All the reasons General Hospital's Josslyn shouldn't go to spy school

General Hospital's Josslyn Jacks just committed her very first murder, a rite of passage for many soap characters. According to WSB bureau chief Jack Brennan, that means Josslyn is ready to be a super spy. We are here to explain why Jack might want to rethink this plan.

General Hospital's Josslyn had an idea

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) wondered if drone security footage of Rice Plaza might reveal who stabbed her boyfriend, so she approached her mother's new boyfriend to see if he could get a hold of that for her. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) was so impressed that Josslyn's mind came up with this genius idea that he thought she would make the perfect WSB agent.

Jack then proceeded to literally drop clues in front of Josslyn's face that would lead her to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), the man who stabbed Dex (Evan Hofer) before injecting Digitalis into his IV to kill him. In fact, Cyrus had murdered multiple people using that same method, so Josslyn murdered him — quite sloppily, we might add, which Jack already knows.

Josslyn's poor crime scene skills are just some of the many reasons that Josslyn is not super spy material, but they are not even the tip of the iceberg.

Not the direction for directionless Joss

When Josslyn first entered Port Charles University, she had no idea what she wanted to do with her life except play volleyball. After Ava (Maura West) was stabbed by The Hook, aka Heather Webber (Alley Mills), Josslyn helped Dex get her to the hospital alive and decided she wanted to be a doctor because it was fun to save someone's life.

However, Joss decided to switch gears when she realized her heart wasn't into being a pre-med student, so she became an environmental science major instead. Heck, we have even seen her browsing through a nursing school book recently. Clearly, Joss is still trying to find herself, which is okay when you are still in college, but should she find herself becoming a secret agent? Probably not.

Joss as Anna's worst nightmare

When Josslyn appointed herself the official avenger of Dex's death, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) knew she had a struggle on her hands. Nobody wanted to zip Joss' big mouth shut more than Anna when Carly's (Laura Wright) daughter told Cyrus to his face that the police were investigating him because they knew he killed Dex. Perhaps Anna should have recorded that moment to show her old pal Jack.

However, Josslyn did not stop there. She aroused suspicions when she broke into Cyrus' little apartment and accidentally left behind a small flower that was in her hair. Then, she broke into Cyrus' wooded hideout with a gun, didn't bother to wear gloves, got her prints everywhere as she rifled through his things, and shot him point-blank in the chest without thinking.

After Cyrus took his last breath, Josslyn continued to incriminate herself when her gloveless hands picked up the ax Cyrus was holding and left it on the table like it was nothing. Jack even saw all of this and somehow still thinks that Josslyn is the WSB recruit he's been waiting for.

If Josslyn does decide to take Jack up on his offer, Jack better run 'cause Anna — and Carly — might chase him with a taser.
