
That didn't matter to Alexis because she made her way to Ava's gallery to tell her she had Cassadine funds transferred to a Swiss bank account. Ava regretfully informed Alexis that her price had gone up. "My divorce settlement is a great start, but that's not all I want," she said.
As Alexis tried to leave, Ava gave her a warning: "Keep a leash on that daughter of yours, or the price for my silence just might skyrocket."
In the Q solarium, Chase and Lois caught up. Chase told Lois that he was glad she was back, which was a relief to Lois. "Honestly, Chase, I never thought you'd want to see me again," she admitted. Chase admitted that Lois was not an easy person to stay mad at.
Lois apologized to Chase for asking Brook Lynn to keep her baby secret from this, including her baby daddy secret. Chase said he couldn't remain angry at Brook Lynn for a decision she made when she was a teenager and understood telling Dante was Brook Lynn's choice and not his. Lois was relieved to hear that Chase would honor Brook Lynn's choices.
Lois relayed to Chase how Brook Lynn had always put her child first, but then bent the truth when she said that she had faith that the nuns found the right adoptive parents for Brook Lynn's son. "I choose to believe that my grandchild is healthy and loved," she said.
Brook Lynn was in awe watching Gio playing his violin outside the Q boat house. "You always give it everything you got even when you're just playing for the ducks," she remarked. When Gio stopped playing, she told him that she needed his help and asked him to perform at the Nurses' Ball.
Gio worried that a violin solo wouldn't be a good fit for the Nurses' Ball. "Classical music for the wrong audience puts people right to sleep," Gio joked. After some pleas from Brook Lynn, Gio agreed to perform. Later, Brook Lynn also convinced Chase to perform. The show was coming together.
Lucky wheeled Elizabeth through her front door, where she was surprised to see Aiden, Laura, and Lulu waiting to welcome her home. Liz was pleased to hear that Lucky had spent time with Aiden when she was hospitalized. She was shocked when Amy showed up as her home nurse who would be with her eight hours a day. Aiden declared Amy to be "too much" almost immediately.
When Laura and Liz had a few minutes alone, Liz told her former mother-in-law how grateful she was to have Lucky helping her. Laura then spoke with Lucky in the kitchen. She could tell Lucky was keeping something from her. Laura advised Lucky to tell Liz how he felt about her.
Aiden, Lucky, and Lulu later agree that Amy was driving them insane, so Lulu suggested to Lucky that he move in to take care of Elizabeth.
Josslyn was surprised when Emma sat down with her at the Surf Lodge. They made small talk about schoolwork until Josslyn had to rush to her environmental physics class.
When the girls returned to the Surf Lodge after class, they ran into Professor Dalton. As he sang Emma's praises, Josslyn interrupted and introduced herself, annoying Emma. Dalton turned his attention back to Emma and suggested she apply to be his summer research assistant.
Emma was pleased to be singled out, but Josslyn was worried because snagging that job was part of Josslyn's WSB assignment.
