Diane was surprised when she saw that Alexis' good mood turned into anything but. "It's bad, Di, really bad. Before I tell you, I need to hire you as my lawyer," Alexis said before informing Diane this was about Kristina. Alexis tried to beat around the bush about what happened, but finally blurted out, "She caused Ric's car crash."

Alexis told Diane all about her meeting with Ava and the video evidence Ava had that Kristina cut Ric's brakes. "She wasn't trying to kill Ric. She was trying to kill Ava," Alexis said. A panicked Alexis begged for Diane's legal advice. Diane knew exactly what to do. "You need to have Kristina committed," she said (much to the relief of the audience, we are sure).

Alexis hysterically argued that she couldn't do it, even if Diane claimed this was Kristina's only way out. "I can't do it and she'll never go along with it," Alexis said. Diane reasoned that with all Kristina has been through lately, Alexis wouldn't need Kristina's permission.

Alexis was horrified that Diane was suggesting committing Kristina involuntarily. "She'll never forgive me," Alexis claimed. She also didn't think Sonny would go along with it. Diane disagreed. "Sonny has had his share of mental health struggles...Sonny also understands the law more than most, and he knows that something you need to think outside the box," Diane said.

Diane finally got to the crux of the matter. "Kristina needs help," she told her tearful friend. "There's a pattern here, honey. Kristina gets herself into trouble. You come in and clean it all up. It's not helping. It's time to take drastic action," Diane said bluntly before telling Alexis to take her time deciding.

It didn't take Alexis long. "Do it," she said to Diane's shock. Draw up the papers and have Kristina committed."

In the Q kitchen, Sasha explained that she wanted to move out of the Quartermaine house to prove her independence. "I gotta walk the walk, right?" she asked. Jason admitted that he wanted her to raise the baby in his family's house.

"I think it would be good for you to be here. And I know it would be good for the bay. And I know the Quartermaines drive each other crazy, but underneath it all, they do love each other, and they do take care of each other," he said. "Then why'd you spend most your life avoiding them?" Sasha asked.

Jason admitted he had been estranged from the Qs most of his adult life. "But since I've been back, I think I'm finally understanding what it means to suck things up for the family," he said. He also knew that Danny loved being there, and "I think the baby would, too."

He then brought up Monica. "She might not know who the real father is, but it's still her family. And I think it would be nice for the baby to be close. For her," Jason said. Just then, Danny appeared while Jason received a text from Nina. "Come to Drew's. It's Carly. 911," she wrote. Jason said he had to go, leaving Sasha and Danny to spend some bonding time baking.

In Drew's Dawn of Day house, Carly went off on Willow for moving in with Drew, asking her what she was thinking. She even suggested that Willow could move in with her or stay at the Metro Court rather than living with Drew. "Carly, stop. You have no right to dictate our lives," Willow said.

"But Michael does," Carly argued. "Those are Michael's kids too, and if he can't be here to fight for them, then I'm going to do it for him." Willow once again argued that they were her children and this was her decision. "Child," Carly declared, shocking Willow.

"Wiley isn't technically yours," Carly said. Drew and Willow were horrified. "That might be the worst thing you have ever said to me," Willow gasped. Carly shot right back. "You're repaying Michael's extraordinary kindness by shacking up with his uncle, and you're uprooting and confusing his kids in the process," Carly shouted.

All Willow could argue was that she was a good person and that her children loved Drew. "The Willow Micheal married would never do this to him," Carly said. Willow was sorry for hurting Michael, but "I'm not going to apologize for wanting to be with Drew, and I'm certainly not going to apologize for falling in love with him," she blurted out, much to Drew's shock and delight.

Nina returned to the room and wondered what was going on. "You just missed the big announcement. Willow is in love with Drew," Carly said. She turned to Willow. "You don't even know him," she said before speaking directly to Drew. "It means you have many different personas, and nobody knows what they're getting at any given time," she explained.

Willow argued that Carly was wrong as they traded barbs back and forth. Nina stood back and said nothing while giving Drew the side eye and sending a text. Willow surprised Carly with her nasty string of comebacks, so Carly went there.

"I cannot believe you are the woman I walked down the aisle. If I had to do it all over again, I will drag you as far away as possible. And I can't believe I didn't see it, but you've been like her all along," Carly said, referring to Nelle. That was a bridge too far even for Nina, but Carly kept going.

"At least with Nelle, I knew who I was dealing with," Carly said before Willow pointed out that Nelle took Willow's dead son and switched him with Wiley, telling Michael that his baby was dead.

"Carly, the days of you telling me what to do are over. You can say you're here for Michael. You are here for you. And I will do whatever I want with my kids cause absent Michael has no say in what I do and neither do you. So, just shut up already. Everyone here knows your altruistic mother act is about as fake as you are," Willow screamed.

Carly then turned around to wallop Willow across the mouth, but Jason swooped in and stopped her. As Jason dragged Carly out of the Dawn of Day house, Carly had a warning. "Let me tell you something, Willow. I'm going to help Michael get his kids back, and you're never going to see them again. Ever," Carly vowed.

As they stood in her office, Portia could tell that something was bothering Curtis, and she knew it had to be about Drew. "Ezra Boyle, who's obviously in bed with Drew and Sidwell, they want to move the esplanade to Sonny's piers," Curtis told his wife. Portia deduced that Boyle wanted it to seem like Laura was doing Sonny's bidding. Curtis worried that Laura would have to go with what Drew wanted for the esplanade.

"If Boyle gets the story out, it could be the end of Laura's career," Curtis lamented. They both agreed that Drew was the mastermind behind Boyle's editorial. "Is there anyone's life Drew isn't trying to ruin?" Portia asked. "That's why I'm trying to keep him away from Kai," Curtis said, surprising Portia. Curtis explained that Drew was behind the idea for the surgery.

After Curtis left, Portia called Brad to her office and asked him to dig up every file and lab result related to Drew. "I need you to go all the way back to when he arrived in Port Charles. Don't forget the Jake Doe files," Portia said.

Kai met with Trina at the Surf Lodge and told her that he was going to play football again. Kai explained that he couldn't let fear hold him back, and he wanted to go ahead with the surgery. "Football is what makes my life worth living," she said.

Trina expressed her hesitation, but Kai had a pointed question. "Are you concerned about the surgery itself or because it's a gift from Drew?" he asked. Trina admitted her main fear was that Kai might get hurt playing again if the surgery was a success. She also worried about his mental health if it wasn't.

After Trina left, Curtis arrived. Kai told him he was going to have the surgery. Curtis once again warned him that Drew couldn't be trusted.

When Emma arrived home, Anna told her they needed to have a chat. "I got hold of your sealed arrest records, and I know everything," Anna said. She read off a list of Emma's crimes. "Breaking and entering, trespassing, and assault," she said.

Emma explained that she threw a huge party to distract security so she could break into a lab that she and her friends had suspected was doing animal testing. "The plan was to get all of the animals out of the building, but security got there before I could," Emma said. She also confessed that she accidentally hit a guard with the crowbar she used to break in.

Anna thanked Emma for telling her the truth but didn't think Emma grasped the severity of what had happened. "What if the security guard had died, Emma?" Emma said she lives with that thought every day. Emma also told Anna that she was just like her. They both wanted to do something good in this world and were willing to bend the rules if they thought they were right.

In the park, Vaughn told Josslyn that her job was to cozy up to Professor Dalton in her new environmental physics class. "Your mission is to secure a spot as Professor Dalton's research assistant," Vaughn said.

Josslyn wondered if she was only recruited because she was a PCU student. "Look, Jack Brennan is the best of the best. He saw something special in you, and that's why you're here," Vaughn answered. He reminded Joss that she wasn't a student anymore. She was an agent posing as a student.
