3 BIG General Hospital Takeaways, February 24: Jason the suspect, Alexis' heartache, Brook Lynn's relief

On the Monday, February 24, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Anna believed Cyrus was killed, Alexis got big news, and Brook Lynn filled in Lois.

General Hospital highlights

Jason (Steve Burton) ended up right back in his favorite spot — the PCPD interrogation room. The chair was probably still warm from his last visit. When Anna (Finola Hughes) saw the scene at Cyrus' (Jeff Kober) cabin, she knew it was too clean. Someone had to have killed him and cleared out the evidence like a professional. She couldn't imagine anyone doing that except Jason.

Jason denied all accusations and explained that he went straight to Sam's (Kelly Monaco) grave after Anna had released him the night before. He didn't kill Cyrus because Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), and Anna had asked him not to. He also knew it would hurt Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), and he wanted to honor Sam's wishes of putting Danny first. Anna didn't know what to think when the forensics report came back showing Jason's hair at the scene.

Alexis learns the horrible truth

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) informed Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and her two surviving daughters that Cyrus confessed to murdering Sam and only did it because she got in the way of his mission to release Lulu (Alexa Havins) from her suffering. Alexis was stunned to realize that her daughter only died because she was selfless enough to try and save someone else's life.

When they learned Cyrus was allegedly still out there, Kristina (Kate Mansi) railed against the justice system, so Molly (Kristen Vaganos) took her sister to Bobbie's to calm down. It didn't work, but at least Alexis was left alone to think. When Ric (Rick Hearst) stopped by to give Diane some papers, he got Alexis to tell him what was wrong. Alexis even let him hug her for comfort.

Brook Lynn alarms Lois

Lois (Rena Sofer) tried to keep a smile on her face when Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) informed her that she had told Chase (Josh Swickard) all about the baby she gave up for adoption while in high school. Brook Lynn was so relieved not to have to keep that secret from her mother anymore. Lois was relieved to learn that Brook Lynn kept the part about Dante being the father to herself.

Gio (Giovanni Mazza) soon joined the two women, leaving Lois to wonder how much longer she could hide the truth from her daughter and grandson.
