'Can we put Lulu back in a coma yet?' — General Hospital fans voice their frustrations

General Hospital's Lulu woke from her four-year coma four months ago and Port Charles hasn't been the same since. From her just waltzing out of Turning Wood to waltzing into the Quartermaine mansion and taking off to Prague for Christmas, Lulu has been a busy bee.

Lulu's latest General Hospital move

During Lulu's (Alexa Havins) months-long search for Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), she became desperate and broke into her Uncle Marty's (Michael E. Knight) hotel room in search of clues to Valentin's (James Patrick Stuart) whereabouts. While she came up empty on the Valentin and Charlotte front, Lulu did find Marty's notes from his meeting with Lois (Rena Sofer) about Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) giving her baby up for adoption.

When Lulu realized Brook Lynn had a son while in high school and the father was Lulu's ex-husband Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), she decided Dante had to know the truth. That led Lulu to angrily and nastily confront Brook Lynn, who didn't even know she had given birth to a son until Lulu told her. Watching the showdown between Brook Lynn and Lulu had fans on the edge of their seats, leaving some furious with Lulu for that and the way she is inserting herself in Brook Lynn's business.

Lulu has some nerve

Some fans believe this new version of Lulu is more of the same from before she spent four years unconscious.

"Can we put Lulu back in a coma yet?" asked X (formerly Twitter) user @smiledani. "What an absolutely self-absorbed selfish shrew, same as she’s always been. You’d think she would have a fresh perspective with this second chance. Crazy how Brooklyn’s secret is somehow about her."

@denatchka feels the same, tweeting, "Who put insufferable Lulu in charge of everyone’s business? She is like the town crier, inserting herself where she doesn’t belong. What right does she have to insinuate herself into Brook Lynn’s life, judging her abt giving a baby up when she was a teen & not telling Dante?"

Lulu isn't making any fans with new viewers either, as @anniemgc admits.

"I didn't watch the show when Lulu was on before, but I don't much like her now. Was she always so difficult?" they asked.

Blue Sky user @ohiometgirl131 is also furious with Lulu for not being sympathetic toward a situation she also found herself in. "Wow, Lulu has zero compassion for a teen pregnancy....like she never went thru it herself," they wrote.

X user jessybrownsugar concurs, writing, "After watching #GH Lulu had no business getting on Brook Lynn for something she basically did herself years ago. So was she only woken up to make Brook Lynn's life miserable because so far she's doing a great job!"

Now that Charlotte is on her way back to Port Charles with no help from Lulu at all, at least Lulu will have someone besides Brook Lynn to focus on. However, the damage has already been done...
